"Time to eat cake!" Fatty said, looking like the thing he was most excited about had finally come.

He walked out, discreetly shut the room door, and discovered someone was already out before him. Although she had plenty of cream on her face, Hao Jian recognized her as He Qiqi immediately.

"You came out too!" Hao Jian greeted.

He Qiqi, surprised to see Hao Jian there, nodded and responded, "Yeah, they went overboard. If I didn't come out, I'd be covered in cake from head to toe."

Hao Jian nodded, agreeing. With He Qiqi's shy and pretty nature, she either went unnoticed or became the center of attention. If the latter happened, everyone would attack her, and she'd need a miracle to escape unscathed. Her meek personality wasn't suited for cake fights, she couldn't win, or even dodge cakes effectively. Coming out early was a wise choice. Hao Jian admired her.

Even so, she still couldn't escape misfortune, with plenty of cake smeared on her face. Hao Jian thought it was unsightly for such a beautiful girl to be covered in cake, so he took out a tissue from his pocket and handed it to her, saying, "Here, wipe it off."

He Qiqi took the tissue and said, "Thanks."

She started wiping her face with the tissue, but without a mirror she could only clean roughly. Some areas were hard to sense or reach. Hao Jian saw this and took the tissue from her hand to help clean her face.

It was a normal action, helping her wipe what she couldn't reach— nothing unusual. Yet for some reason, perhaps because He Qiqi was too shy or hadn't had many close encounters with guys, as Hao Jian wiped, her face turned red.
