Chapter 1965: Three Battlefields

"What about the second battlefield?"

"The second battlefield..." Garuda looked down, recalling all his memories of the second battlefield. "The second battlefield was definitely worse than the first battlefield. After knowing about their strength, we did everything we could and prepared anything we had to confront the aliens again.

"This time, we didn’t underestimate them. We brought the best of the best. There was an alliance between multiple realms for the sake of destroying the aliens.

"It wasn’t led by a single person. Rather, it was through a vote. Each pantheon could sense its representatives who would give everyone their opinions. Then, we would cast a vote on it. To avoid anyone from abusing their privilege, they were forbidden to cast a vote on themselves.

"In any case, the battle was much more organized, and we killed a lot of aliens. However, this was the beginning of our fall. Because we had advanced so much, the black cell must have treated us as a threat.

"To ensure that we couldn’t threaten the black cell’s position, the black cell sent its most powerful aliens. Both Azathoth and Yog-Sothoth were present on this battlefield, unlike the first battlefield where they only used some Ancient Ones or even some weaker Outer Gods.

"Everyone was trying to fight these two. Ananta and other gods controlling space and time challenged Yog-Sothoth.

"Unfortunately, they lost. We all lost. In the end, we had no choice but to retreat. It was only at this time that we became aware of something.

"When we fought the aliens on the first battlefield, some surviving gods had been branded. It should work according to Seath’s explanation.

"Some weaker Outer Gods had that special mark. By continuously fighting them, the surviving gods ended up being branded by that mark.

"That was why the aliens crushed us on the second battlefield. They moved as though they knew about our plan.

"That was when we learned about the mark, and Azathoth’s ability had just proven it. In the end, a lot of leaders got branded with that special mark and spread the marks to some other gods.

"It was chaotic. We were trying to figure out what we were supposed to do next, but that was when Loki proposed the plan.

"I had to send my lord one more time so that he could... die. That was the third battlefield. That was the general timeline of the three battlefields.

"The second battlefield contained even more gods and aliens. It wasn’t as secretive because it was a big battle and we had no way of returning because of those aliens.

"So, you could find it easier than finding the first battlefield. Still, the fact that we ended up finding the first battlefield sooner than the second battlefield meant the second battlefield was either gone or hidden by someone I don’t know."

Nathan narrowed his eyes. "What do you mean by gone?"

"It might have been exploited until there’s nothing left. The second battlefield is quite far from the first battlefield. That’s all I can remember. If I go to the first battlefield, I can probably give you the direction, but I’m not entirely sure yet. After all, we were using portals to get there." Garuda shook his head in disappointment.

He didn’t expect he would be alive again after so long, so he didn’t bother to remember the location or the direction to get there.

That was why it was rather disappointing not to know anything.

Nathan looked down, falling into deep thought. Loki might know the location of the second battlefield.

So, he might really need the information Loki possessed.

After hearing the explanation, Nathan made his decision. "All right. This is what we’re going to do. First, we will head to your location. Try to find the entrance to the first battlefield. We will enter together.

"When we get there, I’m going to summon Apophis first. This way, I’ll have more firepower. He’s an annoying snake, but his strength is certain.

"Then, once we’re done with the first battlefield, maybe clearing up the entire burial ground, Bella will summon Loki. The problem is... since my bad luck hasn’t flared up, going there might cause an incident.

"For example, there might be an influence related to the organization you’d just hit coming for us. They should possess multiple true gods in their ranks.

"Hence, you guys need to prepare for trouble."

Selena nodded in understanding. "What are you talking about? We’re used to your bad luck. Besides, confronting your bad luck together is much better than enjoying your good luck while being separated from you."

Nathan couldn’t help but smile. Selena really knew how to phrase her words. "You really..."

Selena smiled back. "So, come here soon, Darling."

"I will." Nathan glanced back. "Machina, when will you be done with the satellite?"

"I will only need two days, Master."

"Two days..." Luna pondered for a few seconds. "Why don’t you set up a time domain somewhere nearby? Two days means we will have a few months to do something.

"Right now, I’m thinking about spending that time to create the prototype of that body. Tiamat is too strong for the first prototype, so I will need someone who isn’t a true god."

"In that case, let’s proceed with Jinwu."

"Understood." Luna turned to Iris. "You’re going to help me, right?"

"Of course. I definitely love to go with Machina, but I know that the situation is urgent. I can suppress my desires. Don’t worry." Iris reassured Luna.

"Very well." Luna nodded, satisfied with her answer.

"In that case, I’ll work with Catalith to handle the rest of the matters in this world. Flora, Noelle. I will need you to monitor the situation all around the world. Catalith is going to ask about the alliance for Seath, so it’s best to make sure that nothing goes wrong for our ally here."

"Mhmm..." Flora accepted the assignment with a nod, while Noelle was just following Flora as usual.

"There you go. We will go there in two days. I don’t know how long we need to reach that place, though," informed Nathan.

"Sure. Take your time." Selena waved her hand before her expression turned cold. "By the way, I’ve heard this report about Catalith. Didn’t she propose to you?"

"!!!"
