The hint of the unspoken rule was basically an explicit statement now. Even Linda, standing nearby, understood it. She was a bit curious how a lesbian could serve a man???

"You two continue with the rest of the paperwork."

There was still a pile of procedures, taxes, and other issues to handle. Of course, Angler wouldn’t bother with these tedious minor matters, and Ryan wasn’t interested either.

"By the way, Mr. Ryan, please provide your ID for registration. We’ll need a copy on file when processing the property deed."

The newly promoted manager personally handled it. It wasn’t to steal the commission.

Angler had already spoken, so this money was definitely Abigail’s. But after all, this was a big shot that even the boss’s son was fawning over.

She was worried that Abigail, an inexperienced part-timer, might make a mistake as a newbie and cause problems she’d have to answer for.

Ryan said casually, "Linda, give her your ID."

It was the exciting moment. Linda was so excited her face was flushed. With trembling hands, she took out her ID from her bag. Her hand shook so much she almost dropped it. You could imagine how excited she was.

This was a moment she wouldn’t even dare dream of. Was she really about to own the kind of massive luxury villa she’d only ever seen on TV???

"Mr. Ryan, and yours?"

The manager asked with a smile, thinking Ryan wanted to put the villa under both their names.

"Just put it under her name only!!!"

Ryan shook his head decisively and said casually, "No need to put my name on it. Just go ahead and process it."

At that, not only Linda and Abigail were shocked, even the well-experienced Angler was dumbfounded.

Angler was deeply shaken. He was the first to snap out of it and quickly said, "Just do what my brother says. Why waste so many words?"

Angler said eagerly, "Brother, it’s obvious Kai didn’t give you a discount. That bastard really deserves a beating."

"I’ll go to the company tomorrow to apply. I can’t guarantee a 5% discount, but they’ll still give me face for a 2% discount."

Angler thought for a moment and then said, "No, it’s better to have my dad bring it up at the board meeting. I think a 5% discount should be doable."

On a 8 dollar mansion, a 2% discount would save 160,000. A 5% discount would save over 400,000.

That money could buy a house or even several houses in an ordinary community. It was money many people couldn’t save in a lifetime.

Angler was showing full sincerity. After all, his brother had bought the crown jewel of his family’s development. Just talking about it gave him face.

Ryan directly shook his head. "No need. All this little bit of money is such a hassle!!!"

At that, not only Linda and Abigail were shocked, even Angler was dumbfounded.

Hundreds of Thousand Of Dollars. That was not a small amount. If he, Angler, used that much money to buy something that held value, he’d be willing. But if he were to squander it, he’d feel the pain and refuse to part with it.

In Ryan’s mouth, it became a dismissible "little bit of money."

If someone else said that, it might be bragging. But Ryan said it so casually. Just how rich did this guy have to be to be this generous?

Angler snapped out of it and quickly said, "Brother, this is no trouble at all. My own buddy comes to support me, and I can’t even get him a discount."

"If word gets out, I’m the one who’ll lose face. So don’t be polite about it."

Giving someone money and still having to say it so humbly. If anyone else heard this conversation, they’d think these people had gone crazy.

Ryan thought for a moment and said, "Linda, leave your card number then. If there’s a refund, just transfer it to your card."

"Is that... appropriate??"

Linda’s mind was completely blank. Today had been too stimulating for her.

If she actually got a mansion like this and had to pay the mortgage herself, she couldn’t even sell herself to afford it. She hadn’t expected Ryan to just pay in full.

Her head was still spinning. She was even doubting whether this was real. And now he was saying over 400K would go directly to her...

"Nothing inappropriate about it. But just keep that money for yourself. When it comes to buying furniture and appliances, I don’t know if I’ll have time to accompany you."

Ryan said casually, "You can just use my card to pay for it."

Angler was shocked. Ryan patted his shoulder and said, "By the way, Brother Angler, there’s one more thing I need to ask you."

"Brother, why be so formal? Just say it."

Angler immediately turned serious.

Ryan said casually, "That villa is a bit big. Please have someone go clean it first, and help me find a good housekeeper and maid."

"No problem. Leave this small matter to me."

Angler immediately promised solemnly, "A small thing like this, if I couldn’t do it after you asked, then I’d have been wasting my time all these years."

He agreed readily. Ryan smiled and nodded without saying more.

This scene not only made Linda and Abigail’s eyes sparkle with little stars, even Tina, watching secretly from not far away, felt a sharp bitterness in her heart.

Especially with the girls beside her discussing it, she felt so ashamed she wanted to disappear. ℴ

"Damn, I just had my mom check with her stock account. The boss of Tiger Real Estate really is surnamed Taiga, not Kai."

"That bastard Kai fooled us all so badly. That crappy BMW of his looks nice, but it’s not even worth as much as my dad’s Nissan."

"This Taiga is the real deal, the actual young heir of Tiger Real Estate... Look at his presence and aura. How could Kai even compare?"

"Exactly. Kai acted like he’d never seen a woman before."

"But what kind of wealth does Ryan have? He dropped 8 million on a villa just like that and put it directly under Linda’s name."

"Yeah, that’s way too rich. And on top of that, someone with Young Master Taiga’s wealth and status is so respectful to him!!"

"Exactly. Look at how he orders Angler around, so naturally and with such ease. And the key thing is Angler agrees so readily."

Someone called out to the dazed Tina and said, "Tina, what’s going on? Why didn’t Ryan buy the house through you?"

"Exactly. That’s so much in commission..."

The person who said that clearly sounded a bit sour and resentful.

Tina perked up and smiled. "That much is nothing to him."

"As for why he chose Senior Abigail, who knows? Maybe there’s some agreement between them. After all, everyone knows Senior Abigail is a lesbian."

That explanation was very forced and strange. He clearly knew the young heir of the company, yet he let Kai strut around for two days. Something about it was odd no matter how you looked at it.

Leaving Linda behind to handle the paperwork with them, Ryan got into Angler’s car and headed to Hammon’s club.

On the way, he received a message from Tina. He hadn’t replied to yesterday’s message yet, and now she was sending another one. This was the first time in forever.

"Ryan, I kind of want to eat at that street barbecue place at the school’s north gate. Let’s go together tonight, okay?"

This would have been almost impossible before, and her tone was so gentle. This was treatment Ryan had never received.

Ryan replied, "Busy. No time!!"

At least getting a reply was something. At the sales office, Tina felt dazed, like a walking corpse.

Watching Abigail busily helping a beaming Linda from a distance, the bitterness in her heart surged uncontrollably. She had really missed out on such a terrifyingly wealthy young man.

She’d been fooled by a liar like Kai, while Ryan was the real rich man. Even the son of Tiger Real Estate’s boss was so eager to please him.

If she hadn’t been so foolish... this crown jewel villa at X City should have been hers.

The more she thought, the more bitter she felt. Her classmates’ envious looks were the greatest mockery of her. Although no one said anything, she felt like they were all laughing at her behind her back.

Her phone vibrated with a message notification. In an instant, Tina felt like she’d been electrocuted. She held her breath and quickly picked up her phone.
