Chapter 1709: I was standing behind you in the line.
“She may be smiling, but she isn’t any different from her daughter when it comes to such things.”
“H-Huh?”
Obviously, Arshia didn’t understand what the man said.
“I am saying that she is a dangerous woman. If you hit on her husband, she will find you and kill you.”
“W-When did I flirt with you?”
“Exactly.” Nux nodded as he leaned away.
“Huh?”

Arshia was still confused.
Then suddenly, Riona stepped forward, holding Nux’s arm in a way that it rested on her cleavage, making sure to claim her husband before any vixen eyed her.
“You seem quite desperate,” Riona spoke as she glanced at Arshia.
Then, she looked around and sighed with a sympathetic look on her face.
“I guess I cannot blame you. Living in this environment must be difficult.”
Riona’s face then turned cold and, “But don’t shoot your shot on him. He belongs to me.”
“Yeah yeah, no one wants your man, woman.” Arshia waved her hand.
“Now that hurts.”
Nux pouted.
Arshia, who glanced at him, quickly shook her head, “I-I didn’t mean it that wa-“
“It is okay. I was just teasing you.” Nux chuckled.
“O-Oh…”
Arshia didn’t know how to react; for some reason, her face had turned red.
The rest of the people who saw her like that were surprised to see Arshia act that way. Nux, however, simply leaned forward again and, “Jokes aside, I actually needed your help.”
“W-What can I do for you?”
“Special Missions. A friend told me to come to you if I wanted to do them.”
“Ah, Special Missions. You came to the right person indeed.” Arshia nodded.
“Actually, you need to do a few normal missions before you are eligible to do the Special Missions. You also need someone from Fortune’s Call to vouch for you, but you don’t have to worry about that. I’ll do that for you. For now, you just need to complete a few missions. If you are in a hurry, then I can help you find some easier missions. You can complete them and be eligible for Special Missions. What do you say?”
“You would do that?”
“Of course, that is my job.”
“You are quite hardworking. I knew I came to the right person.” Nux smiled.
“Hahaha~ You can come to me anytime you need help. Oh, you still didn’t tell me your name.”
“I am Nux Leander.”
“Nux Leander, huh…” Arshia repeated the name. It was as if she was burning it into her memory.
“And I am Riona ‘Leander.’ The same last name as his. In our world, the wives take their husband’s last name.”
“O-Oh.” Arshia nodded.
‘Arshia Leander… That doesn’t sound too bad…’ she thought as she glanced at Nux.
Yes, she completely ignored the woman standing next to him, something Riona didn’t like one bit.
“Nux.” She called out.
Nux turned towards her.
“You said there is a place where you can challenge anyone to a duel, no?” Riona was glaring at Arshia when she said those words, and Arshia, who realized it, felt her body tremble.
“A-Anyways, I am Arshia Markem. I will find a few missions for you; please give me a few minutes.”
Sensing that her life was in danger, the woman quickly changed the topic. Then, she pointed in a certain direction and, “Please sit there, I will come to you.”
“Thank you so much. You were a big help.”
“Of course!”
Arshia nodded as she quickly stood up, wanting to leave. However, before she could, a man standing behind Nux and Riona called her, “Arshia.”
He was in the queue.
“I am working. It might take 30 minutes, so please wait.”
“Wai-“
Arshia, however, just said those words as she walked away, not listening to the man.
Nux just smiled as he and Riona then walked out of the counter, heading toward the seats Arshia had pointed at. As they were walking, Riona, who was holding Nux’s arm with both her hands, suddenly pinched him with all her strength.
“Ouch!”
Nux groaned in pain as he glanced at his wife.
“Why were you flirting with her?” Riona questioned as she narrowed her eyes.
“What flirting? I was only being nice like you all told me to.”
“That was just being nice…?” Riona raised her eyebrow.
“Of course. Did you see me flirt at all?”
“Did you not see her reaction? She was falling all over you! It was as if you were using your Incubus Powers!”
“You think she would react that calmly if I had used it?”
“…”
Riona turned silent.
“Anyways, we got what we wanted, didn’t we?”
“I still don’t like how you flirted with her.”
“I just talked, woman.”
“…”
Riona had no words. She was actually reconsidering their decision. She had forgotten how frustrating the playful Nux was; he was charming women left and right! How could he not see that three-eyed woman falling all over him? She even left her counter to help him; what sort of employee does that!?
‘Tsk, but I guess it does get the work done.’
In the end, Riona calmed herself down. Also, seeing Nux smile like this was something that made her happy, so even if he attracted a few women in the process, it was okay.
‘As long as I get rid of them.’
Yes, Riona was having dangerous thoughts.
“Oi.”
While the couple was bantering with each other, someone called.
“Hm?”
Nux and Riona turned around.
“Do we know you?” Nux questioned. He couldn’t recognize the man.
“I was standing behind you in the line.”
“Uhh… and?”
Nux tilted his head.
Did he want a pat on his back for following the rules or something?
“Now I need to wait 30 minutes before I can get the mission I want.”
The man spoke, and Nux’s frown deepened.
Why the hell was this man telling him his sob story? Did he mistakenly give out the impression that he cared?
Then suddenly, the man smiled, “Now that I have to wait because of you, don’t you think you should compensate somehow?” The man spoke as he glanced at Riona.
