Chapter 784 Laws of Space

Kyle looked at the new Communicator on his finger warily.

Yet, calling it a Communicator was a bit strange since it couldn’t communicate with anyone or anything.

It was basically just an offline PC.

However, it had a lot of information stored inside it.

After talking with Star Genesis for a while, they decided to go with one of Kyle’s plans, but it would take a while to get things ready.

‘You better be worth the money,’ Kyle thought. ‘I paid three Grade Six Energy Stones for you!’

Kyle activated the Communicator and saw a folder with countless documents.

The first file was called “A Basic Introduction to Formation Arrays”.

Kyle sighed.

‘To think that I’m going to learn about Formation Arrays. That’s crazy. I’m not a Formation Array guy, but I guess I need it for my plan. Also, learning more about Formation Arrays isn’t a bad thing. If I ever encounter one, this can help me destroy it.’

Star Genesis had left with almost all of Kyle’s wealth and traveled to one of the marketplaces owned by the Grand Exchange.

There, she had exchanged over half of Kyle’s liquid assets for a good guide about Formation Arrays.

‘I mean, I have the time,’ Kyle thought as he looked at the countless documents. ‘Becoming a Unique Crusher won’t take that long. It’s not like I’m wasting my time here. Also, who knows? Maybe this will become useful in the future.’

Kyle opened the first file, and he was immediately confronted with the rules of these documents.

There were several big warnings about not repeating the contents held within this Communicator to other people. On top of that, only one document could be kept open at a time, and when a document was closed, it would automatically delete itself.

Of course, all of the information contained in this Communicator was basically available to all experienced Formation Array Masters, but the seller of these guides also wanted to keep earning a living.

In a way, there was nothing the seller could do if someone decided to spread the contents inside, but if that happened, the spreader of the information would lose Karmic Luck while the seller gained Karmic Luck.

After Kyle read through the rules, he also learned that the document with the rules was the only one that wouldn’t delete itself after it was closed.

‘Makes sense,’ he thought as he kept reading.

The next page just listed requirements.

“If you want to make full use of this guide, you will need the following materials, ” the document said before listing a bunch of materials.

Kyle looked at the materials in his Soul Space. Naturally, Star Genesis had also bought all the necessary materials. Luckily, the materials were cheap in comparison.

Next came the Law requirements.

Law of Minor Metal.

Law of Minor Fire.

Minor Fragment of Space Compression.

Minor Fragment of Space Expansion.

Minor Fragment of Space Stasis.

When Kyle saw the requirements, he took a deep breath.

This was why the guide had been so expensive. While this guide also included the absolute basics for creating Formation Arrays, it also included a specialized advanced course for Formation Array Masters with a Dual Affinity of Fire and Metal.

The basic guide would only teach someone how to become a Formation Array Master with the most basic of knowledge. It only taught the simplest and most common Formation Arrays and how to set them up. Important to note was that it didn’t teach how to conceptualize these Formation Arrays.

Yet, the advanced guide taught the opposite. It didn’t include any specific Formation Arrays but explained how to conceptualize Formation Arrays involving the Elements of Metal and Fire.

There was more that a Formation Array could do than just create Energy associated with a Law.

Formation Arrays could function like Complex Laws, taking different aspects from different Laws to create something new. In a way, one could also view Formation Arrays as machines that manipulated Energy.

Theodor had been quite good at creating Formation Arrays. In a way, a Golem Core was technically just a Formation Array that controlled a body.

Of course, Theodor’s knowledge paled in comparison to any Formation Array Master of the Supreme World.

‘I got the Laws of Minor Metal and Minor Fire, but I don’t have any of the Space Fragments.’

Kyle took out four of the five Space Comprehension Fruits he had gotten from Crimson Inferno.

Naturally, Kyle had also asked Star Genesis to do some research on these fruits, and when she had found out about their uses, she had asked Kyle for one.

Since Star Genesis was a good friend, Kyle gave her one.

Yet, when she had accepted the Space Comprehension Fruit, Kyle noticed a big and green burst.

Star Genesis had lost a bit of Karmic Luck since she had accepted the Space Comprehension Fruit without exchanging for anything, and Kyle had gained the Karmic Luck she had lost.

Their Karmic Blessings and Curses didn’t change, but Kyle felt like his headache became a bit lighter.

Funnily enough, this had also been one of Kyle’s plans, but he hadn’t intended for Star Genesis to be the benefactor.

One of his plans had been to just hand out a bunch of wealth without asking for anything in return to gain Karmic Luck, but Star Genesis said that he didn’t have enough wealth to make a big difference.

If he handed out everything, he would be able to get rid of the Second Curse of Karmic Luck, but it wouldn’t be enough to get rid of the first one. In the end, Kyle would still have negative Karmic Luck while also being poor.

As for the Space Comprehension Fruits, they did exactly what their name suggested. They helped Seekers comprehend the Fragments of Space.

Apparently, when consumed, the Space Comprehension Fruits would grant a Seeker the opportunity to look at Space Energy as if they had an Affinity for it. Of course, that only worked for Level Three Space Fragments and lower.

From what Kyle had heard from Star Genesis, the Major Law of Space was a Level Seven Law, and funnily enough, the Minor Law of Space straight-up didn’t even exist.

The Laws of Space were split into only two categories, Major and True.

The Major Law of Space dictated how space worked in all the worlds and the Supreme World, with only two exceptions.

The Immortal Dimension and the Elemental Dimension. Those two Dimensions had their own Space Laws since they needed to be extremely stable. They used the Major Law of Space as a component, but there were also other Fragments that augmented the Major Law of Space far beyond its usual power.

The Major Law of Space, plus these augmentations, created the True Law of Space.

The reason why there was no Minor Law of Space was that every world worked with the concepts of the Major Law of Space. Even more, the Major Fragments of Space Destruction and Space Creation didn’t have Minor counterparts, and without them, how could one know how space worked?

The Laws of Space, Time, and Gravity were unique in how they worked. Their simplest Fragments were about as complicated as Level One Laws, while their most complex Fragments were as complicated as Level Six Laws.

‘The Fragment of Minor Space Compression and the Fragment of Minor Space Expansion should be about as complicated as Level One Laws. The Fragment of Minor Space Stasis should be as complicated as a Level Two Law. With four Space Comprehension Fruits, I should be able to understand them. ‘

‘Not sure about the Minor Fragment of Space Connection, though. That’s as complicated as a Level Three Law, and it’s what Sages need to know in order to teleport.’

‘That’s probably also why Crimson Inferno had these Space Comprehension Fruits. He was probably already preparing for the time he becomes a Sage.’

Kyle put the Communicator away and looked at the four fruits.

‘Well, time to aimlessly stare into space.’
