Chapter 1777 Fuck, I fell hard, didn’t I?
“So you are telling me…
You fought against five Primordials… and won…?”
Aeliana, who heard the entire story, couldn’t believe what she was hearing.
“Well, I did get rid of one of them with a sneak attack, so it was essentially four, not five.”
Nux corrected, and Aeliana just stared at this man in disbelief.
To think she would ever hear a Divine Stage Cultivator say that he defeated five
Primordial Level Cultivators in a battle…
And this man even dared to correct her that he actually killed one of them in one move, so it was ‘essentially four, not five.’
Essentially four, her ass!
These were Primordials they were talking about!
Primordials! Cultivators an entire phase above him!
There were barely twenty cultivators at this level in the entirety of the Ancestral Order! If Nux said he took out five of them all on his own, didn’t that mean this man had grown enough to take on a fourth of the Order’s total strength!?
Yes, Aeliana knew Nux was different, he was used to breaking what was supposed to be the ‘standard, and honestly, despite her brain constantly telling her it was impossible, somewhere in her heart, she knew this man would be capable of holding off on his own against a Primordial as a Divine Stage Cultivator.
With the absurdities Nux had performed thus far, she did somewhat expect this…
But…
Holding off on his own and outright defeating Primordials were two different things… Not to mention killing them with one single punch…
This made no sense at all….
Not a single entity should be able to do this…
Not to mention the Primordials he fought were mostly from Middle Level Worlds, and one of them even came from a High Level World! Those Primordials were much stronger than Primordials of Yrniel.
If Nux could take five of them on his own…
Then… doesn’t it mean that if he was up against the Primordials of Yrniel, he could probably face more…?
Just thinking of that sight made Aeliana lose her mind, and Nux, who could read her mind like an open book, just chuckled,
“Hehe- You are greatly underestimating the student you taught, Aeliana~”
Aeliana, however, didn’t like his reaction and glared at him with piercing cold eyes. Once again, she grabbed the poor man’s face, her fingers sinking into his cheeks, and,
“You dare act cheeky when you came back all battered up!?”
“I…”
“What if something happened to you!?
Luckily, that man attacked Vyriana, who stood next to you, but what if he had targeted someone else!?
What would you have done then!?
You come out and, despite knowing that you have next to no control over your body, you dare to lure the enemy, that you know are much stronger than anyone you have faced thus far, into a secluded, empty world, giving them a perfect opportunity to ambush you, and you did it just because that fool was eyeing your wives!?
You had thousands of ways to kill that man without having to get involved with the Primordials, didn’t you!?
Why didn’t you use that!? Why did you risk yours and your wives’ lives!?
What were you thinking!?”
Aeliana shouted, her crimson eyes glimmering in rage and… fear. Tears threatened to fall out of her eyes, but before they could, the Vampire wiped them out of existence.
“I…”
Nux didn’t know what to say.
Why did he do it?
It was because he wanted to test his strength against the Primordials. He had spent millions of years watching Umbrasol’s history. In the eyes of a High Level World, Primordials were never a big deal, and Nux’s thoughts were influenced by that thinking. Even for him, the Primordials were not a big deal…
Well… that is when he is inside his Universe. Outside, Primordials were still a threat. A threat he couldn’t take lightly, and his battle with the Primordials proved it.
For the major chunk of the battle, he was losing.
Yes, those Primordials could never kill him because he could simply enter his Universe if he was overwhelmed, but…
Nux, out of all the people, should know that these beings were anything but simple.
Sure, he could escape whenever he wanted to…
But what if he wasn’t even given a chance to escape in the first place?
What if beings at this level decided to attack him sneakily?
What if… these beings decided to target his wives instead…?
Nux also knew that it wasn’t entirely impossible for some of these beings to stop him from entering his Universe. Nux knew there were beings out there capable of doing this.
He should have been more careful.
He should have paid more attention.
“I… I wwas wrwong”
He apologized.
Aeliana, however, wasn’t going to leave the matter.
“I have decided.”
She suddenly spoke as she released Nux’s face.
“From now on, you are going to stay with me.”
“W-What…?”
Nux was taken aback.
“I wanted you to go out and explore the Universe, but I should have expected a reckless
man like you to do something like this.
It was my mistake.
You were hurt because I didn’t think things through, so from now on,
You are not leaving”
“But the War-“
“It doesn’t matter.
I cannot leave you alone.”
Aeliana replied, her eyes staring at Nux as if he were her possession.
“You will not leave me, not until you can defeat me.”
“But tha-“
“What? You took down five Primordials on your own, didn’t you?
This shouldn’t be hard enough for you, no?”
Aeliana said with a smile.
That smile, however, sent shivers down Nux’s spine.
It… it was a look he had seen before…
Those eyes…
Those eyes were a combination of Vyriana’s craziness, Amaya’s possessiveness, and
Astaria’s battle intent.
Gulp
Nux gulped. Seeing the Vampire looking at him with those eyes, he was intimidated.
It was a normal reaction, and Nux would be perfectly fine if that was all he felt when he
stared at the Vampire.
But….
What freaked him out was the fact that more than being intimidated…
Those eyes…
They turned him on.
‘Fuck, I fell hard, didn’t I?”
