Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1667: Retreat

Chapter 1667: Retreat

"Ice. I am its king."

Nathan unleashed his Soul Contract with the absolute ice element. The power of this element far surpassed the power Nathan had used in the past.

Although Nathan couldn’t use his divine rule for this power, he could utilize the strong property of the ice element.

Nathan raised his hand and waved it to the side. In that instant, the entire battlefield was covered in ice.

This power spread so wide that it looked like there was an ice city outside the fortress.

People couldn’t help but widen their eyes. This was the first time they saw Nathan’s fight, but even those who had fought with Nathan before never saw him using the ice element.

Many aliens failed to escape from the ice, while other elite class aliens were doing their best to neutralize this power.

However, Nathan didn’t stop at this level. He went one step further and made another contract.

Absolute Flame.

Yes, Nathan gained another absolute element.

He raised his hand as a fireball formed. He activated his time element to combine multiple fireballs into a single eruption.

Then, he used his space element to send it to the middle of the battlefield.

"Destructive Flame."

He used this flame like a void bullet, but because of its property, the fireballs would join each other and create a bigger blaze.

It burned the aliens, reducing them to ashes.

Seeing his power, the elite class aliens chose to go on the offensive, not letting Nathan make another move.

Nathan first used the absolute ice to weaken them. When they used their power to negate the absolute ice’s power, he would then use the opposite power to neutralize them.

When they split their concentration between both elements, Nathan used his space and time elements to destroy them.

Thanks to these two new elements, the aliens would have a hard time stopping him. They didn’t have enough numbers to prevent him from killing them one by one.

As a result, they asked for more elite class aliens to come in their direction. As a result, Nathan ended up facing the same number of aliens as Tiamat. He might not be as dangerous, but Nathan reached this level relying on his trickery.

With more pressure on the aliens, his familiars would be there to take advantage of it.

In addition, Selena and Iris were doing their jobs so well that the pressure was reduced further.

Sera focused on her support abilities, but she had several familiars who could focus on fighting. She pushed as hard as possible, exerting an intense pressure on the enemy’s side.

Alavenya actually played a similar role to Noelle.

Both of them were usually Selena’s targets of support. Whenever they had a chance to turn the situation around, they would kill the aliens as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately, Alavenya didn’t have the divine rule yet, so her pace was slower than Noelle’s.

Still, Alavenya killed a lot of enemies on this battlefield.

Flora, on the other hand, used her overwhelming firepower to crush the aliens just as Nathan did.

If the alien didn’t take her attack, her attack would continue to the ground or to the other aliens.

If it touched the ground, it would explode and engulf numerous aliens. If it hit other aliens, it would still drag a lot of nearby aliens.

The elite class aliens were forced to stop her attack, but they would be injured by her powerful attack. It would only be a matter of time before she killed them.

Bella, on the other hand, maintained control of this battlefield.

She was never on the offensive, but it didn’t mean she was at the disadvantage.

She focused on using her illusion to distract the elite class aliens coming for her, while maintaining another illusion that would fool lower-level aliens. These lower-level aliens would have a hard time reaching the others.

If not for her effort, two or three of them would probably have been overwhelmed by the sheer number of the lower-level aliens.

Vivian, on the other hand, completely dominated her battlefield.

She used her domain to create a forest, trapping so many aliens inside. Any aliens that entered this forest would die and become its nutrient.

Even the elite class aliens had a hard time breaking this forest as it continued to grow and repair itself when damaged.

Vivian’s battlefield was the most dominating. Thanks to her defensive abilities, she could take on more aliens than the rest of the team. Although she had yet to kill any, these aliens wouldn’t escape from here.

As one would expect, Luna and Evelyn overpowered the enemies. Evelyn had two elements and two divine rules, so her strength was equal to Nathan’s, but there weren’t as many aliens coming toward her.

This situation allowed her to rack up the kills. She might end up killing the most elite class aliens at this rate.

Luna, on the other hand, was the most powerful as an individual, as she had three rules. She even had a pseudo divine body, which was her heart.

Unfortunately, the number of aliens she had to take care of was higher than Evelyn’s, so she needed more time to take down her enemies compared to Evelyn.

Nathan’s team progressed at a good pace, but as expected, it was still a huge burden for the soldiers to face off against so many aliens.

"We are in trouble!" Regina shouted, grinding her teeth. "The defense line is going to collapse soon!"

"!!!" Nathan received the report from the communication ring. He glanced at them and realized that the aliens had started coming to the wall. If it continued, the defense on the wall would be overrun by the aliens. They needed to retreat.

Nathan ordered, "Proceed according to the plan. Evelyn, I need the portal."

Evelyn was quite surprised that they fell so quickly. She felt as though only an hour or two had passed, but it couldn’t be helped.

Evelyn rushed back, meaning the aliens that fought Evelyn would be directed to other people.

Knowing that the situation had gone awry, Nathan activated his power to the maximum, trying to hold off both the aliens that attacked him and the ones going for Evelyn.
