Chapter 1430: Chapter 1420: Exposed in Embarrassment

"Don’t worry, Old Jiang. The company has us and Mengmeng to handle things, so go ahead and focus on teaching and nurturing the next generation. I hear the female teachers at No. 1 High School are quite good; maybe you can introduce a few to Old Xiao in the future." Old Ma said suggestively, as in his heart, Zhang Mengmeng already belonged to Jiang Cheng, so the introduction was meant for Old Xiao.

"Absolutely, absolutely. Alright, call me if anything comes up. I’m off now." Jiang Cheng said, standing up. He planned to make a trip to Yanbang, so things should be sorted out here by the time he returned.

Driving to the airport, Jiang Cheng didn’t bring anything, confident that Elder Xu would have everything arranged for him there. Plus, he could take the opportunity to see how Ning Jing and Counting Sheep were doing.

He bought a ticket for the next flight to Yanbang at the ticket hall. An hour later, the plane took off from Q Mansion airport, heading towards Hua Family.

An hour later, the plane landed at Yanjing airport. By that time, the city lights had turned on; streets lit up with shops, hotels, and various building lights, illuminating the Capital City of Yanbang.

Jiang Cheng exited the airport and immediately called Ning Jing.

"Hello, Captain, it’s not been long since we parted, and you’re calling already. Miss me, huh?" Ning Jing’s enticing voice came through the phone.

"Yeah, really miss you. I wish I could see you right now!" Jiang Cheng said slyly with a mischievous smile.

"Haha, then come over. When you arrive, I’ll treat you to a feast!" Ning Jing chuckled.

"I’m in Yanbang now." Jiang Cheng stated.

The other end went silent for a moment, then Ning Jing’s voice, raised by eight degrees, came through: "What! You’re in Yanbang! And you didn’t say anything sooner! I’ll send Counting Sheep to pick you up right now!" With that, the call was swiftly disconnected.

Listening to the voice from the other side, Jiang Cheng couldn’t help but smile. He knew that no matter what, the few of them would always be the closest people in the world to each other.

Jiang Cheng waited at the airport entrance for over forty minutes before Counting Sheep arrived, along with Ning Jing, of course.

"Haha, Boss, how could you come without saying anything!" Counting Sheep exclaimed as soon as he saw Jiang Cheng, opening his arms for a bear hug. Ning Jing, on the side, quietly watched the two men, unable to hide the joy in her eyes.

Although the three of them hadn’t been separated for many years, and it had only been a month, those not in a foreign place can’t understand the feeling of being in a strange land. Seeing Jiang Cheng, their closest person, in a foreign place, the excitement within Counting Sheep and Ning Jing can’t be expressed in mere words.

"Haha, I came over to take care of some things and visit you guys. Why aren’t you welcoming?" Jiang Cheng said with a laugh, feeling very excited to see them again.

"What are you saying, Boss? Let’s go; I’ll show you our bar." Counting Sheep said excitedly.

"Oh? You guys opened a bar so quickly?" Jiang Cheng was extremely surprised. These two came saying they were going to open a bar here, and Jiang Cheng was worried they’d face trouble and wouldn’t be able to solve it. This time he came to help them, but unexpectedly they managed to open a bar in such a short time, making Jiang Cheng look at them with newfound respect.

"Of course, Boss, you’ll be amazed when you see it," Ning Jing said with pride.

"Well, I’m really looking forward to it." Jiang Cheng said as he got into the car with them.

The car sped along the roads of Yanbang. Since it was nighttime, there were fewer cars on the road than during the day, so they traveled unimpeded and quickly arrived at Ning Jing and Counting Sheep’s bar.

The bar looked small but was incredibly popular.

Standing at the door, Jiang Cheng constantly saw people going in and out, non-stop.

"Wow, the business looks great!" Jiang Cheng praised.

"Of course, consider who the owners are!" Ning Jing said with pride, resembling a proud swan. Next to her, Counting Sheep couldn’t help but be a little dazzled by her appearance.

All of this was noticed by Jiang Cheng, who gave them a meaningful look, but said nothing. What’s meant to happen will always happen; the course of nature will guide it. Jiang Cheng thought to himself.

Entering the bar, a wave of sound hit Jiang Cheng’s ears, almost pushing him out. As a new-era, well-rounded youth, Jiang Cheng hadn’t been to bars much, so he wasn’t accustomed to the environment here. But he could easily tell how booming the business was, with crowds of people, endless beautiful women making him almost unable to look away.

"How is it, do you like it?" Ning Jing asked Jiang Cheng with a suggestive smile. Her seductive gaze; if Jiang Cheng weren’t accustomed to it, anyone else would’ve been a mess by now.

"You guys are great! I’ll need you to cover for me and Mengmeng whenever we visit Yanbang from now on!" Jiang Cheng teased.

"Mengmeng, for sure. You... I’ll consider it." Ning Jing said, playfully.

Jiang Cheng, Ning Jing, and Counting Sheep drank at the bar for a while before he and Counting Sheep went to find a hotel to settle down. They had to see Elder Xu the next day.

Soon, it was the next day.

If the morning in Q Mansion was tranquil, then the morning in Yanbang was bustling. Early morning, various vehicles were already pouring in from all directions, flooding the main streets. Before long, the roads were blocked with a long line of cars.

At that moment, Jiang Cheng was in the hotel, having just called Elder Xu, informing him of his location. Elder Xu replied, saying he’d send someone to pick him up, then hung up.

Jiang Cheng packed lightly and headed downstairs from the hotel. It was summer, so people on the streets were generally dressed skimpily, providing Jiang Cheng with a visual feast. Although the fashion of this era wasn’t as daring as it would be in the future, the women were generally more pure, which was Jiang Cheng’s preferred type.

Jiang Cheng was enjoying the sights of beautiful women on the street when suddenly, a large SUV sped towards him at 100 kilometers per hour, screeching to a halt beside him.

Seeing the car, Jiang Cheng was amazed. The wild shape, the imposing body—this was a dream car for many men. As he admired it, the car door opened.

Out stepped a pair of clean, sturdy, long legs. The shape was aesthetically pleasing and slender, perfectly accentuated by leather boots.

Next, out came a young woman wearing sunglasses and a sleeveless crop top. This woman was incredibly beautiful, with a delicate face and shoulder-length Big Wave hair—a flawless beauty.

Jiang Cheng used what he thought was an appreciative gaze, staring at this beauty. In his mind, this woman was the most flawless one he’d seen of this era; whether it was her figure or face, it was impeccable. In Jiang Cheng’s heart, she was a nine-out-of-ten.

The woman walked past him but seemed to remember something after a couple of steps. She turned back to stare at Jiang Cheng, startling him.

"What are you doing? I’m from a respectable family!" Jiang Cheng said, covering his chest with his hands.

Seeing his action, the woman’s face showed a flash of anger, but it disappeared almost instantly.

"Are you Jiang Cheng?" the woman asked, uncertain.

"Huh? You know me? Oh... You’re the one Elder Xu sent." Jiang Cheng quickly realized this should be the person Elder Xu said would be coming to fetch him. Judging by this, Elder Xu’s lifestyle seemed pretty good—sending out a woman of this caliber casually. "Alright, let’s go; I’ll take you to meet him." The woman saw Jiang Cheng confirm his identity, a flicker of curiosity appeared in her eyes but quickly hidden away.
