“Heh. Look who we have here! Aren’t you supposed to be going on a mission?” A man in his early twenties stood up, looking at Noelle, who had just returned home.
Noelle’s expression remained solemn. She demanded, “Elder Brother… I’ve asked Father to let me enter the treasury.”
“Hmm?” He raised his eyebrows. “You did? I guess he gave you permission since you wouldn’t be here.”
“Mhmm…” Noelle nodded.
“I see.” He thought for a moment before standing up. “Sure.”

There were several cursed items inside, which made William take a step back. “You enter. The sword should be on the right side. It’s a sword with a red-colored blade. Once you grab it, get out immediately. I don’t want the foul ena they’re releasing to mess with the rest of the items.”
She acknowledged the instruction and immediately grabbed the red-colored sword. As expected, the sword felt different from the sword she had wielded so far. It was oozing so much bloodlust, as if it was asking her to kill.
Unfortunately for the blade, Noelle had never intended to wield it. She just carried it with her ena and came out of the sealed room.
Then they headed straight to the summoning hall, where the summoners affiliated with their Flamante family conducted their summoning ritual.
She put down the red sword in the center.
An old butler entered the room while saying, “Young Miss. I have brought the best steed…, Ah, Patriarch.”
William waved his hand. “Please bring it here.”
“Yes.” The old butler dragged the dead horse together with a few soldiers to the circle.

“Yes.” Noelle took a deep breath, preparing herself. However, he was startled as the door was slammed open.
“Is the summoning ritual finished yet? What’s the result?”
“Father. You startled me. No, wait. Why are you here? Shouldn’t you be in the palace?”
“My daughter is trying to summon her fifth familiar, so how can I miss it? The others have summoned their eighth or even ninth familiar…” Zack panted a few times. He was rushing out of the royal palace the moment he received permission to leave for a bit.
William chuckled and said, “She is about to start. Why don’t you come here, Father?”

“We should ask later. She is trying to concentrate.”
