Strongest Hammer God
Chapter 1142: Back in the Supreme World
Eight people popped out of a massive sphere. Naturally, these were Kyle's and Sebastian's Avatars, and the massive sphere was Ayuvar's actual body.
Yet, as soon as they arrived, three of the eight people started to turn blurry before vanishing.
'And there goes Black's team,' Kyle thought.
Since Black's team had True Sin Auras, the world forced them into the Hell Dimension. Technically, Kyle could force Black's team to stay in the Main Dimension. People said that only Immortals could ascend Dimensions, but that wasn't completely true. One just needed to have undergone one's Fusion to ascend Dimensions. It was just easier to say that one needed to become an Immortal. After all, undergoing one's Fusion was the hardest criterion for becoming an Immortal.
For just a moment, Sebastian and Kyle looked at the Supreme World again. There were basically no Planets around the Primary Worlds since they were at the edges of the Cosmos.
Usually, the worlds in the Cosmos were located in concentric circles. The Supreme World took up the most space and sat at the center of the Cosmos. The Primary Worlds lay on the edges of the Supreme World, while the Secondary Worlds lay even farther away. The Secondary Worlds didn't revolve around the Primary Worlds. Instead, they stretched further into the distance.
One could also view the layout as a complex network of roots and trees. The Supreme World represented the roots, which connected to all of the trees. The trees' trunks were the Primary Worlds, while the Secondary Worlds were their branches. Lastly, the leaves were the Tertiary Worlds. Leaves weren't directly connected to other leaves, but each leaf connected to exactly one branch. Branches didn't connect to each other but to the trunk. The trunk was connected to all of the branches and to the root network.
Even though the two of them couldn't see any Planets, they still felt a profound feeling of familiarity. This empty space didn't exist in Ayuvar. Ayuvar was a world filled with ground, air, water, and life. Meanwhile, the Main Dimension of the Supreme World was just made of mostly nothingness.
"Well, seems like no one is paying attention to Ayuvar," Kyle commented. "Otherwise, someone would've already come to greet us."
"Lucky us," Sebastian replied. "Anyway, where do we advance, and what's our plan?""I've thought about this for a while, and as much as I hate to admit it, I've also asked Swamp Dragon for some advice," Kyle answered.
"You asked Swamp Dragon?" Sebastian asked with an eyebrow raised in skepticism.
"Yeah, I know," Kyle replied with a sigh, "but he knows what he's doing, and he doesn't want us to die. Might as well accept some of his help."
Sebastian snorted but didn't say anything. In a way, he was even angrier with Swamp Dragon than Kyle was.
"He said that the Wargod's Peak is our best bet," Kyle transmitted. "The Wargod's Peak is much looser when it comes to tracking their citizens. If we advance while inside their territory, we won't get as many questions. As long as we don't have any Death inside of us, they also won't make too much trouble."
"Speaking of Death," Sebastian answered, "what about your Major Law of Death? Will they notice?"
"No," Kyle answered. "The Major Law of Death gives me the power to synthesize Death out of Energy. I do not need to store Death since I can just make it."
"Does that mean you can also give others Death?" Sebastian asked with raised brows.
"Yep," Kyle answered. "That's why I don't want anyone to find out. If any of the Organization get wind of my power, they will kill me. If the Cult knows about it, my life will also be over, but in a different way."
Sebastian's eyes narrowed as he realized what this would mean for Kyle.
The biggest issue was that Kyle didn't want to commit to a side. If he actually were willing to swear his undying loyalty to the Cult, he could actually become their most important member in the entire Cosmos. They would protect and nurture him with their full power.
However, Kyle wouldn't fully commit to them, and that was where the issues came from. If the Cult heard about Kyle's power, they would only have three choices, and all of these choices were risky.
One, nurture Kyle anyway. In that case, their cooperation would deepen, and both parties would start to rely on each other. The danger was that Kyle could one day, when he was much stronger, just leave. At that point, the Cult would have already relied on him so much that this might prove devastating to them. Even more, Kyle would know important information about the Cult. He would become a danger instead of help. That was also why they most likely wouldn't make this choice.
Two, force Kyle to generate Death for all of eternity. There were ways to keep someone alive and helpless. By keeping Kyle in perpetual torture without allowing him to commit suicide, they could eventually break him and force him into compliance. This meant that Kyle would never become a danger to them. Sure, the Cult's philosophy was to allow their members to have freedom, but philosophies like that weren't unbreakable. There were plenty of altruistic Mortals who would punch an innocent person if the reward was enough money to build an entire empire.
Three, make it so that Kyle couldn't live outside of the Cult anymore. By manipulating some things, the Cult could inform all of the Higher Supreme Organizations about Kyle's ability, making him the primary target of them. In this scenario, Kyle wouldn't be able to show himself anywhere outside of the Cult's headquarters without being killed. This would leave the Cult as his only option.
On top of that, publicizing his identity would reverse the dynamic of this entire war. Right now, the Supreme World was defending, while the Cult was attacking. In the majority of cases, defending was easier than attacking. Yet, due to the threat of Kyle's powers, the Supreme World would be forced to take the initiative and attack. After all, Kyle was the only reliable and renewable source of Death.
As long as Kyle didn't swear his loyalty, the Cult would never allow him to become a Demigod. His talent was unprecedented. If he ever managed to become a Peak Demigod, in the absence of the Heaven Breaker, the Cosmos would belong to him.
Sebastian could easily deduce all of these things. It wasn't hard to see how things would develop.
"Don't talk about your powers, got it," Sebastian answered.
Kyle nodded. "Right now, we should go to the Wargod's Peak. My other Avatars will travel to Orchis and get into contact with the Cult, but only after we've advanced. I want to make it seem like I've ascended and that I'm the only survivor."
"You're going to join the Cult?" Sebastian asked.
"Yeah, but only for resources and information," Kyle explained. "I don't want this Cosmos to be destroyed. My primary focus will be on the Immortal Dimension. This won't be like last time. Last time, they had my life in their hands with the Blessing. This time, the most they can do is kill three of my Avatars. If there's no other choice, that's a price I'm willing to pay."
