Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1621: Too Big

Chapter 1621: Too Big

They teleported to the first rendezvous point. Although they had made a couple of teleportation circles, Nathan thought chasing them from behind would be the best approach.

First, it wouldn’t force the aliens to go past them to attack the human race. Second, Nathan could teleport in the opposite direction, passing them directly to confuse them. For a large army, it would be hard for them to turn around.

Last but not least, Nathan just wanted to launch the first attack.

So, they teleported to the first rendezvous point, realizing that the entire area had been bulldozed. The octopus was so big that it left a 100-meter-wide trail on the ground.

“How big is the enemy again?” Bella couldn’t help but ask.

“Not too big? The size is about half of Kun, I guess?” Nathan smiled.

“…” The girls were stupefied. They knew Kun and what he was capable of with that size. The only ones who had seen them were Noelle, Selena, and Iris. But Selena and Iris were stationed far away before, so they couldn’t see the real size.

Still, an alpha class alien with four rules at that size was unimaginable.

Nathan waved. “Anyway, it’s time for us to go. Since we’re fighting them like this, summon all your familiars right now. Proceed with caution. Just remember to stay away from it, and if you think you’re already far enough, you probably don’t.”

They wanted to roll their eyes, but the warning felt much more understandable after seeing the trails.

So, they followed Nathan’s instructions.

“Tiamat?” Nathan asked.

“Yes. Move forward. The distance should be about 20 Kuns?”

“…” Kun blinked his eyes in disbelief. “Why are you guys using me as a measurement? I am not a ruler.”

They just chuckled at his words. In the end, the group moved quickly, chasing after the enemy.

It didn’t take them too long before they could see a big dot in the distance. The closer they were, the clearer they could see it.

The form soon shocked everyone. The octopus was indeed big. It was bigger than any aliens they had fought so far.

In addition, the tentacles could stretch far. If they were not careful, they would be smashed by those tentacles.

“There it is!” Tiamat narrowed her eyes.

As expected of an alpha class alien, it was able to sense the threat to its life so quickly. It turned around to check the threats, finding Nathan and the others.

Still, due to its size, just turning around alone would take a long time, not to mention that the alien ended up crushing many other aliens during that motion.

In addition, Nathan had gotten close enough to launch the first attack.

“Go!” Nathan shouted. He created Destructive Bullets and sent them forward.

Tiamat gathered her energy into her mouth before releasing her breath. Xolotl had turned back to his animal form and raised his right hand. “Lightning of Death.”

Garuda rose into the sky and flapped his wings. “Immortal Storm.”

Of course, Nathan wasn’t the only one attacking. Luna had merged with Rakusha. “1st Ex-Formation, Genesis Cannon.”

“Spatial Disaster!”

The alien raised its tentacles to block Tiamat’s breath. However, Garuda’s storm made everything even more chaotic. It was even sucking the power of breath to create a terrifying chaos tornado.

At the same time, Xolotl targeted the tentacles with his lightning instead of the alien.

As a result, the lightning blasted down the tentacles, allowing the breath to hit the alien’s body.

Genesis Cannon and Spatial Disaster then hit from the inside. Many aliens tried to use their bodies to stop them, but they were not enough to stop the all-out attacks from Evelyn and Luna.

Boom!

The Genesis Cannon burst upon hitting the alpha class alien. The Spatial Disaster had caused a massive earthquake, with the alien being the epicenter of this earthquake.

The alien ended up getting pushed back, but they were a bit surprised that even with all their attacks, the alien didn’t seem to be that injured.

They were able to push it back, but there was not much damage on the surface.

“Hmm?” Evelyn frowned.

As soon as the attack was gone, the alien stretched its tentacles toward them.

“Get ready!” Nathan warned them.

The girls finally understood what it meant by “not far enough.” The aliens could really reach them. If they were not far enough, they would be smacked by these colossal tentacles.

At the same time, if they were not close enough, the rest of the aliens would attack Nathan and the others.

They were in an annoying situation.

Selena understood why she was in charge of the second group. “I am giving you a task. First, make sure you stay away from it, but not too far. The aliens will most likely target us, so get ready to escape.

“As such, I will divide the group further. Noelle, Bella, and I will be in the first group. Vivian, Flora, and Alavenya will be in the second group.

“If the tentacles are coming, retreat immediately. Noelle, Alavenya, you two will be the vanguards.

“I and Flora will be the additional firepower. If it’s one tentacle, we might still be able to deflect it as long as we combine our powers.

“Vivian and Bella will be an additional support. In the case we have to retreat, you will control the movements of the lower-level aliens. Make sure to eliminate or confuse as many of them as possible to buy enough time for us to retreat and return.

“We have to make sure the three of them can focus on their fight. Iris, you will be alone this time. However, your role will be the most crucial. While we’re retreating, you are the only ones that can hit the lower-level aliens.

“Hence, get ready to bombard them whenever we’re about to retreat.

“Also, maintain a wide vision. There are elite class aliens. They may have gotten used to this alpha class alien, so they must be matching the alpha class alien. We will have to kill them as well. Don’t be too reliant on flying because it won’t take much for the alpha class alien to hit you even if you’re in the air. Understood?”
