Chapter 130: Seed Of Tragedy (Part 6)

Billakin, was the name of the mineral contained in the heart of the Brully Race. To be exact, the material forming their Spirit Container was called Billakin.

The Brully Race was the sole race on Sumatra with a mineral-based Spirit Container.

Billakin, when built into a Human Avatar by a Free Human, granted the user the ability to forge Spirit Weapons out of any material of their choice.

Primary Nature–Spirit Smith!

Thanks to this property, a Brully could condense a Billakin hammer, treat it as a Spirit Weapon to hammer their arms, which is how they change the arm’s shape.

Also, during this process, if they were to sprinkle a mineral, there is a possibility to transform the hand into a Spirit Weapon, able to fully unleash the effects of the respective mineral.

This process could only succeed if they hammer the mineral in a certain manner. This certain manner is the way the mineral could interact with Prana and unleash its effect.

The one that achieved this was a cultivation technique. This was why there existed a cultivation technique for every mineral. And only with a suitable cultivation technique could the mineral be successfully built into a Human Avatar.

The Brully race had exceptional senses. Adding to their three sets of internal organs, they could enhance their sensory means to depths other Races could never imagine. Thanks to this, they will intuitively figure out the means to hammer with their Billakin Spirit Weapon with the most efficient form to bring out the mineral’s properties best.

If someone were to document this process, they will obtain a complete cultivation technique for the respective mineral.

That was why many cultivation techniques came into existence during the Brully Invasion.

The Bhirully, at the moment, had two Spirit Weapons. Its left hand was made using Rutham, the mineral used by the Brimgan Royals to forge their Human Avatars.

’The fact that it’s not being actively chased by the Brimgan Empire means its Rutham was sourced too long ago in the past, maybe by a Brully multiple generations prior, and had been passed down through time.’ Raurau thought, forming a mental image of the Bhirully.

The Bhirully’s right arm had been turned into a Spirit Weapon using the Pelting Monkeys. Raurau couldn’t bring himself to fully comprehend the involved process, but he knew that this was the secret behind the muscle strands that had kidnapped him.

They belonged to Pelting Monkeys. ’In theory, Pelting Monkeys are weak. Their abilities aren’t valuable on their own either.’

“However,” He muttered, ’Thanks to the boost in psychokinesis and Spirit Weapon range brought about by its Rutham left hand, the Pelting Monkeys it controls as a Spirit Weapon become incomparably dangerous.’

The Pelting Monkeys were like living Spirit Weapons that obeyed the Bhirully’s orders and acted with sentience while the Bhirully moved them through the air.

Thanks to its right arm, the Bhirully could treat the entire race of Pelting Monkeys as its Spirit Weapon. It wanted to actively reforge their forms in battle for greater efficiency. With its Billakin, this was possible.

However, the forging time was too long, and the Pelting Monkeys also failed to endure the process. It was because their bodies weren’t solid, which was all Billakin could work on–solids.

Therefore, the Bhirully wanted a workaround solution. Since the Pelting Monkey bodies were mostly made of fluids, there was indeed a technique best suited to the occasion–Mystic Mist Art.

As long as Billakin could be turned into a Spirit Pool, even if its potency lowered in the process, it will now be capable of forging fluid bodies.

Going a step beyond, the Bhirully wanted the Billakin Spirit Pool to become an Elixir, for by turning it into an Elixir, it will retain properties of Mystic Mist Art that are related to building the Spirit Container with the Spirit Pool through the Body Stage.

Therefore, the Bhirully will obtain a Spirit Weapon that was an Elixir version of a Billakin Spirit Pool. As long as it is consumed by the Pelting Monkey, its body could be morphed according to the situation.

’And this is pretty much what I could figure out until now.’ Raurau thought, ’The Bhirully must have planned greater levels of application for the same, given how long it has been gunning for this power.’

As he continued to think and plan, he was using Mystic Mist Art to flow air through the horn and kept a note of the vibrations it generated in response using his Prana detection means. ’The tune’s pitch isn’t high enough yet.

’I think…this is how it should resound.’ The moment he felt he was getting close to the answer, he stopped, for instinctively, he felt his heart thump in nervousness.

Thump! Thump! THUM…P!

Sweat dripped down his face like a waterfall, for a deepseated sense of fear suddenly plagued him. Suddenly, he noticed a looming shadow covering the region and hurriedly turned around, gasping in shock to see the Bhirully standing right there, merely metres away, ’How? I never noticed its approach!’

’It wasn’t supposed to return in another two days.’ In his shock, he found himself unable to say anything, ’No, this doesn’t make sense!’

“What doesn’t make sense, kid?” The Bhirully smiled and crouched until its face hovered right before Raurau, “Did I return earlier than usual?”

“Or is the fact that I’m able to read your mind what puzzles you the most?” It asked and slightly lifted its head, eyed the sky, and shed tears, “Do you know which fact vexes the Brully Race the most?”

Its tears were like a waterfall that began to fill up the valley as it eyed Raurau, “It’s that there are too many powerful opponents on Sumatra. And a mere millennia is simply not enough to fight even a fraction of them.”

“Thank you for existing,” The tears shed by the Bhirully were actually out of joy, “Even though I cannot become a Transcendent and fight for an eternity, thanks to you, I can still have the best life possible.”

“W-What are you getting at here?” Raurau was afraid, for he noticed he was unable to move anymore. And as if he were a Spirit Weapon, he was lifted into the sky by the Bhirully’s psychokinesis.

“My senses perceive your everything,” The Bhirully uttered, “The twitching of your body’s muscles, the minor fluctuations in your scent based on your hormonal changes, your heat map, etc. I can perceive every minor change that occurs in your body, and after observing you for a while, I know everything about you.”

“How your breathing gets when you’re angry, when asleep, when pissed, when deep in thought. The twitching of your stomach muscles when you experience a setback, your arm movements when you’re excited, your facial expressions, I’ve been observing and collating everything.” The Bhirully approached Raurau in closeup and uttered, “It took me eight months to collect the entirety of your body’s data.”

“And from that point on, based on the fluctuations in your body, I could infer exactly what you’ve been thinking.”

“You…you can’t mean…?” Raurau gasped in horror.

“Yes,” The Bhirully nodded, “You’ve been an open book to me since that point. So, I have been patiently waiting as I watched your progress.”

“I know for a fact you completed my task six months ago.” As the Bhirully uttered, Raurau was horrified to find Mystic Mist Art getting activated through him, “I was anticipating what you intended to do next.”

“There cannot be a bigger reward than this!” The Bhirully roared in excitement as wind churned into the horn designed by Raurau, which began to produce a certain tune. “You’re still a bit far from completing it, but let me do that for you.”

The tune changed and turned into the cries of a baby tusk. And under Raurau’s horror and the Bhirully’s excitement, the cries entered the frequency inaudible to his ears, reaching a frequency specifically audible to one existence.

“Now, let’s summon the Predator!”
