Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1717: Powerful Foes

Chapter 1717: Powerful Foes

"We are from Nahalen City. We are here to assist you."

Nathan could see the courage in their eyes. At the same time, he knew that they feared these aliens. They were simply too strong and massive for them to handle.

They ignored the fact that Nathan could summon beasts instead of humanoid familiars. In the end, Nathan was fighting these powerful aliens. They just believed that Nathan was the enemy of the aliens, which was enough for them to act.

Nathan turned back to the aliens as if he was observing them. He just didn’t want them to see him speak or they would realize he came from a different continent. It would surely create unnecessary confusion.

Nathan said, "The aliens are too strong for all of you. Leave them to me. The best you can do right now is to evacuate the citizens. They’re distracting me."

"!!!" They were surprised. Some of them believed they were strong enough to at least assist, but their opinions soon changed.

"Raaaaa!" Nidhogg raised his power to the maximum and released his breath, burning the side of the alien.

Fenrir spat out a ball of absolute force that felt like it shook the entire world upon contact.

Xolotl activated his domain and stood at the top of his throne. This time, the domain had been refined further. It was an independent skull throne that stood in the air.

The moment Xolotl waved his hand, a bolt of lightning shot out and a black fire erupted from the lightning. It pushed the alien back.

Garuda was also using his power. The sky gradually turned dark and created a massive swirl as though Heaven itself was angry at the world.

Lastly, Tiamat flapped her wings and sent forth a massive chaos energy that burst and destroyed everything within a one-kilometer radius. It looked like a normal flip, making them think that Tiamat could send an even more powerful strike.

After seeing all these powers, they realized that even with their Gigant, it wouldn’t be enough to do anything. As Nathan said, the best thing to do was to evacuate the city and protect the citizens. That would help Nathan focus.

The barrier turned out to be intended to protect them. That was why they understood their mission.

"Follow me! We are evacuating the city. Make sure to do it fast and save as many people as possible! Protect them so that they don’t get hit by a random shock wave from this fight!" One of them shouted.

Nathan didn’t know the person’s identity, nor did he intend to find out. After they left, Nathan headed to the humanoid alien. He had to assist Tiamat in killing the alien.

Considering he was the top priority for safety, everyone agreed that Nathan had to go with Tiamat. This way, Tiamat could protect him whenever necessary.

"Let’s go!" Nathan took a deep breath. In the past few months, he had formed his second rule.

’The space and time are not absolute.’

It was a simple rule, but the way he used his element changed forever. Nathan only had heard a bit about general relativity, so he used a bit of that knowledge and formed something that could boost his power.

Unfortunately, there was no gravity element, so he couldn’t distort something like Evelyn.

Still, Nathan didn’t play around with the gravity. Instead, he focused on the timelines.

That was right. Nathan was looking at multiple possibilities constantly. In this reality, the alien raised his club again to hit Tiamat.

In another possibility, he found the alien was swinging horizontally instead.

Hence, Nathan pointed his palm at this humanoid alien and used his power.

"Space-Time Fusion!"

This ability was trying to combine the two timelines together. In other words, he wanted to combine the alien’s arms into one, which created a distortion in reality.

The world was shaking as though the world had just shifted. This crack could be felt directly by the humanoid alien, as its arms felt like they were breaking apart.

Still, as one would expect from a divine body. It emitted its power and neutralized this force. If it were any other aliens, this ability would have at least torn one of their arms.

Unfortunately, this wasn’t enough for his opponent this time.

After that, the alien changed the swing to Nathan, trying to kill him first because of his troublesome ability.

Nathan didn’t run. Mae suddenly moved to his way, and her tails grew many times in size.

She raised her bamboo fan and opened it. The club hit her, but it stopped a few meters above her as though there was an invisible and invincible wall above her.

"This club... Is it even real?" Mae smiled.

The club started to crumble, startling the alien. It stepped back and hurriedly covered the club with the black cell to restore it.

Kun then slammed the humanoid alien from behind as if sending it back to Nathan and Mae.

But this was when he flapped his fins to flick his body up. Meanwhile, Tiamat released a breath from each head, corroding the alien’s power and stopping its momentum.

With the unstable position, the alien couldn’t protect itself from this attack. The breath pushed the alien back and the skin of the alien began to crack.

Still, the alien manifested its power again and neutralized her breath for a few seconds, allowing the alien to strike back.

Tiamat caught the club, but she was overpowered by the alien and knocked to the ground. Massive cracks formed because of it before forming a massive crater.

"Now, I’m mad." Tiamat glared at the alien. With 50 million ena in her body, she had regained her divine body and godhood. She wasn’t someone who would be defeated by an alien, even though the aliens were generally stronger at the same level.

Before Tiamat could attack, Nathan could hear a report from Noelle. "I spotted another alien... No, there are two! They had just destroyed Saxarina City. I need some assistance."

"On my way," Luna replied. The only way to fight these aliens was to rely on the true gods, who had at least 25 million ena in their bodies. However, people like Luna and Evelyn, who had formed all their divine rules and were about to forge their divine body, were also qualified as challengers. That was why Nathan split them up.

Still, it also meant that this city wasn’t the only target. There might be more aliens coming to this continent.
