Kyle left the Ether Gems and corpses behind before leaving.

‘Well, that was a dud,’ he thought. ‘I wanted to fight an actual human for a change, but noooo, can’t fight a human. We are all out of human, sorry.’

Of course, Kyle could also fight Silvester for a True Battle, but he liked the guy.

Silvester had helped Kyle a couple of times in the past, and he really didn’t want to kill him.

Sebastian could also be an appropriate opponent, but come on! They were friends!

It had been 23 years since Kyle had won his duel against that Harald guy.

After 21 years, he had created his prototype of the Law of Meteor.

He had worked on it for about one more year before he experimented with it by fighting a couple of Level One Transcending Beasts in the Grand Ocean.

After just one battle, Kyle’s power had increased quite a bit since he got familiar with it.

Eventually, his Law of the Meteor slowly started to take form, but it was nowhere close to being done.

At most, he had unearthed 20% of its potential.

Yet, just these 20% were enough to push him to a level of power that could rival Emperor Winterfire and Silvester.

‘It’s actually crazy. My Law of the Meteor is not even truly condensed yet, and there’s still so much I can improve, but just this tiny bit already pushed me this far!’

Sebastian knew a Level Two Law, but it only improved his power up to Kyle’s current level.

‘It’s probably because I’m using three different Elements. If I only used two, I would probably only reach Sebastian’s power after unearthing around 80% of its power. The addition of a third Element actually increased my power dramatically.’

Kyle had also asked the Duchess of Twilight about her Complex Laws and how much they had increased her power.

After all, he wanted to know if it was normal for his power to improve by this much.

When the Duchess of Twilight had given her answer, Kyle once more learned to appreciate just how powerful she was.

“There are a variety of ways to combine Pure Laws into Complex Laws,” she had said. “Your friend, Sebastian, could try to combine the Law of Yang-Lightning and the Law of Yin-Lightning. The resulting Complex Law would combine the two aspects, allowing him to recover Ether while simultaneously launching a destructive attack.”

“Instead of requiring two individual attacks, he could just launch one. That would get rid of the inconsistencies in his battle style. Instead of an ebb and tide approach, he would have a constant tide of energy.”

“This kind of Complex Law that combines different levels of the same Element is called an Element-Internal Complex Law. Understanding one of these turns you into a Fulfilled Transcendent as long as you don’t rush its creation.”

“I have created two Element-Internal Complex Laws. One for Yang-Light and Yin-Light, and one for Yang-Darkness and Yin-Darkness.”

“However, there is another way in which you can combine the Elements. You can take two Elements of the same kind and extract their essence. In your friends’ case, he could extract the energy-essence of his lightning.”

“These kinds of extractions do not have significant powers of their own, but you can combine them with other Laws to improve their powers. If your friend knew the Law of the Body, he could extract the Essence of Lightning and infuse it into his Law of the Body. This would almost certainly turn him into a Unique Transcendent, and the Law would be called something like Law of the Lightning Body.”

“This kind of Complex Law is called an Essence-Infusion Complex Law.”

“I have extracted the Essence of Yang-Light and Yin-Light, and the Essence of Yang-Darkness and Yin-Darkness.”

“There is a possibility to combine two Essences, which would create a powerful new kind of Ether. Combining two Essences is called Essence-Fusion. I have been trying to combine the two Essences I have, but I have not had any success.”

“Mixing three Elements improves the power drastically, and it would reach the power of an Essence-Infusion Complex Law, but it depends a lot on the components.”

“You use three Pure Level One Laws. Even if you fully succeeded, the theoretical Law of the Lightning Body would still be more powerful. After all, the Full Law of the Body has the power of a Level Two Law.”

Mixed-Elemental, Elemental-Internal, Essence-Infusion, and Essence-Fusion Laws.

‘After I reach the next level, I could take a look at the Yin-Elements. After comprehending them, I would have so many different kinds of ways to combine them!’

‘I could simply create a Mixed-Element Complex Law by combining the three Yin-Elements, which would be the same thing I am doing right now, but a level higher.’

‘However, I could also create three Element-Internal Complex Laws and then try to fuse them into an even more powerful Mixed-Elemental Complex Law.’

‘I could also look at the Law of the Body, extract all three Essences of the Elements, and add them to my body.’
