Chapter 1158: You’re A Madman!

  • Next Chapter

"A ship is coming through!"

A massive dimensional Tear suddenly tore open in the sky above the ship, and the crew members all felt shock pass through their bodies as they saw a Hyperdrive ship coming into this world. The crew members couldn’t believe it. This had to be the last thing that any of them thought would ever happen on a world like this. It was already common knowledge to everyone in the Zeroth Domain that Capri was home to many dangerous beasts, so no one in their right mind would ever think of opening a Dimensional Tear right over the Central Ocean like this unless they wanted to die.

"Man your stations, men! Move!"

A loud voice called out to the crew as a woman appeared from the lower deck. The woman was wearing a long brown trench coat over a T-shirt and black pants. She had short black hair and an eye patch over her left eye that made her seem like a very authentic pirate. Her name was Ronna, and she was the captain of this ship as well as the strongest mage in the Water Threaders pirate crew. But currently, Ronna was looking up at the dimensional tear above her with a look of genuine dread on her face. Ronna knew that the chances of something like this happening were very small. It was nothing but rotten luck that allowed them to be in this location while someone was foolish enough to open a Dimensional Tear in the middle of the fucking Central Ocean.

It wouldn’t be long before this area was filled with all forms of aquatic beasts, and if they didn’t get out of here, then they would all be killed.

The Dimensional Tear above them continued to grow until it was large enough to fit an entire hyperdrive ship, and the water in the region started to churn and ripple with intensity. The ship was nearly thrown on its side from how intense the waves were, and the crew members all had to hold onto something to avoid getting thrown overboard. Ronna looked up with a worried frown as she saw the massive ship coming through, and the moment Ronna saw the mark on the left side of the ship, she felt her eyes widen in shock.

’The Red Skins! What in the world are they doing here!?’

Ronna knew that this ship belonged to the most notorious mercenaries in this part of the Zeroth Domain. But there was no way the Red Skins would come into Capri like this. The Red Skins knew just how dangerous this world was, so why would they do something so foolish? The ship came through the Dimensional Tear fully, and the latch behind the ship opened up to reveal two people standing there. It was a man and a woman, and the two floated off the back of the hyperdrive ship and began descending towards the pirate ship.

Once they left the hyperdrive ship, the ship closed back up, turned around, and left Capri through the same Dimensional Tear it had arrived on. Ronna narrowed her eyes in anger once she saw what had happened, and she began to wonder who in the world these people were. Ronna had met the Red Skins before, and she knew that they were led by the giantess Malovena. Ronna didn’t remember there being people like these in the Red Skins crew.

"We’ll kill the intruders! Just give the order, captain! We’ll kill them!"

"Yeah!"

"We can’t let them get away with that stunt! They’ve called all the monsters towards us!"

The men on the ship were all very agitated, and Ronna saw them brandishing their weapons while preparing for a fight. The men all wanted to kill the two newcomers for causing such a scene, but Ronna immediately called out to the men.

"Wait -!"

[Hands of Providence]!

Before Ronna could move, the man floating above them suddenly raised his hand and activated a strange skill. The darkness all around the ship began to writhe and shake like they had been possessed by some shadowed entity, and in the next moment, thousands of dark hands erupted from the ship and grabbed every single person there. The hands pinned the pirates to the ground, and Ronna let out a grunt of pain as she was sent to her knees immediately. The shadow hands had wrapped around her body very tightly, and she could only move her head to look up at the invaders.

Ronna knew that this would happen. Right from the moment Ronna saw the man, she knew that there was something very wrong here. Ronna was a TITAN Rank III, one of the most powerful TITANs in the entire world of Capri, and she was very confident in her power, but when this pair appeared, something strange had happened. The woman who showed up was giving off TITAN-level power, and Ronna knew that she didn’t have to worry about the woman at all since the woman was only a TITAN Rank II, but the man who came here was absolutely void.

There was no power flowing off him at all, and Ronna realised that there could only be two reasons for this. The first was if the man was using a PRIMORDIAL Rank artefact to hide his power. This possibility was dangerous because that would mean that this man was someone with PRIMORDIAL Rank artefacts, and he would be very difficult to handle. But the second option was even more damning. The only other reason why Ronna wouldn’t be able to sense the man’s power was if he himself were a PRIMORDIAL.

Jason and Valeria landed on the massive ship, and Jason looked around calmly before he turned towards a random person at the side and waved his hand toward him.

"I’m going to ask you some questions. First, who’s the captain of this ship?"

Jason had spoken in the common tongue used by most mercenaries, so all the pirates understood what Jason was saying. The man immediately turned his eyes toward Ronna, and Jason turned to her and spoke.

"You’re the captain?"

Ronna grit her teeth and forced herself to nod obediently. Ronna knew exactly how things worked in this world, and she already knew that there was a chance none of them would make it out of here alive. So if she was going to die, then she would die with her head held high. But Ronna was surprised by what Jason said next.

"I need you to take me to the deepest section of the Central Ocean to find the Kraken. Do you know the way?"

A wave of shock immediately passed through every single person there, and most of them began to shout in shock.

"What!? Have you gone mad!?"

"How can we go there!? Just kill us now!"

"You want to feed us all to the Kraken!"

The men understood that what Jason had just asked for was basically suicide. By telling them to sail into the middle of the Central Ocean, Jason was throwing them right into the heart of the Kraken’s territory. There was no way they would be able to survive the journey. In fact, they wouldn’t even be able to make that journey in the first place. The road leading into that part of the ocean was filled with dangerous beasts. What sort of madness was this?

"You’re mad! You’re a madman!"

One of the women there seemed to be going completely crazy from fear, and Valeria immediately pulled out her sword and pressed it against the woman’s neck.
