Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1042: Organ Sacrifice

Chapter 1042: Organ Sacrifice

“!!!” Nathan widened his eyes in shock. Evelyn died? She was the strongest person among them, so she wasn’t supposed to die if they wanted to succeed in this subjugation.

After all, the moment Evelyn died, Garam would come for them. Still, all of them, including Flora and Mae, should have known this fact.

Yet, they still gave this information to him. The alien might trick them with this illogical nonsense. At the same time, there might be something he hadn’t considered.

If there was indeed a possibility where Evelyn died but the mission was considered successful, both Evelyn and Garam might kill each other in one way or another.

When Nathan considered this possibility, one conclusion appeared in his mind. And it wasn’t something he would like to see.

Obviously, if Evelyn died, the sea expedition would come to a halt. Even though Revon was quite strong, the one leading them was Evelyn. Evelyn was such a leader that the moment she was removed, the group crumbled.

The problem was that Mae told him that the only person who could change the situation was him.

Everyone would certainly have the same question. How? Nathan was just a grandmaster level summoner. Meanwhile, Evelyn was a world class summoner. There was no way for him to interfere in the battle between two world class summoners.

’Are you serious? I can’t save Evelyn. The extent of my help is the information and plan,” replied Nathan.

’I don’t know as well, Master. But according to Bella, everything was reasonable. It looked like the aliens knew us even before meeting us, like a divination. They don’t know what you look like, but they know you exist…’

’…’ Nathan’s expression turned grim. He couldn’t help but think of another possibility, but to get that information, an outer god would have been involved.

From what he had known, especially from the research, the aliens were split into two. The black cell controlled the first faction, while the aliens who didn’t have the black cell tried to resist.

But he didn’t know more than that, such as how many aliens had been controlled by the black cell or even which outer gods had fallen.

Nathan wanted to dismiss it as them getting tricked by the alien. At the same time, the possibility of Evelyn dying concerned him the most. After all, if he wanted to find any aliens in the sea or even on another continent, he needed Evelyn to be alive.

Hence, Nathan had no other choice but to take the alien’s bait. He didn’t know what purpose the alien had when releasing this information, but there was no other choice. The stakes were simply too high.

Still, even if he wanted to change the plan, he had to take down Iskar by himself. At first, he wanted to play it safe by dealing some damage from time to time, weakening him gradually before taking his life.

But it looked like he didn’t have the time required to weaken him. Nathan gave an order through telepathy. “Mae. Our plan remains the same. Kill the opponent in front of us first. However, I will shorten the time limit from 20 minutes to 5 minutes.

“Do whatever you can to take down your opponents within five minutes. I don’t know how I can even save Evelyn from a battle between two world class summoners, but we can discuss it later.”

“Understood.” Mae received the order and Peng sent this order to everyone.

Since the plan had changed, all of them had to go all out. Even if they got heavily injured, they had no choice as long as they could take down their opponents much faster.

Since the decision had been made, Nathan’s expression changed. He leaped toward Iskar, who managed to catch some breath as Nathan was slightly distracted.

Fortunately, Anubis and Qilin managed to keep up the pressure to a certain extent.

Seeing Nathan increase the intensity of his attack, Iskar looked even more frustrated, knowing that his life was in danger.

Nathan summoned multiple bullets while using his Time Object to stop them from flying forward.

In the meantime, he ran toward Iskar as Anubis and Qilin had just blocked another attack from Iskar.

“Annoying!” Iskar gritted his teeth. He raised his hand as a huge amount of black ena emerged from his body. It gathered above him and turned into a skull shape.

“!!!” Anubis noticed what was going on, especially when Iskar’s hand suddenly dropped. “Watch out!”

Anubis activated his ankh as the skull suddenly released a beam from the eye sockets. His barrier shattered in an instant.

Qilin formed the hexagram to block it, but the result remained the same.

“Use your trump card. That curse is different from anything you’ve seen so far!” warned Anubis, panicking.

“!!!” Nathan didn’t understand what was going on, but the fact that it could pierce through Anubis and Qilin’s defenses in an instant had shown how powerful it was.

That was why Nathan activated the first trump card, which was the Soul Contract for the blink ability. He once used this to win against Evelyn.

Unlike the previous way of using the Soul Contract, the Contract Storage allowed him to use the contracts without the need for keywords.

Hence, Nathan’s figure suddenly disappeared into thin air.

“Huh?” Iskar widened his eyes in shock, not knowing what Nathan had just done. How could a person disappear all of a sudden?

The next thing he realized, there was a presence forming behind him. Iskar hurriedly spun his body while swinging his scepter. It was there he met Nathan, ducking to avoid the scepter. Then, Nathan punched him in the gut. “Dragon Fist.”

“Gah!” Iskar spat out a mouthful of blood as his eyes rolled back for a second as though he was about to pass out.

The punch blew him toward the bullets as Nathan activated the Time Object magic circle. “Time Object. Release!”

All those bullets immediately shot forth. However, as Anubis said, there was something different about this curse. The black beam suddenly curved and headed toward Nathan as though it couldn’t be stopped until it reached the target.

“Watch out. That curse is made by sacrificing his organ, and this time, his left arm!” Anubis warned him with much more detailed information this time.
