Chapter 1310: Yin Yang Domain
Chapter 1310: Yin Yang Domain
“That is correct. Your heart is your core.” She nodded. “Hence, you don’t have to cultivate the core from the start. Instead, repurposing them.”
Evelyn formed a ball of ena on her palm. “Consider this your core. If you repurpose the energy…”
Evelyn broke a large chunk of the ball. “You can consider this large piece as nonexistent. In other words, if you have, for example, a million ena, you will need 30% of those to be the reserve for your domain.
“When you fight normally without a domain, you can only fight with seven hundred thousand ena. What if you decide to get power from the other piece?”
Nathan frowned. “Breaking the domain? But we are not using it…”
“Yes, but if you want to use the domain later, you can’t use it unless you repair it. Repairing it won’t be simple because your domain is unstable due to the damaged foundation. It will be like recreating your domain if you want to repair it.
“Hence, there are three types of people. The first type will be people who proceed and create their domains fully aware of this risk. The second type will be people who choose not to create the domains even if they can make one, simply because either their fighting style is not suitable or they don’t want to have such a bother.
“The third type is just a clueless person or a coward.” Evelyn shrugged.
“Can the domain be cultivated?”
“Yes.” Evelyn walked to the wooden pillar. “Think of this as a domain. If I pinch this wood and break a part of it, it can’t be repaired, right? You can only remake it. However, if I add a block on top of this pillar, it will be like an addition. This is what I mean by using the domain’s ena and cultivating the domain respectively.”
“I see.” Nathan understood the idea.
“This is the core alone. If you want to make one, you just have to create a core in your heart by using the ena gathered there. It is pretty difficult to do but the concept itself is fairly simple.”
“That’s fair.” Nathan nodded.
“In that case, let’s move on to how we are able to give that core the power we desire from a domain.”
“Infusing them with elements?”
Evelyn nodded. “You are correct, but your case is special.”
“Ah!” Nathan forgot about it. If it were here, nothing would change because her element would be consistent. On the other hand, he would have to switch the element core from time to time.
“After hearing your situation from Xolotl…” Evelyn raised two fingers. “You just have to make the core pure. Hence, by switching your element core, you will be able to infuse the core with its respective domain.”
Nathan crossed his arms. “Do you mean I should just create a channel from my element cores to this domain core?”
“It looks like you get it. But to be perfectly safe, how about calling all the related familiars? Hmm, Fenrir, Anubis, Jinwu, Xolotl… and Mae!”
“Mae?” Nathan didn’t think Mae had a domain even though her ability was similar to a domain. But her knowledge was deep, since she was the one who had been helping her with his elements.
So, Nathan agreed and summoned the five familiars. He told them everything, including their plans.
Xolotl didn’t find any mistakes. “You can proceed that way.”
“That is actually good enough. The process might be different from a normal domain, but it should accommodate your condition.” Anubis nodded.
“There is no problem with the concept itself,” confirmed Jinwu.
“What you need is stability. I’m more concerned about you changing your element core midfight, which also changes the nature of the domain. It might surprise your enemy, but it can also endanger you if you’re not careful,” explained Mae.
“In that case, why not make it like Yin and Yang?” Fenrir asked. “You told me about the concept before.”
Fenrir drew the Yin and Yang diagram.
“Consider the white part your time element and the black part your space element. This black eye is the channel to your space element. So, when the core changes to a space element, there will be an influx of the space element, which will dye the entire white part to black, and vice versa.”
“Oohh!” The ones who were surprised were not Nathan or Evelyn. They were Anubis and the others.
They were staring at Fenrir as if something had possessed him.
“To think even this guy can even come up with such a decent idea.” Anubis gasped.
“What the fuck?” Fenrir raised his voice. “Do you want to fight?”
“Even though you are a fenrir…” Jinwu rolled his eyes.
“I am Fenrir, not a fucking race!” Fenrir gritted his teeth.
“It looks like coming to this world is not a bad idea.” Xolotl nodded in amusement. “To think that after such a long time, I discover something new. This might even become a new concept that will give birth to my own domain. I guess I have to thank you, little Fenrir.”
“!!!” Everyone was surprised. Xolotl originally came here for both the karma Nathan possessed as well as the fight against aliens. The others had accepted that they might be able to learn a thing or two in this world.
It looked like Xolotl was able to find it so soon.
“But can you not call me little Fenrir?” Fenrir’s eyebrows twitched.
“Really? I can do that, but are you really going to use this favor for such a little thing? I thought I could help you against these guys one time…” Xolotl smirked.
Anubis and Jinwu suddenly froze. Fenrir, on the other hand, had his face lit up. “You can?”
“If you want…” Xolotl didn’t have to complete his sentence because he got the answer just from looking at his eyes.
“No, wait. Don’t do it! This won’t be a fair fight if you join!” Anubis and Jinwu tried to stop him.
“Summoner!” Xolotl smirked. It looked like he managed to fit in perfectly, as he knew what to do in this situation. “Helping the summoner is something natural, so no one will consider it a debt. However, helping another summoner is a different thing. Don’t you think I deserve a simple reward?”
Anubis and Jinwu panicked. The moment anyone used Nathan as their card, it was over.
“I have helped heal other people. Can we just consider it even?” Anubis persuaded Nathan, reminding him of his role.
“I… I…” Jinwu, on the other hand, had nothing to do. “I can become your eyes to sneak a peek at the women’s bath!”
Evelyn’s eyebrows twitched as she was glaring at Nathan.
“Guys… Can we just do this peacefully?” Nathan smiled wryly.
Mae could only facepalm. Even though they were doing this, she knew the next day, they would still look at each other’s back. She couldn’t comprehend how these guys could even jab the other in the gut and still work together as if nothing happened. She murmured, “Maybe this was what my teacher said… Boys will be boys…”
