“I am Lightning!” Revon’s eyes shone as though the lightning itself filled up his entire body. The two fists collided.
Revon’s energy soared through his fist, causing a huge shock wave underwater. However, the big fist actually produced enough force to withstand Revon’s powerful punch.
Now that Revon had been stopped, other aliens charged toward Revon, trying to take advantage of his momentary weakness to get rid of him.
As if knowing what would happen, Bella activated her illusion, creating a wall around Revon to stop the aliens.
The aliens continued onward, overpowering the illusion with sheer numbers.
Bella’s familiars rushed forth and hit the left side. Meanwhile, Nathan’s familiars caught up and blocked the right side. Now that nothing could approach Revon, Revon’s familiars combined their power and deflected the elite class alien’s fist.
Revon approached the alien to take a closer look at its true form. But even he was quite shocked when he saw a massive alien among them. The alien itself might not be as big as Kun, but it was definitely about 70% of his size.
More importantly, this alien was a humanoid one. It had many tentacles on its back along with a pair of wings.
The appearance of the alien alone was quite terrifying, but the size made them feel like it could crush them with just a slap.
And that was what this alien did. It waved its hand, generating a circular current that gradually turned into a massive whirlpool.
“Kh!” Revon had a hard time maintaining his balance inside the whirlpool. Revon wasn’t the only one sucked into the whirlpool. Other aliens followed along while Vivian grabbed the rest of their people with her roots before pulling them away.
“Is this the alien’s special ability?” Bella raised her head in confusion. She knew that starting from the elite class, the alien began to have a unique ability.
Nevertheless, such an attack never worked against her. The moment the whirlpool was about to suck her, Bella clapped her hands.
The whirlpool suddenly turned into numerous flower petals as though it had just been an illusion in the first place.
“Now that the battlefield had returned to normal, Revon regained his posture and kicked the water, propelling himself toward the alien.
The elite class alien’s eyes abruptly shone, startling Revon. He could sense something in front of him, so he chose to punch forward, only to find out that the water became hard as though there was a thick layer of transparent ice.
Even his power couldn’t pierce this block of transparent ice. Still, the rest of the familiars continued from different directions. This was the only advantage the humans had against the aliens.
Revon might feel excited during the fight, but he knew the sea wasn’t the type of environment where he could find the biggest excitement. Hence, there was no need to play it in the usual way. As long as the alien died, he could have his fun later.
Unfortunately, all familiars also stopped in their tracks, hitting the barriers in front of them.
’So, this is the alien’s unique ability. It can condense something like a barrier. Maybe it’s hardening the water or something. Either way, we can’t pierce through its defense like this…’
Revon frowned. Even though he was an arcane level summoner, his actual strength was close to that of a world class summoner. In fact, he was the closest to becoming a world-class summoner, even more than Vivian.
Seeing his attack was unusable made him realize that the elite class alien was much stronger than a normal elite class alien. In addition, it was in an environment that he wasn’t unfamiliar with.
Of course, if Revon could see this, Nathan could see it too.
“Let’s go with plan C,” Nathan muttered.
“Got it.” Mae nodded before using her illusion to transmit the change of plan into other people’s minds.
“!!!” Once they received the plan, they moved forward according to the instructions. Their formation changed this time. Originally, it was Revon and Bella who were tasked with taking down the elite class alien while the rest dealt with the overwhelming number of aliens.
But this time, Nathan sent forth Vivian and Melissa alongside those two. In other words, Evelyn, Neyeid, Sonia, Nathan, and Christopher had to somehow stop the remaining aliens.
Evelyn was the first one to make her move. As soon as she reached her position, Evelyn activated both of her domains at the same time.
’Space and Gravity Domain Fusion!’ Evelyn started to change the pull within her domain, forming her own whirlpool. It sucked so many aliens, pulling the majority away from Revon and the others.
Sonia and Neyeid unleashed their respective attacks toward the whirlpool, cutting down as many aliens as they could.
Meanwhile, Nathan positioned himself between this group and the other, becoming the last wall that separated the elite class alien from the rest of the aliens. Christopher was with him, both to protect him and to boost his power.
Nathan changed his bullets from the normal ones to explosive bullets. Even within the water, the new explosive bullets produced a powerful explosion, not losing to the magic circles that Melissa used earlier.
Thanks to Evelyn gathering most of them, Nathan didn’t have a lot of targets anymore.
Seeing the human’s change of plan, the elite class alien formed a few barriers, locking Revon and the others inside.
Unfortunately, Mae was there. There was a countdown transmitted directly into their minds.
Once it reached zero, all of them attacked at the same time. Since the elite class alien had to spread its power not only on the humans but also on the familiars, it stretched its power thin. So, Revon and the others could break the barrier just fine.
In addition, Melissa and Vivian had been added to the team.
Vivian first formed massive roots all around the aliens. Her familiars actually infused their own ena into these roots, forming things according to their power, from spikes to flowers.
Melissa raised her forefinger and middle finger. Several magic circles of different colors appeared before her.
“Please.”
Revon struck one magic circle with all his power, transmitting his lightning.
The lightning suddenly split into five and hit other magic circles. Those magic circles amplified its power and fused again, creating an even stronger attack. The lightning strike turned into five-colored lightning that spiraled toward the alien.
