Supreme Elixir God
Chapter 451: Yu Immortal Law
Seeing that Xu Kun did not speak and instead gave tacit approval, the burly young man immediately stepped forward, walking to stand in front of Ji Chen.
He was noticeably taller than Ji Chen, and now standing before him, his gaze scanned downward in a commanding manner, his expression cold as he said, “Kid, if there’s blame, it can only be blamed on yourself for not knowing your place. You dared to offend Brother Xu; you’re truly seeking death.”
“Buzz!”
The instant after his voice fell, an uncommon aura erupted from the burly young man’s body. Though not exceedingly overwhelming, it had nonetheless reached the First Layer of the Emperor Realm.
“Boom!”
His eyes flashed with a brilliance, and without hesitation, his sturdy arm thrust towards Ji Chen. His tightly clenched fist aimed at Ji Chen’s chest, intending to knock him back on the spot and seize him directly.
“Overestimating yourself.”
However, in face of the burly young man’s sudden attack, Ji Chen merely snorted coldly.
He showed no sign of dodging and instead reached out his own large hand.
“Bang!”
In the blink of an eye, Ji Chen’s palm directly caught the opponent’s fist.
The massive force was instantly halted, causing the burly young man’s arm to tremble, while an expression of surprise immediately appeared on his face.
Clearly, he hadn’t expected Ji Chen to dare catch his attack barehanded, much less actually succeed.
“Hmm?”
Moreover, when the burly young man tried to retract his arm to retreat, he suddenly found Ji Chen’s hand tightly gripping his fist, unable to be freed no matter how much force he applied.
This situation made the burly young man’s heart skip, signaling something was amiss.
Simultaneously, he realized the strength of Ji Chen, the white-clothed young man before him, was far stronger than imagined.
“Crack!”
“Crack!”
“Crack!”
However, Ji Chen paid no mind to what thoughts were running through his opponent’s mind.
His palm exerted a slight force, and as he gathered and squeezed, a crisp sound rang out.
“Ah!”
The burly young man let out a miserable scream, able to feel his hand bone deforming, forcibly squeezed and broken by Ji Chen.
“Bang!”
Ji Chen kicked him away, his eyes coldly speaking, “With such meager skills, you dare try to teach me a lesson? Go back and cultivate for a few hundred years more.”
“Ah!”
The burly young man was kicked flying, his body crashing heavily onto the ground in the distance.
The pain from the fractured hand bone made him roll around in agony; tears uncontrollably streamed from his eyes, his look filled with bloodshot veins, and his face contorted.
“Brother Chen, are you alright?”
Xu Kun and the others were all startled, hastening to help, lifting the burly young man from the ground.
“Get out of the way, don’t block the path.”
At the same time, Ji Chen, accompanied by Yao Qian, approached, wanting to pass through from there.
“You!”
Xu Kun’s face immediately turned much uglier, yet he held back from making a move.
Since among them, the burly young man was undoubtedly the finest, and even he was powerless against Ji Chen, it was inevitable his own attempt would meet the same fate.
To know the trend is to be a hero.
In the end, Xu Kun and the others could only make way, watching Ji Chen and Yao Qian leave.
“Brother Xu, who really is this person named Ji Chen?”
“Even Brother Chen is no match for him; it seems his power is much stronger than we imagined.”
Everyone furrowed their brows, but inside they were relieved, grateful they hadn’t rushed to act earlier; otherwise, they surely would’ve been the ones injured instead.
“No matter who he is, if he dares oppose me, he won’t rest easily in Yanxian City!”
Xu Kun’s face kept its somber look, watching Ji Chen and Yao Qian depart as his eyes flashed with a cold glint.
…
“Xu Kun, narrow-minded as he is, just having been taught a lesson by this young master won’t rest quietly; trouble likely awaits him sooner or later.”
Before a tower building, the two arrived, as Yao Qian recalled what had happened earlier, her brow furrowed.
Regardless, Xu Kun’s brother, Xu Yan, is a core disciple of the Profound Celestial Pavilion; should he intervene, the situation may become far more troubling.
“No worries, I don’t provoke if others don’t provoke me. If he’s smart, he’ll take it gracefully; otherwise, should he dare start trouble again, another beating it shall be.” Ji Chen shrugged, understanding Yao Qian’s heart’s worry.
But truthfully, if he dared oppose Bai Shengrong, why fear a mere core disciple of the Profound Celestial Pavilion?
Hearing Ji Chen, since he’d already spoken this way, Yao Qian let the thought go, as she looked toward the front tower and said, “This is the legendary ‘Immortal Spirit Tower.’ It’s said that after Yu Immortal transformed into human form, he sat here observing the heavens and earth for a century, eventually attaining enlightenment.”
“Immortal Spirit Tower…”
Ji Chen’s eyes narrowed slightly, able to sense that the Law and Power of the Dao here was evidently much richer than in other places within the manor, “Let’s go up and take a look.”
With that said, he stepped forward first, moving with Yao Qian towards the Immortal Spirit Tower.
It’s a place similar to an observation platform, the tower standing nine stories tall, open to the wind on all sides, enclosed merely by some wooden railings.
Soon, Ji Chen and Yao Qian found themselves on the ninth floor of the Immortal Spirit Tower.
Looking down from here, the entire manor was clearly visible, the view indeed superb.
At present, besides themselves, many young talents had already arrived here, either to enjoy the scenery or sitting in the tower, attempting to comprehend the Law and True Meaning of the Great Dao permeating this place.
The two did not idle either, finding a relatively comfortable spot and sitting down, both closing their eyes and releasing their Divine Thought to attempt sensing the special power of the place.
Soon, Ji Chen entered an enlightened state.
The Laws here were profoundly mysterious, conveying a sense of warmth, and as Divine Thought blended with them, Ji Chen could warmly feel a power seem to be nourishing him, making him feel rejuvenated, as if fatigue had vanished.
Yu Immortal Law.
According to legend, this Law originates from the elm trees within the Immortal Spirit Manor.
Left behind by Yu Immortal when he achieved enlightenment.
Later generations have named this Law.
Throughout history, countless cultivators have come here, all attempting to comprehend the Yu Immortal Law, but those truly able to do so in millions of years have been only a mere few, truly countable on one hand.
The last person who comprehended the Yu Immortal Law dates back over a hundred thousand years, quite ancient indeed.
