Chapter 1807 I guess it is over, eh?
Whoosh
Before Vyriana could even fall to the ground, another arrow was shot, already prepared to hit her. Noticing that, Vyriana kicked in the air to change her direction mid-air, but the arrow once again changed its trajectory and moved towards her.
BOOOOM
Another explosion was heard. This time, however, Vyriana wasn’t taken by surprise. Even though she was attacked, when the smoke and dust from the explosion cleared up, a
silhouette was seen.
It was Vyriana.
Her palm, which had grabbed the arrow at the last moment, had disintegrated, and there were burnt marks all over her arm and body. She, however, had a wide grin on her face as she stared at Zyros, her eyes shimmering with excitement.
“The same attack wouldn’t work again, but you knew that already, didn’t you?”
Vyriana’s loud and delightful voice echoed throughout the battlefield.
Zyros stared at the madwoman in front of him and was taken aback.
To think that, instead of screaming or at least frowning in pain from having her hand disintegrated by the explosion, she was laughing instead.
It was a sight that reminded him of something…
That monster who was walking towards him with a wide grin when one of his eyes was disintegrated and the flesh on his face was burnt.
Zyros stared at Nux, his body trembling when he saw the grin on his face as he was staring at his wife.
Just what kind of couple is this…?”
He couldn’t help but question.
He, however, wasn’t given too much time to think,
He could sense that the woman was staring at him with a merciless smile on her face. Her hand had already grown back.
Yes, his energy no longer stopped her from regenerating.
The woman had broken through and was now a Primordial.
Zyros’s Bow hummed with energy,
“That wasn’t the best you had, was it?”
Vyriana questioned with a smirk.
Again, Zyros didn’t reply. With a flick of his hand, he drew his bow back and shot an
arrow.
Whoosh
His arrow then hummed with energy and suddenly,
Whoosh Whoosh Whoosh
Thousands of arrows appeared around the main arrow, all rushing towards Vyriana at the same time, targeting every part of her body.
Nux, who saw this, raised his eyebrow,
‘He didn’t use this skill against me.’
Soon, however, he lost his interest. He could tell that this skill wasn’t as powerful as he had expected.
Before these arrows could even reach Vyriana, they paused mid-air.
Just one look from Vyriana was enough to stop these arrows.
This was the manifestation of her physical strength. The ability to control reality using her physical might alone. It was somewhat similar to how Nux was using his ‘will’ to affect his surroundings; Vyriana’s version, however, was tamer and more controlled. In the end, all the arrows that had frozen in the air were crushed into pieces.
Zyros, however, wasn’t surprised that his attack was blocked. Rather, it felt like he was already expecting it.
Using Voidstep, he teleported to different points and shot around 15 arrows, all coming at Vyriana from different directions, and it wasn’t a normal attack either.
It was Piercing Reality.
An attack that, if connected successfully, would end this battle right here and now. Not just that, Zyros had shot his arrows in such a way that even if Vyriana tried to dodge the attack, the other arrows coming from different directions would still hit her.
It was an attack that couldn’t be dodged. Neither blocking it was possible, since if it as much as touched Vyriana’s limbs, her powers would be sealed.
Well, at least that is what should have happened,
Vyriana, however, just punched.
BOOOOM
The energy from her punch burst out. Her Dragon’s might, combined with her Absolute Strength, overpowered all the arrows that were aimed at her.
The arrows that could pierce reality wobbled and fell to the ground powerlessly, disappearing into nothingness.
Seeing this sight, Nux shook his head in disappointment.
‘She is too strong. He isn’t a match.”
Nux knew what sort of monster Vyriana was. He had trained with this madwoman for thousands of years, and he was familiar with her battle style. Because of that, Nux knew that the Dragon was barely trying right now.
Zyros was trying. He was using everything he had in his arsenal, but in the end, Zyros was mercenary. He was strong because his allies filled in his weak points. Right now, however, against a monster like Vyriana, who was used to fighting alone and had next to no weaknesses he could exploit,
He was helpless.
Not to mention Vyriana was a Primordial Dragon that belonged to a High-Level World
and had an Absolute Law,
Be it the Bloodline or the Law,
Zyros was outclassed in every possible way.
And honestly, Nux wasn’t the only one who realized it.
Zyros could see it as well.
However, there was nothing he could do but fight and fight desperately. After all, he
wanted to dic.
“Tsk, can’t believe I was injured by something like you.”
Vyriana snorted, clearly disappointed in herself.
She honestly wanted to use this battle to test her strength, but seeing the disparity in
their strength, she could tell that her plan wouldn’t work.
“Whatever.”
In the end, the woman snorted, and then,
She moved.
Zyros tried to retreat.
Using Voidstep to try and teleport again, but the Dragon had already appeared right in
front of him, not giving him a chance to escape.
All it took was a single step to cover the distance between the two of them. Her speed
defied all logic.
Honestly, the current Vyriana was extremely similar to Nux, the only difference was that, unlike Nux, she had perfect control over her body.
Yes, she was an even more monstrous existence for someone like Zyros. Before Zyros could react, her fist moved. It wasn’t like he couldn’t see the attack. Actually, to his enhanced senses, the punch could even be considered slow. However, his body wasn’t as fast as his senses, and he couldn’t stop it.
BOOOOOOOM
The punch connected with Zyros’s chest, and he was sent flying.
His core shattered into countless pieces, the light inside it flickering violently.
“Khawwrkkk!!”
The Etheryn coughed, his entire body trembling from the impact. Once again, his body, that had just started glowing with a radiant blue hue, turned into a hollow, lifeless shell.
The Etheryn wanted to give up. He knew resistance was futile, but then,
“I guess it is over, eh?”
He heard Nux’s playful voice. Using all his power to turn his head, he saw Nux walking
towards him, and in an instant, his body trembled.
No…
He couldn’t give up.
He couldn’t return to that hell again!
With sheer willpower, the Etheryn stood up, his body still trembling nonstop, his eyes,
however, were full of determination.
He saw Vyriana rushing towards him, and as his last-ditch effort, he used his trump card.
Astral Anchoring.
