Chapter 71: Beautiful Dresses and Beautiful Girls
Beautiful Dresses and Beautiful Girls
"Little Brother, don’t pay attention to them. All of them are scammers. Most of the things are fake," Violet gently warned Victor.
Her purple eyes were serious.
She had seen this many times before.
"Hmm, I know," Victor smiled lightly and nodded.
He naturally knew that most of these pills, skills, and spiritual weapons were fake.
If they were real, they would have been robbed long ago.
They wouldn’t have their turn to sell on the street.
This is exactly like those street markets back on Earth, Victor thought to himself.
Except here they’re selling fake magical items instead of fake Rolexes.
He almost laughed at the comparison.
Lane and Skyla felt very fresh about all these things.
Watching here for a while.
Watching there for a while.
Their eyes sparkled with excitement as they explored the market.
Lane’s black hair bounced with each step.
Her black eyes darted from stall to stall.
Skyla’s blonde hair swayed gently.
Her green eyes were filled with wonder.
"Oh! Young Master, look at this!" Skyla exclaimed, pointing at a stall selling colorful ribbons.
Victor smiled.
"Buy it if you like it."
Lane was drawn to a jewelry stall.
She picked up a bracelet and tried it on.
Her slender wrist looked beautiful with the jade bracelet.
She seemed to like it very much.
The bracelet seller was an old woman, and she smiled when she looked at Lane.
"Miss, would you like a bracelet?"
Victor looked at it.
These bracelets were just made of ordinary jade.
Without aura or spiritual mana.
They were just fancy ordinary bracelets.
At this time, the old woman who was selling the bracelet smiled and said, "This bracelet is very suitable for this girl. But this is just an ordinary bracelet. Twenty copper coins will be enough!"
Her voice was warm and kind.
"Um, grandma, I don’t have copper coins. Will this work?" At this time, Victor came forward and said as he took out a gold coin.
The old woman looked at Victor with a little shock and said quickly, "Young Master... I don’t need a gold coin."
Her hands trembled slightly.
Victor smiled and said, "Take it. Consider it a gift!"
His golden eyes were warm.
The old woman’s eyes widened.
"Thank you, Young Master! Thank you, Young Master! I wish the Young Master and the young lady will be together forever and grow old together!" The old woman quickly thanked him.
Her voice was filled with gratitude.
Lane blushed suddenly after hearing the old woman’s words.
Her cheeks turned a lovely shade of pink.
She looked at Victor with adoring eyes.
"Young Master is so generous," Skyla said softly, a hint of playful jealousy in her voice.
Her green eyes sparkled.
Victor chuckled. "Don’t worry, I’ll buy you something too."
"Oh? Then I’ll hold you to that, Young Master," Skyla smiled sweetly.
Her heart fluttered with happiness.
Violet, Ruby, and Sasha watched the exchange with amused smiles.
"Little Brother, you spoil your girls too much," Violet teased.
Her purple eyes sparkled with mischief.
"They deserve it," Victor replied simply.
His voice was warm.
Lane hugged the bracelet to her chest.
Her black eyes were filled with love.
"Thank you, Young Master."
"Anything for you, Little Lane," Victor said softly.
Skyla pouted playfully.
"What about me, Young Master?"
Victor laughed.
"Come, Little Skyla. Let’s find something for you."
He took her hand.
Skyla’s heart skipped a beat.
They walked to a scarf stall.
Victor picked out a beautiful silk scarf.
It was a soft emerald green.
Perfect for her eyes.
"Here, try this," he said.
Skyla draped it around her neck.
Her green eyes sparkled.
"How do I look?"
"Beautiful. Like always," Victor replied.
Skyla blushed deeply.
She hugged the scarf to her chest.
"Thank you, Young Master."
He also bought small gifts for Violet, Ruby, and Sasha.
"Big Sisters, thank you for guiding us today. Please accept these as a token of my gratitude," Victor said.
He handed Violet a silver hairpin.
Her eyes widened in surprise.
"Little Brother... you didn’t have to..."
"Please, Big Sister. I insist."
Violet smiled warmly.
"Thank you, Victor."
For Ruby, he chose a red bracelet.
It matched her fiery hair.
"For you, Big Sister Ruby."
Ruby’s green eyes sparkled.
"You’re too kind, Little Brother!"
For Sasha, he picked a yellow jade pendant.
"Big Sister Sasha, this is for you."
Sasha’s yellowish eyes filled with joy.
"I love it! Thank you, Little Brother!"
The girls were all touched by his generosity.
Lane and Skyla watched with mixed feelings.
A little jealous.
But also proud.
Their Young Master was so kind.
So generous.
So wonderful.
As they continued walking, Victor noticed that there were not many mortals in the city.
Most of the people here contained spiritual mana inside their bodies.
Even if it was just a small amount.
Just a few minutes later, Victor started to feel a little headache.
Whether it was Earth or this world, women always remained passionate about shopping.
Lane and Skyla’s womanly instincts were simulated instantly after arriving in the market.
They started buying things one by one.
No matter if it was an ordinary item or a spiritual item, as long as it caught their eye, they bought it.
"Young Master, look at this beautiful hairpin!" Lane exclaimed, holding up a jade hairpin.
"It suits you," Victor said with a smile.
"Young Master, what about this scarf?" Skyla asked, draping a silk scarf around her neck.
"Beautiful," he replied.
Violet, Ruby, and Sasha also helped pick out items for the girls.
Offering their opinions on what would look best.
The market was filled with laughter and chatter.
They moved from stall to stall.
Each one offering new treasures.
Victor marveled at the variety.
Everything was so different from Earth.
The fabrics were richer.
The colors were brighter.
The craftsmanship was exquisite.
After walking for two hours, they arrived in front of a big clothes shop.
"Little Brother, this shop is a famous clothes shop in the city. We should take a look," Violet said, her purple eyes sparkling.
