Super Soldier in the City

Chapter 2728 - 2790: Reconciliation

Didn’t go to the Capital City because Elder Su had some matters these days, so even if they went, they wouldn’t meet him. Instead, they decided to return directly to Ning Province. The plane landed, and the group left the airport, directly got into the Li family’s special car, and without stopping, returned to their home in Mile City. When they were just a few kilometers away from home, the women visibly became lively and started feeling eager.

Home is something people look forward to from birth to death, usually formed by blood relations, so upon returning home, one’s mood improves immediately. Having just faced life and death, Su Mengxin felt the same, especially with her husband by her side now; she wanted to see her son quickly. The child should be in school since today was only Wednesday.

After returning home, Chu Xiaoyao and a few others came to greet them. Seeing that Su Lio was alright, the women felt relieved, gathered around her for a chat, and then Chu Xiaoyao went to pick up the child. As soon as the chubby little guy saw that his mom was back, he ran over, hugged Su Mengxin, and kissed her face repeatedly, saying, "Mom, I missed you," which greatly comforted Su Mengxin.

Being a mom is just like that; even the tiniest actions of their children can make them happy, sometimes for a long time. Su Mengxin was no exception. After the child went off to play, she was still smiling blissfully, holding a little flower her son had folded — a craft taught by a schoolteacher. He completed a ’homework’ on the spot, and gave Su Mengxin a paper flower, promising to give each mom a little flower.

Kids don’t need to be too well-behaved, but they need to understand things and be able to do things. This doesn’t mean children are scheming; at their age, they don’t have that concept. The only person not promised a red flower was Li Yifei. According to his son’s explanation, dads are men and don’t need flowers. Li Yifei asked what he would give then, and the child said he only knew how to make this one thing now, but would give him something suitable once he learned more.

Li Yifei couldn’t help but laugh. While the women were chatting, Li Yifei wandered over to Na Yi. Ever since growing from a girl into a woman, Na Yi had become increasingly alluring. This allure wasn’t promiscuous, and Li Yifei couldn’t quite describe it; it was just a feeling he got upon seeing her. If Li Yifei had to say, it was a good allure, deeply enjoyable in the intimacy of the bedroom when they were both open and free.

Seeing Li Yifei coming back, Na Yi looked pleasantly surprised. After hugging, she first inquired about Su Mengxin, saying: "I was thinking of going to see Sister Su just now, but I wasn’t feeling too well, so I thought I’d wait a while longer!"

"She’s fine now, but what’s wrong with your health?" Li Yifei asked quickly.

"I... just felt a bit unwell!" Na Yi said, immediately raising her head with a grin, "It’s nothing, probably just ate something wrong, I guess."

"You look okay, but where exactly aren’t you feeling well?" Li Yifei said as he held Na Yi’s small hand to check, but Na Yi quickly shook her head, "It’s... I vomited twice!"

"Ah?" Li Yifei paused for a moment, then his face lit up with joy and he excitedly asked, "Is it... are you pregnant?"

Na Yi’s eyes widened immediately when she heard this, then she quickly shook her head, "No, I went to see a doctor. It wasn’t pregnancy—I don’t know why, but vomiting happened twice today!"

Oh, Li Yifei felt a little disappointed but quickly adjusted. Na Yi being pregnant would surely be nice, but it’s okay if she’s not; she’s still young. There will be plenty of opportunities to have children in the future, not to mention she herself is still a child. If she had a child now, who would take care of whom?

Of course, that’s just a joke. Na Yi is very good at taking care of people; even if she did have a child, she’d surely manage well. Besides, there’s never a shortage of caretakers for children in the Li family.

Li Yifei delicately scratched Na Yi’s little nose, pulled her to sit down, and used some True Qi to help adjust her body. Maybe she really did eat something bad or caught a chill sleeping. After a bit of energy work, Na Yi felt much better. Though she didn’t get pregnant this time, there will be other opportunities—in the Li family, whether to have a child is based on personal wishes. If someone is ready and wants a child, they try their best. If not, there is no rush; one doesn’t have to have children in this lifetime. Someone like He Fangqing seems to have this view. Li Yifei fully respects her choice, and here in the Li family, there’s no notion that not having children means no one to care for in old age. Even if the children didn’t want to, the Li family wouldn’t lack money for retirement. So it’s okay not to have kids—the key point is that childbirth should be about prolonging the lineage and being a symbol of love, not for any particular purpose. That would be irresponsible.

Similarly, Lin Qiong might be considering this as well, though her parents hope to have a grandchild sooner, so there’s discussion needed. Deputy Director Lin is currently at the peak of her career, and she’s willing to work, which Li Yifei doesn’t stop.

In summary, in the Li family, Li Yifei does hold the greatest power, but there’s mutual respect between him and his wives. He hasn’t really had to force anything in the past, and certainly won’t now. Any matters that arise, they handle together. Significant issues are never neglected, and for minor ones, they strive for balance among the women.

Of course, this is idealistic; small conflicts are inevitable among the women. For example, Chu Xiaoyao and Su Yiyi had a minor spat. Given Su Yiyi’s character, even if it were something big, she wouldn’t mention it. Meanwhile, Chu Xiaoyao definitely has no malicious intent. The two had a small disagreement; Su Yiyi didn’t take it seriously, and Chu Xiaoyao reflected on it and felt she should apologize but couldn’t bring herself to do it. Luckily, Li Yifei returned, so she sought his help since their relationship used to be the best. It’s crucial not to let small conflicts cause a rift.

After understanding Chu Xiaoyao’s intentions, Li Yifei resorted to a straightforward and direct approach. He visited Su Yiyi, finding her doing laundry, which typically had a dedicated person to do it daily, but Su Yiyi always managed what she could herself, seldom bothering others. When Li Yifei arrived, Su Yiyi was hanging clothes, her foot on a stool.

Hearing the door open, she turned, saw Li Yifei, and a hint of surprise appeared in her eyes, knowing he had come alone to see her, apart from the group.

"Husband, we’ve already met; you should be with the other sisters." Su Yiyi said, as Li Yifei embraced her and helped her down.

Li Yifei took a deep breath, catching a whiff of certain scents, chuckled, and said, "So, do you want your husband to stay?"

"Of course, I... I don’t want you to stay; the other sisters haven’t seen you yet," Su Yiyi replied.

"Saying one thing and meaning another!" Li Yifei patted Su Yiyi’s perky behind and whispered, "But I want to see you right now."

With a single sentence, Su Yiyi became soft. Amongst the women, she’s the most compliant; as long as Li Yifei wishes, she’ll do anything. Thus when Li Yifei said this, she softened up, resting against him and softly said, "Husband!"

Actions spoke louder than words. Li Yifei quickly kissed Su Yiyi’s soft lips, and she responded in kind. After so many years together, they knew each other’s points well, and their bodies could be ignited rapidly. That’s because there’s love between them. Soon, emotions flared, and Li Yifei picked up Su Yiyi, carried her upstairs in his arms, and a battle unfolded in the bedroom.

But Su Yiyi was still just an ordinary human; even though she tried her best to meet him, she couldn’t withstand Li Yifei’s vigorous advances, even when he was gentle and slowed his pace. Soon, Su Yiyi was utterly defenseless, overwhelmed, yet couldn’t bear to dampen Li Yifei’s enthusiasm. She thought about suggesting he visit another sister but felt uneasy about doing so.

As she was torn, Chu Xiaoyao appeared out of nowhere, like a savior, by their side. She was nearly naked but unashamedly bold, so the already captivated Su Yiyi immediately seized her as a lifeline, clutching Chu Xiaoyao’s hand tightly and pleading: "Xiaoyao, help me! My husband is too... strong!"

Chu Xiaoyao had come feeling apologetic but couldn’t find the courage earlier. Now, with Su Yiyi asking for help, Chu Xiaoyao was sure to do her best for her good sister. Soon, she was practically stripped bare by Li Yifei, wearing only a sock, lying beside Su Yiyi, while Li Yifei loomed over the two women like a giant.

Though both were not tall, their figures were stunning, showcasing the unique beauty of Eastern women, with smooth skin akin to cream, making Li Yifei naturally desire dominion—to conquer the two women. Yes, this was his world.

The room was filled with warmth and vibrant passion, the atmosphere echoing with joyful sounds.

An hour later, as the fervor subsided, and the songs of joy paused, Li Yifei carried the two women to the bathroom where they all lay in the bathtub together. Though the tub was quite large, fitting three people proved a challenge, leading Chu Xiaoyao to lie across Li Yifei’s body, while Su Yiyi lay beside them.

Gazing at Su Yiyi, whose face was flushed with embarrassment, Chu Xiaoyao propped herself up, kissed Su Yiyi’s lips, and took the opportunity to whisper, "Dear Yiyi, don’t be mad at me anymore, okay?"

Watching two women sharing a kiss ignited a reaction in Li Yifei, but the two were too tired for another round. He restrained his impulses and cuddled them, blissfully soaking in the bath.

After tidying up, the two women lay closely, gradually falling asleep. Li Yifei, however, was still awake, and stayed quietly in the room for a while, browsing Twitter, seeing some good news, like follow-up reports on Yang Wei and others. Apparently, the police launched a thorough investigation and the true situation was shared with the public, sparking widespread social discussion. Many parents regretted their former beliefs, and some were educated by these events.
