Chapter 1795 Don’t expect them to return.
“So…
When are you going to close it?”
Azriel, who was sitting inside Aeliana’s room, questioned after a while. His eyes were currently being covered with some red mist that Aeliana had created. Of course, a trick like this wouldn’t really work on Azriel; he just had no interest in seeing what Aeliana was trying to hide.
“I-I will… soon…”
Aeliana replied. Her face couldn’t get any redder.
She only left her energy inside Nux’s body out of instinct; she didn’t expect to see… this…
The moans she heard… the things she saw…
Even now, when Nux and Shadow lay on each other, not moving, she still couldn’t keep her eyes away.
Currently, Aeliana had covered her eyes with her hands. Of course, Azriel could see that his daughter was seeing everything from the gap within her fingers. Honestly, the sight was practically adorable, but at the same time, as a father, he was worried.
After all, the last thing his daughter should be doing right now was secretly peeking at her future husband. He wanted to try and convince her to get rid of her energy and let. that man have a bit of privacy, but his daughter wasn’t listening.
‘I can’t believe it…’
In the end, Azriel just sighed.
He even tried to read the room, but his daughter was simply being too adorable for him to leave right now. He didn’t want to miss this.
In the end, he just hugged Aeliana. Embarrassed, the little girl just buried her red face in her father’s lap, imagining things she shouldn’t be imagining.
Back in the room Nux had temporarily created, Nux smiled gently as he felt the woman’s soft body on top of his.
‘My Goddess.
He muttered as his theory about Shadow being the Heart of his Universe and its first Life Form became stronger and stronger.
“You feel… happy…”
Suddenly, Shadow spoke as she raised her head, looking into his eyes.
Just like other women, she could sense his emotions as well.
“How can I not be? My adorable Shadow is in my arms right now.”
Nux replied with a smile.
“…mm.”
Shadow didn’t say anything and buried her face in Nux’s chest again.
Nux, however, could see that the woman was blushing. Well, or at least something similar to that because the current Shadow was acting exactly like how Lane would when she was extremely embarrassed.
Nux chuckled. He wanted to caress her body, but right now, he knew she was too tired, so he didn’t want to stimulate her even further.
This was also the reason he didn’t tell her about everything he had found out about.
The woman was tired. Even though she couldn’t sleep, it didn’t mean she wouldn’t be mentally drained. Shadow needed some time in silence to recover, and Nux decided to be here with her while she did that.
After all, by sensing her emotions, he could feel how calming his presence was to this
woman.
All the doubts she had before had finally cased up. Of course, now, Shadow could truly close her eyes and, for a little moment, not think about anything and enjoy Nux’s presence.
Inside Blade’s Haven Mercenary Hall, a woman walked in. The moment the man at the counter saw the woman, his expression changed.
“Astaria!”
He greeted; he seemed quite surprised to see the woman.
Astaria nodded as she walked towards the counter.
“This is from the last mission we took.
Now that makes us Elite Mercenaries, correct?”
She questioned.
The man was shocked when he heard those words. However, knowing Astaria’s attitude, he knew he needed to answer quickly.
“Let me verify the contents.”
He spoke as he started looking through the things Astaria had brought and tallied them with the demands of the mission.
Two minutes later, he nodded.
“The mission is completed.”
Astaria stared at the man, and the man chuckled.
“Yes, that makes all the members of your party “The ones who actually do all the work
and deserve to be rewarded, Elite Mercenaries.
I will have your badges ready within two days!”
The man nodded, and when he felt like it was the right moment to ask this question,
he did,
“So where are the others?”
“They are busy.”
Astaria answered without any change in her expression. The man, however, could read between the lines.
From what he knew, Valhelm had taken his entire party when he went after these
women….
All five Primordials…
Even if these women were exceptionally strong cultivators, it wasn’t difficult to
predict what had happened.
The man could tell where those women were “busy, and honestly, it was quite a pity.
After all, he wanted a taste of that as well…
Should I talk to Valhelm? My relation with him isn’t that bad… I would only need to do
him a few favors…
And…
He would get bored of them eventually, no?
Sharing won’t be tha-‘
The man’s thoughts suddenly froze as, suddenly,
“Right, I forgot.”
Astaria, who was about to walk out, paused. She turned around and threw something
at the man.
Instinctively, the man caught it. However, the moment he realized what it was,
“AAAhhhhh!!”
He screamed as his eyes widened in horror. His body jerked in terror, and the ‘thing’
fell on the floor…
“The hell? Why are you screaming like a bitc- AAhhhhh!!”
“Huh?”
“What is that?”
Soon, the entire Hall’s attention was on the ‘thing’ Astaria had thrown at the man.
“Is that… a head…?”
A mercenary called out.
“A head…?”
“Wait…
T-That…
Isn’t that Gragor…?”
“The Ironfang…?”
“H-He’s Gragor…?” “Wasn’t he a… Primordial…?”
“How did he end up like this…?”
Some mercenaries wondered. However, the ones who knew what had happened
before were able to connect the dots…
The man standing behind the counter was one of those few.
With trembling body, he turned towards Astaria and saw the woman staring at him
with her piercing eyes,
“He and his party members were being quite bothersome.
Don’t expect them to return.”
Saying those words, Astaria walked out, and before leaving,
“I will be back to get our Elite Badges in three days.”
