Chapter 748: Guidance
733 Finances
Kyle flew into the arena.
He passed through a white and black barrier, but when he was inside, he felt like nothing had changed.
He could still see everyone outside the Concealing Array, but they couldn’t see him anymore.
The five members of Broken Spark also entered, and they quickly assumed their battle positions.
As expected, Crackling Knuckles and Holy Smite were in front. Wall Titan was behind them, standing in front of Static Bookkeeper and Meteor Impact.
The Sage also entered.
“Is everyone ready?” he transmitted to everyone inside the arena.
Everyone nodded.
“The battle will begin as soon as I teleport,” the Sage said.
Then, he waited for two seconds, during which the team of five readied their weapons.
Kyle just smiled calmly.
He hadn’t even taken out his hammer.
Another tense second passed.
At that moment, the Sage teleported away, leaving the arena.
Lightning surrounded Crackling Knuckles as he charged forward, quickly followed by Holy Smite.
A storm of massive lightning gathered in front of Static Bookkeeper, as Meteor Impact launched her first arrow.
Kyle smiled and waved his hand a bit.
BANG!
Everyone stopped moving.
Their eyes widened in disbelief and terror.
What?!
Just now, when the enemy Ancestor had waved his hand…
Static Bookkeeper and Meteor Impact were gone!
Due to their advanced senses, they had seen something appearing behind the two of them for just a moment.
The objects had moved forward at incredible speeds, hitting their backs.
And then, they were teleported out by their Life Shields.
Kyle just smiled calmly.
Naturally, he had just used all of his Energy to conjure two illusory hammers, which he had used to attack them.
After becoming a Minor Crusher, his Energy reserves had increased drastically, and the power of his Law of Hammer had increased as a result.
During the war against the Deep Thorn Sect, Kyle’s illusory hammer had already been powerful enough to kill a Major Crusher.
Now, its power had doubled.
Normal Major Crushers couldn’t defend from something like that.
Sure, someone like Wall Titan or Stalwart Conviction could probably defend from such an attack, but they went all-in on defense.
Static Bookkeeper and Meteor Impact did not focus on defense.
At this moment, Wall Titan felt shocked and useless.
It had been his job to defend Meteor Impact and Static Bookkeeper, and yet, the two of them had been eliminated just like that.
Yet, the moment of shock passed quickly, and the remaining three fighters continued charging.
Kyle regained about 70% of his Energy. Naturally, some of his Energy had been used up during the attack, but that was to be expected.
Kyle slightly moved to the side, avoiding the arrow that had previously been fired by Meteor Impact. Since she was no longer here, she couldn’t control her arrow anymore.
Crackling Knuckles reached Kyle first. His gauntlets were surrounded by fire and lightning as he launched a devastating punch.
Kyle moved the fist to the side with his elbow,
Both combatants had a Level 3.5 Law that increased their physical power. Sadly, both of their Laws didn’t take advantage of their powerful Centers, which was why it came down to physical power.
Crackling Knuckles had advanced as a 10/13 Primal, making his physical body pretty strong, but it couldn’t possibly compare to Kyle’s body.
In a fluid motion, Kyle’s left hand moved towards Crackling Knuckles’ face.
He used his Law of Hammer and…
BANG!
Crackling Knuckles vanished from the arena.
Holy Smite narrowed his eyes, while Wall Titan looked forward in terror.
To them, it looked like the enemy Ancestor had blocked Crackling Knuckles’ attack like it had been launched by a child. Then, he had simply moved his hand forward, and Crackling Knuckles was gone!
Nevertheless, Holy Smite and Wall Titan continued charging forward.
Maybe the enemy Ancestor had used up all of his Energy!
Maybe they could still win!
Wall Titan quickly moved towards Holy Smite, planning on defending him from the enemy’s attack.
Yet, before he could reach Holy Smite, Kyle moved his hand to the side again.
Holy Smite was teleported out as the back of his head was hit by an illusory hammer.
At that moment, Wall Titan stopped charging forward.
The fight was over.
There was no way Wall Titan would win.
For just a moment, he felt frustrated, humiliated, and helpless.
However, what he had just seen quickly convinced him of his loss.
“How did you do it, sir?” Wall Titan transmitted.
Kyle just smiled.
“A stable foundation supports an endless future,” Kyle transmitted. “I am an Ancestor, but I am also still a Disciple. My journey does not end here.”
“Just because someone isn’t at a certain Realm, you shouldn’t immediately assume that they lack the means to reach it. Some Seekers accumulate their power.”
When Wall Titan heard that, he understood what Kyle meant. The Ancestor was not a Fulfilled Crusher, but that didn’t mean that he wasn’t ready to become one.
Most likely, the Ancestor knew a Complex Level Four Law.
The next moment, Wall Titan pulled up his shield and looked at Kyle with determination. “Thank you for your teachings, sir. Please, allow me to experience your power!”
Kyle smiled and flew towards Wall Titan.
“How far did you go as a Primal?” Kyle asked, standing in front of Wall Titan.
“Major Primal, sir,” Wall Titan answered.
Kyle slowly shook his head. “Do you regret skipping the eleventh Cluster?”
“Yes,” Wall Titan answered. “The Law Comprehension I have received is minor compared to the physical power I would have gotten.”
Kyle smiled. “Don’t make the same mistake again. Explosive Karma values ambition. Become a Fulfilled Crusher but aim to become a Unique Crusher.”
Then, Kyle took out his hammer.
Wall Titan had heard that the Ancestor had been seen with a hammer in his hands during the last war, which was why he wasn’t surprised.
Kyle readied his hammer.
“Welcome to Explosive Karma,” Kyle transmitted.
“Thank you, Ancestor,” Wall Titan transmitted respectfully.
Then, Kyle swung his hammer.
Wall Titan put all of his power behind his shield.
He would do his absolute best to block the attack.
As soon as the hammer hit Wall Titan’s shield, Wall Titan felt like he was trying to resist a Planet.
Wall Titan’s arms broke, and his shield was pushed against his chest.
BANG!
The shield and Wall Titan’s chest exploded at the same time, and Wall Titan was teleported out of the arena.
When Wall Titan appeared beside his colleagues, he saw disappointment in their eyes.
The fight had been going on for a long time, and they had hoped that Wall Titan somehow found a way to win.
“What happened?” the Sect Master asked via voice transmission, his voice sounding frustrated. Naturally, he was frustrated that his hope had been crushed.
Wall Titan closed his eyes as the image of Kyle’s strike reappeared in his mind.
“I received guidance from the Ancestor,” he answered.
“Winner, Explosive Karma,” the Sage announced at that moment.
Meanwhile, inside the arena, Kyle just smirked.
‘Yeah, that went about as expected.’
