Hao Jian hurried over in a rush, not really knowing what had specifically happened. He just thought about rescuing He Yingzi. Since she was already fine now, he could just teach these guys a lesson and let them go, without bothering too much about it.

"Ugh!" He Yingzi sighed and gave Hao Jian a sidelong glance.

He Yingzi felt the wound on her hand, and it seemed to have split open from her sudden movement, causing pain. So she stopped. At that moment, Hao Jian came over, suddenly tore a corner off his clothes, and asked her to crouch down.

"Don't move, I'll bind your wound." Hao Jian said.

He Yingzi didn't know why she didn't move at that moment. Then Hao Jian crouched down and used the torn piece of cloth to bandage the wound on her hand. But this was only temporary, to prevent bleeding; it couldn't be bound for too long, as it would hinder blood circulation, so treating the wound was still necessary.

After bandaging the wound, Hao Jian turned to leave. He just didn't want to see a beauty disappear into thin air, so he came to help He Yingzi; otherwise, he wouldn't have come. Since the troublemakers were chased away, he had no other business here and naturally chose to leave. He didn't want to stay around He Yingzi, feeling like it constantly brings bad luck.

Who knew, as he was about to leave, He Yingzi called after him, saying, "Hey! You're just leaving like that? I'm injured, do you have the heart to leave?"

He Yingzi gave him a look, saying, "Didn't think you could run so fast. If it wasn't for my wit, guessing that you saw me on the road and came after me, returning the same way to find you, I probably wouldn't have found you."

Hao Jian was taken aback, not expecting that this woman who seemed clueless about everything else was actually quite clever in this matter, leaving him a bit surprised, and he didn't say anything.
