Strongest Hammer God
Chapter 1179: Similar but Different
The Abyss Hammer Team kept teleporting through the Hell Dimension for hours on end. From time to time, Kyle saw some isolated Seekers with True Sin Auras, but they were not members of the Cult. Some of them traveled through the Hell Dimension, while others comprehended Laws in weaker Law Wells. A few of them were also stuck on their Planets, but these Seekers were not as common.
Kyle knew roughly where Orchis was, but that didn't help him a lot. The Abyss Hammer Team was relatively close to Ayuvar's physical location, which was at the edge of the Supreme World. On the great map of the Supreme World, Orchis was pretty close to Ayuvar. Only around 0.001% of the Supreme World's width was between Ayuvar and Orchis.
Yet, 0.001% of the Supreme World's width equated to around 100 sextillion kilometers. To traverse that distance via teleportation, Kyle would need to travel for over 300 years.
The last time he had traveled to Ayuvar, he had done so with the help of a powerful Lord. Most likely, that Lord even knew a lot about the True Law of Space. After all, their journey had only taken a couple of seconds back then.
'I don't want to travel for 300 years, but I might not have another choice,' Kyle thought. 'I thought I could find any random member of the Cult, but the Hell Dimension is pretty fucking empty.'
'Guess I'll just move in that direction.'
So, Kyle started his journey towards Orchis.
Hours passed.
Days passed.
Weeks pas-Suddenly, Kyle's surroundings warped, and his teleportation was interrupted. Someone had locked down space with their Momentum.
As soon as Kyle felt the Momentum, he knew one thing.
He could not fight the owner!
"Hey, I'm just traveling to Orchis. Can you give me a lift?" Black asked the owner of the Momentum.
In the next moment, Kyle felt his Karmic Lines warping. The Karmic Lines between his three Avatars stretched and became more pronounced before returning to normal.
"Identify yourself," a deep voice spoke in Kyle's mind.
"My name is Kyle. I was sent to a Primary World by the Cult. The Lord of Orchis should know about me," Kyle said.
Some seconds of silence passed.
"Your identity has been confirmed," the owner of the voice transmitted. "Orchis is not where you are supposed to be."
In the next moment, three small Communicators appeared in front of the Abyss Hammer Team. Then, Kyle felt the reality around him warping before he was teleported to an isolated hall. The hall looked very similar to the halls that held the Teleportation Formation Arrays on the different Planets.
Kyle could also see a Teleportation Formation Array here, but it was much grander and more complex than any Teleportation Formation Arrays he had ever seen before. He could tell within an instant that this Teleportation Formation Array used the True Law of Space instead of the Major Law of Space.
This thing could teleport Immortals.
Yet, it was also different in other ways. In a way, it seemed much more unstable. It felt like a rickety old machine.
A moment later, Kyle felt the Teleportation Formation Array activating, and then he realized why this Teleportation Formation Array felt so weird.
'It uses Brutality as an Energy Source!' Kyle thought with surprise. 'No wonder it feels so unstable! Death is chaotic. You can't just move Death through normal Connections. You essentially have to force it into shape.'
The Teleportation Formation Array shook under the sheer power of Brutality. It almost seemed like it was about to explode, but in the end, the teleportation worked without any issues.
A moment later, Kyle found himself in a similar hall. Sadly, he couldn't see anything outside of the hall since his Divine Consciousness had been isolated. He had no idea where he was.
Kyle looked around the hall, but he couldn't see an exit.
'No idea how I can get out. I guess somebody will get me at some point.'
So, Kyle waited.
And waited.
'I feel like something isn't going as planned. The Cult is usually so efficient.'
Kyle was right.
The purpose of this place was to verify identities. The person from earlier had sent Kyle here to verify his identity. After all, the Cult also had to be careful of spies.
Usually, every person had to get through an investigation, performed by a Lord.
Yet, when the Lord had seen Kyle's immense aura, they had contacted their superior.
"An Immortal fitting your description has arrived on Nuro," the Lord transmitted.
"How intense is his aura?" the superior asked.
"The most intense aura I have ever seen on a Beginner Immortal," the Lord answered. "His aura rivals the auras of Chosen."
"Send him to me."
"Yes, sir."
Kyle watched as the Teleportation Formation Array activated again.
'Another teleportation? Why?'
Kyle went through yet another teleportation, but this time, he didn't appear within an isolated hall.
Instead, he found himself in an alien yet familiar room. The room was just a couple of meters wide, which was very small for people who could create mountains within seconds. There were metallic chairs with cushions, desks, and a bunch of screens.
As Kyle looked to his right, he saw a machine he hadn't seen in forever.
'A coffee machine?' Kyle thought in surprise.
In fact, the entire room reminded Kyle of Earth. It was almost like someone had taken a part of Earth and recreated it in the Hell Dimension. The only things that were missing were windows.
In front of Kyle's Avatars sat a young man with short hair. He had two bulky human arms and two bulky arms with black scales and claws. His eyes were yellow, and there were scales growing across the right side of his face. Kyle could feel Death emanating from this person. It was clear that this man had modified his composition several times. He was not a being made of pure Energy. He was made of Energy and Death.
As Kyle looked at the man, he somehow felt like he had seen this guy before. 'I'm sure that I've never met anyone with such an aura before, but I feel like I've met someone who looks like him, minus all of the scaly extras.'
Meanwhile, the man sitting behind the desk looked at Kyle with furrowed brows.
"Wait! It's you?!" Kyle suddenly shouted in surprise.
"We have never met before," the man answered in a neutral voice.
"I'm pretty sure I've met you before," Kyle answered.
"You haven't met me," the man answered. "You've met someone like me, but you haven't met me."
As Kyle looked at the man, he could feel like he was looking at a different aspect of the man who had appeared in Ayuvar to decide its fate. Their auras were different, but the way they carried themselves made them seem like the same person.
"Is this some kind of hidden message?" Kyle asked. "Am I supposed to act like I haven't met you?"
"There is no hidden message," the man answered. "This is the first time we have ever met. I have heard a lot about you, but I have never seen you before. Without joining us, I can't tell you more. Just know that we haven't met before."
"We might be similar, but we are not the same."
