The four alphas had witnessed the battle between Nathan’s group and the alien god.

"Are we supposed to fight something like this?" Teshion gritted his teeth. He thought that if they reached the worst situation, he would become the shield and let the emperor escape.

However, looking at the situation, it didn’t look possible.

"Can we even escape from them?" Teshion was shivering. He looked at the system.

His staff were doing their best to regain control, but no matter how they did it, they failed to recover their system.

He knew the culprit, but he didn’t expect that the culprit would be able to do something like this.

"The Old God wasn’t supposed to have enough power to handle something like this. The ramanity tossed it in a place where it could get barely enough energy to just preserve itself.

"Besides, this kind of computation... isn’t it equal to the Central Processing Unit? How in the world is the old tech better than the new tech? Have we actually regressed?"

Teshion was completely overwhelmed by his own thoughts. He didn’t expect Nathan to be this strong.

If the alien escaped, they had no chance to seal it again, let alone to defeat him.

A single burst from the alien was actually more than enough to destroy their entire fleet.

"How in the world did the people in the past seal this monster?"

There were a lot of questions in Teshion’s mind, but he knew that this wasn’t the time for them.

"How is it? Can you at least take out a single spaceship and rescue Her Majesty?" Teshion asked.

"No, sir. We’re trying, but our own defense system might attack any workers that are trying to create a path."

They could only shake their heads helplessly. This was the first time they couldn’t do anything about a problem.

With Machina’s control, she could shoot down anyone who wanted to jeopardize their plan.

Celestia, who usually kept her poker face, couldn’t help but turn pale. She had been monitoring everything, but the control remained not operational.

"What is our fate now?" Celestia couldn’t imagine what Nathan would do to their planet.

Endelphon let out a long sigh. "I want to fight, but can I do anything? I don’t mind fighting, but if everything is over because of that..."

Endelphon, as someone who loved to fight, was actually forced to consider his actions. If he really did everything, the empire would be destroyed.

A single attack could actually destroy our planet. A quake that affects the universe itself..." Endelphon shook his head helplessly. "I wonder if we can possess such a power too."

Devonio just closed his eyes. There was no way back. Now that the alien had been defeated, it was time for them to face Nathan.

Machina had been keeping an eye on all of them. She suddenly heard Nathan’s message from her body.

"My master is about to arrive." Machina warned them.

A minute later, Nathan abruptly appeared in front of them, bypassing any layer of shields by using his power.

The moment he entered, there was a natural pressure coming off his body, causing all the staff in the cockpit to tremble.

"..." The emperor looked at Nathan with a solemn expression. She didn’t plan to run away.

Nathan glanced at Machina’s hologram. "So..."

Machina explained, "I couldn’t find any codes that directly told me that they wanted to attack you, Master."

"!!!" The emperor was a bit startled when Machina worded it in a way to protect the empire.

"Anything else?"

"None.. There is nothing wrong with them, but they still have to pay some price for daring to raise their arms. There is no telling they won’t attack us either. Besides, it can create a lot of misunderstandings if they bring so many spaceships here."

Nathan narrowed his eyes. "I see."

The emperor stood up and glared at Nathan. "If it’s a punishment, then let it be just my head."

"Y-Your Majesty!" Devonio was shocked and panicked. "No, no. If what you want is a head, then let it be mine!"

"I have all the authority of the empire, so I’m responsible for everything." The emperor continued, trying to convince Nathan.

Nathan sighed and looked at them coldly before saying, "I know what you’re trying to imply, Machina.

"From the looks of it, it’s clear that they were planning to attack us. Or else they would have said a different thing.

"However, what do you want me to do?" Nathan actually asked Machina.

Machina looked at Nathan. Nathan didn’t know whether Machina was surprised or she just hadn’t finished her calculation, since her poker face remained.

This was actually Nathan’s consideration. He knew Machina had worked hard. Besides, this action could lead to a lot of things.

"Are you sure, Master?"

"Yeah." Nathan nodded. "You are now mine, so I will consider your request."

Machina fell silent for a moment before suggesting, "May I request that you pardon them? I might have been abandoned, but the empire created me.

"I’d like to do this much for them. However, I know that this body of mine was created by them, so I think defeating the alien is more than enough compensation for them. Without this alien, they can expand more because they will have more energy for other things.

"However, pointing their arms toward you is unforgivable. We need to punish them. Maybe we have them do something for you, Master?"

Nathan crossed his arms as though he were considering her request. "Even if I tell them to do something, won’t they just know everything? I mean, they have all that surveillance system."

"I will monitor them directly and erase all traces after that." Machina looked at the emperor. "I’m sure that the emperor will allow that much, right?"

The emperor gritted her teeth. Even if she wanted to reject it, there was no other choice if she didn’t want the empire to be destroyed.

"Yes. I will grant you the main access to the system."

"Master, your ability can even make me tell you nothing but the truth. I believe that you can at least trust me to follow your instructions, Master. I belong to you now."

Nathan nodded in understanding. "All right. Let’s settle it that way."

Devonio and the emperor were shocked that Nathan actually respected the suggestion, even though he had won. If not for Machina, Nathan’s plan might go awry, so Nathan’s concession was unexpected.

"Thank you very much, Master!" Machina lowered her head.
