Mole sweats with embarrassment, and subsequently, the two of them drive down the mountain. After reaching the bottom, Shadow Mouse leads Jiang Cheng to park the car very close to the underground tunnel, making it convenient for them to swiftly retreat. While parking, they intentionally turn the car to face the direction they came from.

After getting out of the car, Mole says to Jiang Cheng, "Once inside, try not to speak. Just follow me. I won’t need to remind you to adapt to situations, will I?"

Jiang Cheng suddenly feels like Shadow Mouse is as annoying as a nagging old lady and says, "I know. Hurry up, people need to move quickly or things might change for the worse!"

Then the two of them enter the underground passage. Once inside, Jiang Cheng keeps looking around, checking his surroundings.

After entering the underground tunnel, they’ve walked over fifty meters and encounter two guards. Jiang Cheng quickly lowers his head, as he doesn’t want the guards to recognize he’s not from there.

The guards see Shadow Mouse and greet him, saying, "Feng, you’re back? How did the mission go?"

Shadow Mouse replies, "Do I even need to say? With me taking charge, success is assured. No need to waste time talking with you, I’ve got more tasks from above." Speaking, he leads Jiang Cheng further inside. When passing by the guards, they glance at Jiang Cheng and ask, "Are you new here? Haven’t seen you around."

Mole hears the guards but doesn’t let Jiang Cheng speak, saying directly, "What’s wrong with me bringing someone in? Do you think I can only bring team members?"

When Mole mentions ’team members,’ Jiang Cheng discreetly places his hand on his gun but remains silent, ready to deal with all three of them including Mole instantly if anything goes wrong.

"No, no, I was just casually asking. Anyone brought by Shadow Mouse surely isn’t a problem." Shadow Mouse grunts softly and leads Jiang Cheng further inside. After walking a while, they come to a steel gate.

This steel gate isn’t made of vertical metal bars like a barrier, but thick steel panels. It’s not just the gate, the entire wall is constructed this way. Judging by its appearance, both the door and the wall must be at least twenty millimeters thick.

Before this steel gate, two guards are stationed. Seeing Mole, they ask, "Why are you here, Shadow Mouse?"

Mole nods and says, "Damn orders from above. I’ve just finished a mission, and now they want me to pick someone up from here. Haven’t even had a chance to sleep properly yet."

Speaking, Mole yawns, the two guards notice he genuinely looks sleep-deprived and flatter him by saying, "Shadow Mouse, it’s because you’re valued by those higher up. Look at us, aside from eating and sleeping, all we do is watch this big steel door. Unlike you, Shadow Mouse."

Saying this, one guard takes out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket, pulls one out, and hands it to Mole, then gives one to Jiang Cheng without asking much.

Mole accepts the cigarette, and the guard quickly lights it for him. After lighting the cigarette, Mole pretends to be angry saying to Jiang Cheng, "Why are you still frozen? Go get the person out quickly; I need to get back and rest. No idea why the higher-ups sent someone like you without any sense here."

Hearing Mole’s words, the guard who didn’t give Mole a cigarette hurries to open the room’s door. Jiang Cheng goes inside, finds Mu Yu, who upon seeing Jiang Cheng, has a gleam in his eyes as he seems to understand. Opening his mouth but saying nothing, he quietly follows Jiang Cheng out the door.

After finding their person, the three quickly leave the underground passage in the car, heading down the mountain. But time isn’t on their side, and halfway down, the car blew a tire.

Mole and Mu Yu also get out of the car at this time. Seeing the burst tire, they ask Jiang Cheng, "What do we do now? Run on foot?"

Jiang Cheng shrugs and says, "What else can we do? We’re not on a main road here. On a highway, even with a flat tire, the car could go a distance. Here in the mountains, can you expect a car with a flat tire to run?"

Mu Yu and Mole fall silent after hearing Jiang Cheng. Just then, Jiang Cheng’s ears twitch, and he says to the two, "Don’t speak! Be quiet."

Jiang Cheng then listens carefully, Mu Yu and Mole see Jiang Cheng’s demeanor and figure he must’ve heard something, so they hold their breath, quietly waiting for him to speak.

After listening closely, Jiang Cheng smiles and says, "Seems like we’re still quite lucky today." Hearing this, Mole and Mu Yu are very curious. Given the situation, everyone exchanges glances.

Then Jiang Cheng says, "You two take off your clothes now, put branches inside the car, and hang your clothes on them. Someone’s coming to bring us a car."

After Jiang Cheng finishes speaking, he takes off his top, runs to the roadside to break branches, and puts them in the car. Being very intelligent, Mole and Mu Yu quickly understand Jiang Cheng’s intent and follow his instructions.

Once all three are ready, they run into the ditches on either side of the mountain, quietly waiting for the newcomers to arrive. Sure enough, they see a car descending from the mountain shortly after.

Addressing Jiang Cheng, Mole says, "They should be here to kill us, but Jiang Cheng, how did you hear their car? From the beginning to now, we’ve been preparing for a while, and if they haven’t stopped during this time, you heard them from quite a distance away."

Jiang Cheng glances at Mole, smiles, and says, "With enough practice, you can do it too. Besides, we’re in the mountains, not a city, so the car sounds aren’t hidden. That’s why I heard it from far away."

After Jiang Cheng’s explanation, Mole refrains from asking further, and the three quietly wait for the car from the mountain to come closer. The car, noticing Jiang Cheng’s blown tire, drives into a stop within about a hundred meters from them.

Seeing the stopped car, Jiang Cheng gestures to Mu Yu and Mole, indicating they should quietly move near it. Immediately, the three stealthily approach the vicinity of the car.

There are five people in the car. After getting out, one remains to guard the car, while the other four head towards Jiang Cheng’s vehicle.
