The group continued to make their preparations for the upcoming expedition. It was the biggest expedition they had ever faced, so it would be extremely dangerous.

They would finally go to the alien territory the next day. Hence, to ensure the smooth operation, Nathan gathered everyone for a briefing.

This was also a test for everyone, since he might not be able to lead them all the time. He had listened to Vivian’s story about the alien territory after all. He didn’t expect her to find two elite class aliens.

Selena nodded. “I have prepared tents and all other daily necessities, such as clothes, for the next several days. Considering it’s better to separate items for each space ring, I have gathered everyone’s clothes in my space bracelet in two forms.

“The first one is a drawer, which has been assigned to their respective owners. The second one is in an individual case. This way, you don’t have to worry that your clothes will be visible to anyone else.

“There are all kinds of utensils you can use. Still, there are a few things that I’m quite confused about. Even though we’re going to move together, there’s a chance for us to be separated. It won’t be weird for us to divide into two groups.

“Hence, to ensure everyone’s supply, I have decided to split everything into three space bracelets. The first one is mine, the second one is Alavenya, and the third person is Flora.”

Nathan thought for a moment. “Why do you choose Alavenya and Flora?”

“Sera has to carry food. To avoid getting mixed up with all these necessities, it’s best for her to solely focus on food. Of course, I have discussed it with Sera and agreed to split the food between three people as well, which is Sera, Noelle, and you.

“As for why I split it this way, it’s actually because of Sera.” Selena glanced at Sera.

Sera continued with Selena’s explanation. “To put it simply, all three of us don’t cook! The best we can do is catch some fish and put it around the fire. So, if we end up getting separated, we have enough food to last for a while.

“Meanwhile, they can forage and search for other food and cook it themselves.

“The second reason is due to our role in the battlefield. In case we’re separated, I will do my best to get paired up with Selena while being separated from you. This way, we can maintain good leadership on both sides.”

Nathan smiled, satisfied with the answer. “That’s good enough.” Of course, he added inwardly, ‘Well, Mae can cook, though.’

She had been living for a long time, serving multiple lords. So, it wasn’t weird for her to learn a lot of things, from daily chores to unique knowledge.

But it was best not to tell them about it in this scenario so as to not ruin the mood.

“Let’s see. Is that all?” Nathan asked.

“Yes.” Selena nodded.

Sera raised her hand. “There is one more thing. I have prepared several empty containers for everyone. They can use it for a lot of things, such as storing herbs. In the alien territory, there are a lot of herbs because there are not many people who go there, so you can use them accordingly.”

“I see. That’ll be helpful. Then, how about Flora?”

“There’s not much I need to report. Everyone has agreed to it. In the end, we’re summoners. We’re bound to go there and risk our lives for a better opportunity. Since our destination is not too deep, they agree while knowing that the risk has been higher.

“They only tell us to be careful. Ah, there’s a message from Duke Coline. He has figured out what has truly happened with the Ashton family.

“He wanted me to tell Selena that you’ve done a great job in getting your revenge. If you manage to bring him back and plan to save him, he will bear the cost for you. Nathan nodded. “What do you think, Selena?”

Selena shook her head. “I don’t really mind. My uncle was the bad guy, while he was only a clueless person.”

“In that case, let’s do it that way,” Nathan agreed before turning to Alavenya and Noelle. “And last but not least, we have you two. Both of you should be aware of the danger of the alien territory already, so I want to listen to the plan.”

Noelle and Alavenya exchanged nods. They had been researching the route and exchanging some insight this whole time, so it was time to put it to use.

There was actually another reason for them to be chosen. Selena, Sera, and Flora simply had better planning ability because it had been honed multiple times. Meanwhile, Noelle and Alavenya had been too focused on their individual might that they didn’t bother to take a lead during their trips.

That was why they were the ones who really got tested this time.
