Chapter 66: After the Passionate Night: A Mother’s Gift
After the Passionate Night: A Mother’s Gift
Clara gave him that look.
The one she always wore when she was up to something.
Her purple eyes sparkled with mischief as she leaned closer.
Then her fingers started tracing lazy patterns on his leg.
Victor squirmed in his seat.
The soft touch sent shivers racing up his spine.
He couldn’t help it.
His whole body tensed under her hand.
"Victor," she said sweetly, "you seem a little tense today."
Her voice was all innocence.
But her eyes?
Those were anything but.
Victor swallowed hard.
His throat felt dry.
"I’m fine, Aunt."
His voice came out strained.
Tight.
Like he was forcing the words out.
Clara chuckled softly.
The sound was warm.
But dangerous.
"Are you sure?" she pressed. "You look a little... flushed."
Her fingers moved higher.
Slowly.
Deliberately.
Victor’s breath caught in his throat.
"Aunt, please..."
It came out as a whisper.
Barely audible.
Clara laughed.
A light, airy sound.
Then she withdrew her hand like nothing happened.
"I’m just teasing, nephew."
Her smile was sweet.
Too sweet.
Anna watched the whole thing from across the room.
A soft smile played on her lips.
*My little boy has become a man now*, she thought.
Pride swelled in her chest.
Mixed with a touch of nostalgia.
Her red eyes softened as she looked at her son.
Rias sat at the table.
She shook her head slowly.
And sighed.
"This boy is really hopeless," she murmured under her breath.
But her cheeks were faintly pink.
Her cold tone held no real bite.
Just amusement.
Barely hidden.
"Can you keep your voice down during the table, Clara?" Rias said flatly. "What a shameful display."
But there was warmth underneath the words.
Skyla sat nearby.
Her green eyes darted between everyone.
Confusion painted her cute face.
"What’s going on?" she asked innocently. "Did I miss something?"
Her head tilted slightly.
Genuine curiosity in her voice.
Victor let out a long breath.
*Now I’ve made her curious too*, he thought.
Great.
Just great.
He glanced around the table.
Three pairs of eyes were fixed on him.
Clara’s amused gaze.
Anna’s warm one.
Rias’s cool but teasing look.
He felt a little stunned.
Surrounded.
Trapped in a way that wasn’t entirely unpleasant.
Then he remembered.
Last night.
His face flushed again.
*They sensed it*, he realized.
*All three of them.*
His predecessor’s memories told him these women had sharp instincts.
Nothing escaped them.
Not even that.
Victor cleared his throat.
The awkwardness was suffocating.
His face was still burning from Clara’s teasing.
"Mother," he said, his voice steady now, "I wanted to go to Suncloud City today."
He needed to get out.
Clear his head.
Breathe.
Anna nodded warmly.
Her red eyes held understanding.
"Hmm, that’s good too," she said softly.
Then she reached into her robe.
Pulled out a small crystal glass vial.
Inside were bean-sized pills.
Glistening faintly.
Victor looked at them curiously.
"Mother, what are these pills?"
He genuinely didn’t know.
Even with his predecessor’s memories.
These were unfamiliar.
Anna smiled.
A mysterious little curve of her lips.
"These are anti-pregnancy pills," she said simply.
Her voice was calm.
Matter-of-fact.
Victor’s eyes widened.
"Victor," she continued, her smile growing, "I’m sure you understand their uses now."
She paused.
Let the words sink in.
"My little Victor has grown up."
A soft chuckle escaped her.
"Fufu!"
Victor’s face burned crimson.
He wanted the ground to swallow him whole.
Anna didn’t say out loud but sent a sound transmission directly into Victor’s mind.
Her voice in his head was playful.
Warm.
Amused.
Telepathy was a special ability of high-ranked cultivators.
They could send messages like telepathy to others’ minds through their divine senses.
Victor dumbly stared at his mother’s face for a few moments, then nodded slowly.
She was really overly comfortable with this whole incident.
He was expecting that she might scold him or give him some lectures.
But unexpectedly, she gave him these pills as if she was saying he could have as much fun as he wanted.
His face flushed again.
But he accepted the vial.
"Thank you, Mother."
His voice was quiet.
Anna smiled warmly.
"Be careful, my son."
He nodded.
---
After breakfast.
Victor thought about his cultivation.
The passionate night had given him great benefits.
He had reached the Third Layer of Spiritual Gathering Stage.
From the Ninth Layer of Body Tempering Realm.
All from one night of lovemaking.
He needed to go to the city.
He needed to explore.
He needed to grow stronger.
"If you encounter any problem, just break this talisman. I will come over immediately," Anna said, giving Victor a jade the size of his palm.
There were many weird symbols engraved on the surface of the jade.
They glowed faintly with spiritual power.
Victor accepted the jade.
He truly marveled at the mysterious techniques of this world.
Just by inscribing some formations on a jade, a cultivator could change an ordinary jade into an SOS signal transmitter.
He pocketed the jade carefully.
"Thank you, Mother."
Anna nodded.
Victor, Lane, and Skyla—three people—finally walked out of the house and moved toward Suncloud City.
The morning sun was warm on their faces.
The birds chirped merrily.
The road stretched before them.
Clara had suggested coming with them, but Victor preferred going with his maids alone.
He wanted time with them.
He wanted to explore the city.
He wanted to enjoy his new life.
Lane walked beside him.
Her black hair swayed with each step.
Her E cup breasts bounced gently.
Skyla walked on his other side.
Her blonde hair shone in the sunlight.
Her D cup breasts pressed against her green robe.
Victor looked at them.
His heart was full.
Two beautiful maids.
His women.
His future.
He smiled.
The day was going to be wonderful.
