Chapter 139: I Have A Plan

Torq could feel it instinctively, of the fact that in terms of the body, mind, and soul, he was now connected to Runthral.

Runthral’s body was the Empyrean Spirit Snapper. His mind and soul also resided within the Empyrean Spirit Snapper. And through the bridge they shared, which had been basically manifested through Prana was the Secondary Nature.

The Secondary Nature was the bridge between the two, making the Empyrean Spirit Snapper special in that it too was sharing Torq’s burden.

Runthral was an Empyrean Snapper, so he hadn’t changed in any way whatsoever after becoming the Empyrean Spirit Snapper. Since it was his natural state, there was no influence to bear.

That way, from Torq’s perspective, his Secondary Nature was free of influence. It wouldn’t affect him in any way whatsoever. And atop that, it shouldered the burden of his Primary and Tertiary Natures.

Tertiary Nature–Astral Pool!

Of course, unlike Raurau’s version, Torq’s Astral Pool was only capable of storing two Spirit Pools. It was stabler this way, and didn’t fragment his mind.

Raurau’s Astral Pool could store three Spirit Pools, since it was established using the Bhirully, which had three Spirit Containers.

In Torq’s makeup, it was considered as a bipartite, two-in-one package. Torq had one Spirit Pool, and Runthral had one Spirit Pool, adding to a total of two.

It was the arrangement here, allowing for the storage of two Spirit Pools in Astral Pool. Of course, either party could use the two Spirit Pools.

Currently, the Inertial Waves Spirit Pool had become part of Astral Pool. However, unlike in Raurau’s case where an intricate balance had to be maintained for Astral Pool to function without issues, Torq didn’t have such worries.

While he bore the burden of a Spirit Pool, Runthral could bear the burden of the other. Therefore, even if they were imbalanced, his Spirit Container wouldn’t shatter. The influence, of course, would turn him insane and cause a myriad of physical issues in his being.

As long as he navigated through the pros and cons better, he could end up becoming overpowered. After all, since he had the Empyrean Snapper Pet, it meant he now had direct access to the Spirit pools of both Lightning Plasma and Subtle Terrain Domination.

It was an overpowered combination, which he could obtain merely by consuming the Empyrean Snapper Pet.

But that wasn’t all. The biggest advantage he obtained thanks to the combination of the three Natures was the fact that he could remove his Spirit Pools fully. Since he could have two Spirit Pools in his Astral Pool, as long as he had one, he could fully remove the second Spirit Pool and then replace it with a new Spirit Pool.

Of course, the ejection process wasn’t instant. And the new Spirit Pool had to be built up from scratch, just like every other Cooter Clansman, which was a slow and time-consuming process that also required a lot of resources.

This was where he had a cheat. The moment he were to have a Spirit Pool with the power of Subtle Terrain Domination, his Spirit Snapper would become no different to an Empyrean Snapper.

Empyrean Snappers were natural creators of Spirit Pool. Since this was internal, Torq could take advantage of Subtle Terrain Domination to act upon the Spirit Pool he consumes using his Primary Nature, and let his Secondary Nature take charge of building it up into his Spirit Container.

As long as he has enough resources, he would be able to quickly build his strength through the Body Stage. ’I have a Mystic Human skin with me, which will become a Pet once I charge it up.’

The Mystic Human Pet will have a Spirit Eater form, which can generate Parute Fruits for him. Basically, he could obtain a steady stream of resources to build up his Spirit Container.

And as long as he finds a place with Spirit Moss, he doesn’t have to worry about reinforcing his Spirit Container to handle the growth in strength either. He’ll be able to quickly rise through the ranks, ’No wonder Father was at the 10-Life Stage. With his combination of abilities, he can quickly rise through the ranks.’

The moment he thought about Raurau, sadness permeated his being, causing his mind to grow sluggish and distracted in response. He could only focus on distracting himself as much as possible and become excited about the prospects of growing stronger as quickly as possible.

While she had been waiting, Eureur Pet had been silently boring a path downward through the hull, enough to drop the submarine right into the sea. She worked without making it obvious, while also making arrangements for the collapsed section to fit right back into the gap.

As long as her cut is sharp enough, just pushing the pieces back would weld them together, thanks to Gentle Coral’s properties.

Eureur Pet’s attention fell on the sudden surge in Prana nearby, noticing an extremely thin needle appear in Torq’s palm. She noticed her Prana detection means failing to grasp the needle’s position, for nothing got registered in her skin prickles.

It felt like the void that she was struggling to grasp, ’That is incredible!’

“A good hit from this, and the Quill can indeed be damaged.” Torq explained, “However, it’s not fast enough. The Centinger will be able to easily evade it.”

“So,” He grinned, “I have a plan.”

“Oh?” Eureur Pet raised an eyebrow, and subconsciously, upon seeing Torq’s confidence, she began to grin with a savage intent, “My son…”

“Yes?” Torq responded.

“I’m proud of you.” Eureur Pet was all smiles. And a few minutes since she said that, the Centinger barged into their cabin room.
