Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 1137: No Fusion

A group of Ascendants looked at a document floating above a table. The document didn't have any kind of official seal, and it didn't follow any established standards of communication.

The letter wasn't very long.

"Anyone who undergoes their Fusion within the next 100,000 years will die. In 100,000 years, you can advance without worry. I've given you proof of my power. Trust that I will keep my word."

That was the letter.

"I believe this is a trick," the Head Elder of Bright Sky, a World Organization, transmitted to the others. "This most likely comes from Budding Forest. Their Ancestor recently became an Immortal, which means they lost their biggest backer. There is no way their Ancestor is still within this world."

"I don't think so," the Disciplinary Elder said. "I agree that this might come from Budding Forest, but I don't think their Ancestor is gone. What if their Ancestor became the Overseer?"

"So what?" the Head Elder asked. "If he actually became the Overseer, he wouldn't get involved in political affairs. The damage to his Karmic Luck would be too great. I think they want us to believe that this comes from their Ancestor."

"And how do you explain the things that have happened recently?" the Disciplinary Elder asked. "Four of our Law Wells were destroyed, and within minutes, they were rebuilt. Several of us were present when that happened, and we couldn't find the responsible party anywhere."

"Advanced Formation Arrays," the Head Elder answered. "They've infiltrated our Law Wells and placed two Formation Arrays. One destroyed the Law Well, while the other rebuilt it. They want it to look like we're dealing with someone we can't fight. I believe one of the other Organizations has a Major Ascendant who will soon undergo their Fusion, and they want to give them time."

"What about the letter?" the Disciplinary Elder asked. "It appeared right within our most fortified meeting room."

"A traitor," the Head Elder answered.

The atmosphere in the room became oppressive. The only people with access to the meeting room were currently within it. The Head Elder had just said that one of the people present was a traitor.

"Let's not jump to conclusions," the Head of Bright Sky said. "Right now, everything is conjecture, and I don't think talking about this will give us any answers. Since analyzing the situation further seems impossible, we must focus on deciding our next steps."

"Do we follow the commands or do we ignore them?"

The others furrowed their brows.

"I think this is a ploy," the Formation Elder said. "There are Formation Arrays that can accomplish all of these things."

"I also think this is some kind of trick," the Head Elder added. "In fact, I think we should pause Bright Sky's operations so that we can focus on our Laws. We need to advance even faster. We should do the opposite of what the letter tells us to do."

"I don't agree," the Disciplinary Elder said. "This is too risky."

"What are you afraid of?" the Head Elder asked with some annoyance. "We took plenty of risks to get where we are today. We also don't need to advance in public. With some Formation Arrays, we can control the storm of Energy somewhat. It's not like this party has their eyes and ears everywhere."

BANG!

Suddenly, almost half of the Head Elder's body turned into dust.

The others watched in shock and horror. What the fuck had just happened?!

The Head Elder's body recovered in almost an instant. The sudden attack immediately awoke his battle instincts as Lightning and Water Energy appeared around him.

When the others saw that, they grew even more terrified. They could survive the Head Elder's attack since it wasn't aimed at them, but...

What about their headquarters?!

This was a Four-Infused Ascendant, and if he released his power, all of their regular Elders and Disciples would die!

"Stop!" the Head transmitted, but the Head Elder's mind was simply too chaotic right now.

The Head Elder's surroundings exploded as he launched a devastating attack.

The others prepared for the fallout of the Head Elder's attack, but it never came.

Yes, his surroundings exploded, but only within a radius of a meter. All the other Energies were contained by some kind of barrier that had suddenly appeared around him.

Then, the sound of a slap echoed throughout the room as the Head Elder's body fiercely hit the ground below him.

The others just looked at each other in confusion and panic.

Finally, another letter appeared on the table.

"That was my last warning."

When the others saw the letter, they felt like their hearts had stopped.

They couldn't deny the truth anymore. Someone with unimaginable power was looking at them.

Meanwhile, Black and Red just looked at Bright Sky from a distance.

"Budding Forest is discussing your letter as well."

Black just nodded, and the two of them teleported to Budding Forest.

The voice transmission had come from Swamp Dragon.

While Kyle still hated Swamp Dragon, he also knew that working with him would bring the best results since they had similar goals.

Both of them wanted to protect Ayuvar. If an Immortal appeared within the next 100,000 years, all of their plans would collapse. The Higher Supreme Organizations would notice, and Ayuvar's fate would no longer be in their hands. Additionally, Ayuvar would be under intense surveillance, which meant Kyle and Sebastian wouldn't get the opportunity to escape in secret.

Since Kyle also wanted to increase the disparity in Karmic Luck between his two teams, working with Swamp Dragon made sense. They needed to suppress the rise of another Immortal for some time, but they also didn't want to kill them. For the good of Ayuvar, the Ascendants just needed to wait for some time. None of them would die of old age since none of them were as old as Sebastian or Kyle.

The best way was to tell them to stay put. Black's team was issuing the letters. Stopping Seekers from advancing generated a lot of negative Karmic Luck. Meanwhile, Red's team protected the Organizations from things like the uncontrolled attack from the Head Elder.

By now, Black's team had already condensed a True Sin Aura.

Meanwhile, Red's team had only condensed a Minor Hero Aura. Gaining Karmic Luck was far more difficult than losing it.

Luckily, they still had plenty of time left. If Kyle's Avatars kept going like this, he would condense a True Hero Aura before he had to leave Ayuvar.

Several more incidents like this took place, but in the end, all of the World Organizations had accepted. None of their members would undergo their Fusion within the next 100,000 years.

"I can help you increase your Karmic Luck," Swamp Dragon transmitted.

Red grimaced a bit in disgust. He really didn't like working with Swamp Dragon.

But he also wouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth.

"Fine, shoot," Red answered.
