SUPREME ARCH-MAGUS

Chapter 1060 - 1060: Boring!

The Skyfire Arena was still trembling from the aftershocks of Kent’s casual display of dominance. While he casually sat upon his jade throne with wine in hand, the battlefield turned into chaos.

The remaining members of the first group tore at one another with merciless intent, their pets clashing in a frenzy of claws, fangs, spells, and thunder.

The audience, which had been mocking and cheering at Kent’s supposed downfall, now found their voices changing to a different tune—boos, curses, and laughter twisted together like an uncontrollable storm.

“Look at them fight! They’ve already forgotten Kent exists!”

“Hah! That boy is just sitting like a lord. Shameless trickster!”

“Kill each other! Only one place is left next to him, after all!”

Inside the Arena, the struggle came down to only three survivors.

Rina Lova’s whip hissed like a serpent in her hand, snapping at anyone who dared come close. Her beauty was laced with venom, but right now her expression carried no pride, only tension. She moved swiftly, retreating to the edges, conserving strength. Her whip danced only when a strike was unavoidable, keeping the bloodthirsty pets away from her. She had survived by clever avoidance, letting others fight and die.

But her fortune was about to run out.

Two figures remained locked in deadly combat at the center—Iron Fang Wu, a mountain of a man with an aura of indestructibility, and Zhan Din, the Thunder Roar Spear specialist whose every strike rattled the Arena with the sound of heaven’s fury.

Zhan Din’s pet, a scaled thunder hound, growled menacingly at Wu’s side, but Wu’s iron-clad bear stood firm, matching it roar for roar.

“ROAR—!” Wu’s voice merged with his bear’s as he slammed his palms together, iron qi bursting from him like molten steel poured into the air. “Heavenly Iron Dome Spell!”

A shimmering dome of metallic essence formed around him and his beast, a fortress of defense that had repelled countless opponents so far.

Zhan Din sneered, lightning crackling along his long spear. His eyes were sharp, his stance unyielding. “Hiding in a shell like a turtle, Wu? Let’s see how long your dome lasts!”

With a bellow, Zhan Din hurled his Thunder Roar Spear forward. The weapon split into three dazzling afterimages, each vibrating with thunderous resonance.

BOOM! The first spear smashed against the dome, thunder cracking.

BOOM! The second followed instantly, chipping cracks into the shimmering metal barrier.

BOOM! The third spear carried the roar of a thunderstorm, its force rattling the Arena floor as sparks sprayed everywhere.

The Dome trembled.

The spectators leaned forward as if their hearts were tied to that iron shield.

“Will it break?”

“No one has ever shattered Iron Fang Wu’s defense before!”

“If Zhan Din does it, he’ll be unstoppable!”

Wu’s teeth ground together as sweat dripped down his forehead. The dome was trembling violently. “You dare…! My Dome will not—!”

Before he could finish, a massive CRACK rang out. The dome shattered into shards of iron light, dissipating like broken glass.

The crowd roared in shock.

Zhan Din didn’t pause. He lunged forward, spear vibrating with another roar of thunder, his thunder hound howling beside him. “Fall, Wu!”

Wu staggered backward, his defenses gone, his bear crushed under the thunderous pressure. His eyes widened in disbelief, but the next strike sent him flying across the Arena. He crashed against the boundary wall with a sickening THUD before vanishing out of the Skyfire Arena.

“Iron Fang Wu has been eliminated!” The elder’s voice declared coldly.

The Arena erupted with cheers.

“Hahaha! Finally, Wu is out!”

“That’s what happens when you think you’re unbreakable!”

“Zhan Din is unstoppable! He’ll crush that girl next!”

Rina Lova’s heart pounded as she realized she was next. She had avoided the fight so far, but now Zhan Din’s eyes were already on her. His spear twitched in his grip, hungry for blood.

“Trying to slither around unnoticed, woman?” Zhan Din spat, his aura sparking with thunder. “No more hiding. Face me or leave!”

Rina Lova cracked her whip, its length shimmering with fire qi, snapping against the ground with a sound like a burning lash. “You think I fear you? Don’t underestimate me, Zhan Din.”

Her pet, a crimson flame panther, growled at her side, its claws carving scorch marks into the Arena floor.

Zhan Din smirked, tightening his grip. “Then die standing instead of crawling.”

Their fight erupted in a whirlwind of sound and fury.

Zhan Din thrust his spear, lightning spiraling forward like a thunder serpent. Rina’s whip snapped at the air, curling around the strike, barely redirecting it. Sparks flew as the two weapons clashed, one representing overwhelming force, the other precision and control.

The crowd cheered wildly with every collision.

“She can’t hold on long!”

“Zhan Din’s strength is too much for her whip!”

“End her, Zhan Din! Finish it!”

Rina’s movements were swift, but she was clearly at a disadvantage. Each strike of the spear forced her backward, her whip lashing desperately to block. Her panther lunged at the thunder hound, but the hound’s electric jaws bit down with brutal force, tossing the beast aside.

Blood splattered from the panther’s wounds.

“No!” Rina gasped, barely dodging another spear thrust as her whip wrapped around Zhan Din’s arm, only for him to rip free with raw strength, sparks ripping at her weapon.

Zhan Din laughed, his voice echoing with thunder. “You’re finished, woman! Just accept it!”

His spear gathered a storm, lightning converging into a roaring tempest along its shaft. He aimed it at her chest, ready to end the fight.

Rina’s face went pale. She tried to step back, but the pressure of the spear locked her body in place. Her whip trembled in her hand, her panther lay groaning on the floor.

The audience was already cheering Zhan Din’s victory.

“End her!”

“Throw her out!”

“Zhan Din wins this round!”

The spear struck forward like judgment.

But just as it was about to pierce her, a casual, almost lazy voice cut through the tension.

“Boring.”

The sound came from the eastern corner.

Kent, who had been drinking silently all this time, had finally moved. He raised his hand slightly, and with a snap of his fingers, a spear of his own materialized out of thin air. Unlike Zhan Din’s weapon, this one pulsed with ancient force, winds swirling madly around its tip.

He flicked his wrist, and the spear shot forward. ꜰ ʏᴏᴜ ᴡᴀᴛ ᴛᴏ ʀᴀᴅ ᴍᴏʀ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛʀs, ᴘʟᴀs ᴠsᴛ novlfire.net
