Supremely Talented Tyrant

Chapter 2218 - 2419: Who's More Ruthless?

  • Next Chapter

"Ah!" The cries of the man with the mole echoed incessantly.

No one knew how long it had been; to the onlookers, each slash felt like an eternity, unbearable to watch. Eventually, the cries of the man with the mole turned into sobs.

Yes, that's right, a big guy was made to cry in front of so many people, his own subordinates, by Hao Jian. He had never been treated like this before, utterly brutalized without any mercy.

He had heard Hao Jian mention returning everything twofold but never imagined Hao Jian would actually dare to do so. He had slashed Baldy five times, controlling each cut to avoid vital areas, preventing Baldy from dying, and five cuts was the limit, or else Baldy might have bled out before reaching the hospital.

In fact, being able to control it so well showed considerable skill.

Yet, he hadn't expected that she was already ruthless, but someone could be even more ruthless, slashing not in a lethal manner but aiming at the brink of death, and every cut was precisely controlled, striking exactly where intended.

Ten slashes, one person had to endure ten slashes. My god, who could potentially wield such cruelty?

Hao Jian's ten perfect cuts landed on him, each leaving him in intense agony, and after those ten slashes, he was hardly able to utter a single word in pain, speechless and choked up; it was his first time encountering such a powerful and fierce character.

He realized he'd hit a brick wall this time, but it was too late as everything had already transpired, leaving no room for change. Laying on the ground, he was near death.

With a "ding!" sound, Hao Jian released his grip, dropping the bloodstained knife to the ground, standing up as if he had completed a mission, and incredibly, wore a smile.

At this moment, the crowd looked at Hao Jian as if they were seeing a true god of murder, their eyes filled with fear and terror. Although Hao Jian was some distance from them, when his gaze swept over them, they were too slow to even hide.

One person stunned all of them, one person knocked their three leaders to the ground, some unconscious, some injured, none left unscathed.

Hao Jian stood there, one man silencing the crowd; truly a case of one man holding an entire army at bay.

Even Lin Dongyang and the group standing there were astonished. They knew Hao Jian was formidable, but it was their first time witnessing him in action, truly fierce. It was their first time seeing someone so powerful yet ruthless. They were all surprised.

Hao Jian shook his head slightly, then glanced over at those people. As his gaze swept past, they collectively retreated several steps. Hao Jian could only smile helplessly and say, "What are you dawdling for, hurry and get your boss to the hospital, or I won't guarantee he'll even be alive soon."

With that, Hao Jian smiled again and walked over to Lin Dongyang and the others.

At this moment, those stunned subordinates, hearing Hao Jian's words, hurriedly lifted Aquan, the short-sleeved guy, and then moved to the man with the mole. Seeing his condition, with a lot of blood already lost, they couldn't support him, or more blood would flow; he might not make it to the hospital. So, they could only call 120 for an ambulance. They were flustered, never expecting this outcome, and all took out their phones to make calls in haste.

Meanwhile, Hao Jian had already approached Lin Dongyang and the others, noticing the look in their eyes was completely different, full of respect that he could read within.

That was his goal for this trip; Baldy was his subordinate, followed his orders, it was widely known. If Baldy was hacked, hospitalized, and he, as the boss, did nothing, wouldn't that be disheartening?

Many leaders choose indifference when their people encounter danger; it's impossible to go all out for a subordinate. But Hao Jian was different; he needed to win hearts, his principle being double retribution for anyone who bullied his people.

The man with the mole slashed Baldy five times, sending him to the hospital. So, he slashed him ten times, also sending him to the hospital. Baldy stays in the hospital for ten days; he stays for a month. The momentum was that strong.

He wanted everyone to know that following him was the right choice; he'd treat people better than anyone else. If you were loyal to me, I would never fail you. Just like with Baldy, if someone harmed you, I'd avenge you, washing away your shame for you.

Feeling their reverent and admiring eyes, Hao Jian knew his objective was achieved. With a smile on his face, he waved and said, "Let's go back!"

He then got into a car, followed by everyone else, and the van started up swiftly, disappearing into the night. They came in a hurry, left just as quickly, leaving no traces but the fear they instilled.

In reality, even though Hao Jian called twenty strong lads to follow Baldy, none laid a hand; from the moment they got out of the cars, Hao Jian was the only one taking action. Why did Hao Jian ask Baldy to call them? Just for one reason: to spread the word about his actions tonight.

They would inevitably tell those around them about Hao Jian's heroic deeds last night, taking action for Baldy's revenge, thus spreading how exceptionally good he was to his brothers, causing more to be loyal to him.

Driving through the night, disappearing in it.

When Hao Jian left with his men, and the car lights vanished from sight, the group finally dared to move, their tense expressions finally relaxed. They instantly felt much lighter, and soon after, the ambulance arrived to take away the man with the mole, Aquan, and the short-sleeved guy to the hospital.

...

At this point, Baldy must have been resting, having been injured, and as it was quite late, it was best not to disturb him.

Hao Jian instructed the group to head back and rest well; he then got off halfway home and walked back alone.

He may not have known that after he got off, everyone was discussing him, praising him, many saying following him was the right choice. No need for other aspirations, he was exceptionally good. Little did he know his actions had won over countless hearts.

The next day when Baldy woke and learned what Hao Jian did for him the previous night, his face was filled with surprise and excitement, never expecting Hao Jian to have done so much for him, deeply touched, and silently vowed that he would follow Hao Jian's orders, never defying him, Hao Jian leads east, he will never go west, and vice versa.

Hao Jian was unaware of these developments; he only knew that upon returning home, Liang Xiaohan hadn't slept yet, opened the door, and she was sitting there. Seeing him back, she stood up, noticed the bloodstains on his clothes, startled, grabbed him and checked anxiously.

She was extremely frightened, and after discovering he wasn't injured, the tense expression gradually faded. Hao Jian explained that the blood was not his but someone else's. Liang Xiaohan gave him a side glance, didn't ask what he'd done, just told him to be careful in the future.

Then she ran off to sleep. Hao Jian was surprised, noticing Liang Xiaohan's concern for the first time, unsure what to say, but feeling a tiny happiness. Apparently, Liang Xiaohan wasn't devoid of caring; she seemed cold.

Without many words, feeling a bit tired, he washed up and went to bed, eyes closed, and by the time he opened them again, it was morning.

In the morning, he received a long message from Baldy, which he read before quietly shutting off his phone. Clearly, the events of last night deeply touched Baldy.

He thought for a moment, then replied with a brief message.

"Why say so much nonsense, we're brothers, plain and simple, you're so verbose! — Hao Jian."

Sitting in the hospital bed, Baldy saw Hao Jian's message and was weeping with emotion.

Hao Jian didn't dwell on this, after freshening up and having breakfast, he went to class.

Thus, as days went by, another one or two days soon passed, and the class trip approached.

The day before the trip, Friday, Zhang Danlin ran over to discuss some matters for the next day, then they reported a few things to Li Weiwei.

Once everything was settled, they were just waiting for the day to arrive.

Lying in bed, Hao Jian let out a long sigh; truly exhausted, but tomorrow might be even more tiring.

He thought about it and slowly drifted into dreams.
