Immediately after, since they needed to buy medication, Zhang Danlin didn't continue to delve into the matter with Hao Jian. The two of them followed the map navigation and hurried to the drugstore, then took out a pre-made list, asked the doctor, and got some medications. Since they were all non-prescription and commonly used medicines like for heatstroke and fever reduction, they bought them quickly.

Just in case, the medicines were bought in quantities suitable for a few people, fearing that an unexpected situation might leave them short handed. After purchasing the medicines and paying, Hao Jian carried the medication and walked out of the drugstore with Zhang Danlin. Because the quantity of medicine wasn't as much as things bought at the supermarket, they just needed to carry it and there was no need to ship it.

With tasks completed, they hailed a cab on the roadside and returned to school; shortly after, they arrived. Coincidentally, as soon as they got out of the car, a call came from the supermarket delivery, saying the items had arrived and needed to be picked up.

Once they picked up the items, they proactively asked Li Weiwei for the key to her single dorm room, then unlocked the door and placed the items inside.

The day's tasks were pretty much done. Since it was early, there was still night study to attend. Hao Jian sat in class for two periods of night study, and after class, went home with Liang Xiaohan.

Days passed in this cycle, and one afternoon after class, Hao Jian, as usual, walked out of the school gate alone, planning to buy some food outside because the school cafeteria food was starting to make him nauseous. Liang Xiaohan was occupied, and Fatty Hu Lai and a few others had gone to the cafeteria, so he went out alone.

Just as he stepped out of the school gate, he spotted someone unexpected. This was someone he thought he'd never see again, yet strangely enough, the more you don't want to see someone, the more likely you are to encounter them. He didn't want to run into He Yingzi because every encounter with her was never good, but unexpectedly, as soon as he exited the school gate, he saw He Yingzi leaning against a car not far from the gate.

It seemed she was waiting for him. Clearly, the instant Hao Jian exited the school gate, He Yingzi noticed him. It's highly possible that she spotted him before he saw her, looking his way.

"Get in the car!" He Yingzi said.

Hao Jian looked up at her, pretending as if he had just noticed her and asked bewilderedly, "Get in the car?"

He Yingzi nodded and added, "Yes, something to discuss, get in the car."

Discuss something? There's never a good thing when meeting with He Yingzi. The first time he was caught and thrown into detention, the second time almost misunderstood by Liang Yuwei, and the third accused falsely. Hearing her say there's something to discuss in the car, he wouldn't pay her any mind and just strode forward to leave.

But He Yingzi grabbed him and said, "What's with you guys, there's serious business to discuss. Get in the car with me!"

Hao Jian paused, glanced at her hand, and she realized, releasing her grip immediately. Hao Jian said, "What does it have to do with me? I have to attend class, don't bother me!"

He Yingzi's eyebrows furrowed slightly and she replied, "Bother you? You must be sick, old lady looking for you and you say bothering, I think you're tired of living."

No choice, from the day they met, Hao Jian knew she was a hot-tempered woman who spoke without restraint. Despite her decent looks, her mouth resembled that of a shrew. He just continued to walk away, completely ignoring her. Though uncertain why she sought him, it couldn't be a good thing, so it's best not to engage.

But just as he took a few steps forward, He Yingzi suddenly lowered her voice and said, "Aren't you afraid your friends will be in trouble?"

Friends in trouble? Hao Jian instantly halted in his tracks, taken aback. Seeing his hesitance, He Yingzi's face showed a smile, confirming her suspicion was correct. She approached Hao Jian, pointed at him and said, "If you don't want your buddies, Baldy and them to get into trouble, you'd better come sit in the car and talk, otherwise I can't say what might happen."

He Yingzi said this with an expression of self-assumed consequences.

Hao Jian froze for a moment, stunned when she mentioned his friends, and again when she mentioned Baldy. She knows there's a connection between him and Baldy, and it's not a shallow one? He was surprised.

Hao Jian rolled his eyes at her and said, "Don't talk nonsense. Since you're in this position, knowing certain things isn't difficult. Since you know about Baldy's relationship with me, it's obvious where you got the information from. Do I really need to ask?"

He Yingzi had originally thought that after uncovering some of Hao Jian's hidden identities, she could flaunt it in front of him. But before she could finish speaking, Hao Jian shut her down, leaving her no chance to shine.

Hao Jian rolled his eyes at her again and said, "Spit it out already. You were all serious before, and if you don't speak, I'm getting out of the car. I have things to do; I'm not as free as you."
