Chapter 1823: Chapter 1680: Fiery Heart!

Panic swept through the entire city!

Sky City had always been stable and solemn, yet who would have thought these man-eating Sky Demons would suddenly appear within the city!

The 50,000 Imperial Guards could barely hold on for much longer; Yu Tian seemed intent on leaving no escape for the Totem Goddess Daiqing. The mad demon descended from high altitude, stomping fiercely on the Solar Eclipse Array’s barrier.

The barrier shattered underfoot, a wave of destruction spreading from Sky City’s center in all directions, obliterating all remaining structures, turning more innocent city dwellers into dust.

"Come out now; I will return your arm, and you will still be my most loyal servant." Yu Tian sneered, spitting the mangled arm from his mouth.

The arm was reduced to bone; Yu Tian was completely taunting the Totem Goddess Daiqing.

Daiqing stayed within the barrier, filled with Red Fire Day’s flames, knowing Yu Tian would not dare invade recklessly, allowing her to seize the chance to heal herself.

"What, changed your mind? Too late for regret now, this Heavenly Palace is already mine, or rather, it has long been mine." Yu Tian said mockingly against the barrier.

His deep yellow eyes scanned the Totem Believer Women of the Solar Eclipse Array, his predatory gaze making the senior believers tremble with fear.

Daiqing was trying her best to heal herself and absorb the energy of Divine Dew.

Watching her actions, Yu Tian continued with disdain: "Don’t forget, who made you the Totem Goddess? Besides, even as Totem Goddess, you’re not as powerful as the predecessor."

The Totem Goddess Daiqing glared angrily at the Ancestral Sky Demon, Yu Tian. Indeed, he had given her the position, but before then, she hadn’t known Yu Tian was the Ancestral Sky Demon disguised in human skin. "I’m shaping your heart," the Human Mother said seriously.

"Shaping my heart?" Chu Mu was taken aback.

His heart had been shattered by Yu Tian’s claw; normally, it could be repaired through healing.

Yet, with the inexplicable infusion from the Human Mother, Chu Mu found his heart transforming from its original form into a vivid red Flame Heart.

Chu Mu’s heart was ultimately a Demonheart, a combination of human and nightmare demon heart, and with the immense infusion of Red Fire Day energy, Chu Mu’s heart surged with an incredibly volatile energy.

The heart is the conduit for the body’s blood; as Chu Mu used Soul Sense to examine himself, he suddenly discovered the blood flowing from his Flame Heart to various parts of his body resembled lava!

Lava blood??

Chu Mu was stunned as well.

This lava blood had almost absorbed all the Red Fire Day energy gathered in the Solar Eclipse Array into his body.

Chu Mu didn’t mind gaining greater strength; the issue was, this power was meant for infusion into the Heavenly Boundary Monument. Without these energies, the Heavenly Boundary Monument would collapse!

"Have you gone mad?" Chu Mu questioned.

The energy is the very force supporting the World; if it is infused into oneself, then the entire World would collapse!

"I’m not crazy," the Human Mother calmly said, "The Ancestral Sky Demon was already frightful in power even eons ago, comparable to the Ten Thousand Year Roulette-level Creatures, and after lurking in the Heavenly Palace for these many years, its prowess has grown much stronger. Right now, it’s nearly invincible!"

Chu Mu looked at the silhouette of that Ancestral Sky Demon within Sky City with a composed expression.

The demon qi and dark energy emanating from the Ancestral Sky Demon enshrouded this entire Human Land completely, with flocks of Sky Demons flying across the sky everywhere.

Thousands of Imperial Guards were utterly powerless before it, and even several Undying-level Heavenly Commanders from the Totem Temple and Roulette Temple, whose strengths rivaled the Dragon Girl’s, were easily defeated by it.

Totem Goddess Daiqing had an arm eaten by it, and the Roulette Phoenix Ancestor, facing the concerted assault of numerous era’s strongest figures, likewise found itself in peril, as the Good and Evil Queen also made her move at this moment.

The Human Land was enveloped by a low-pressure cyclone, and above the cyclone appeared space fissures and vortices.

These fissures and space vortices were the prelude to a Black Hole; it wouldn’t be long before the Sky over the Human Land turned like that of Yin Valley in the past, with everything being sucked into a Black Hole.

"Kill it first," the Human Mother stated.

With Sky City being seized by the Sky Demons, any salvation was mere talk.

Chu Mu nodded, not saying more.

This was Chu Mu’s second time embracing the energy of the Red Fire Daylight; compared to the first time, although the energy of the Red Fire Daylight was more domineering this time, Chu Mu’s body naturally assimilated it.

His heart connected to his bloodstream throughout his body; this time, the Human Mother practically infused all the energy that the Sky City Array absorbed during the entire Solar Eclipse process into Chu Mu’s body.
