Chapter 732 - 455: Entering
’Interesting. Is this a coincidence, or is it somehow related to Blue Star?’
Hu Qi’s gaze flickered.
The concept of Small Thousand Worlds, Middle Thousand Worlds, and Great Thousand Worlds was not unfamiliar to Hu Qi.
After all, he had heard about it long ago, back on Blue Star.
Although his memories from Blue Star were from a very long time ago, with his current power at the True God Realm, all he had to do was think for a moment, and those memories would surface in his mind with perfect clarity.
This concept originated from the cosmology of Buddhism.
Many Buddhist scriptures proposed this worldview.
Among them, the ’Longer Agama Sutra’ contained this passage:
Just as a sun and a moon travel across the four continents, their light shining upon all, so too does a chiliocosm contain a thousand suns and moons, a thousand Sumeru Mountain Kings, and four thousand continents... This is called a Small Thousand World.
One thousand of these Small Thousand Worlds make a Middle Thousand World.
One thousand of these Middle Thousand Worlds make a Great Thousand World.
In this model, the area covered by one sun and moon journeying across four continents can be considered the scope of a single, basic world.
It has its own sun and moon, forming a self-contained realm.
A Small Thousand World is equivalent to 1,000 basic worlds.
A Middle Thousand World is equivalent to 1,000 Small Thousand Worlds.
A Great Thousand World is equivalent to 1,000 Middle Thousand Worlds.
The term "Three Thousand Great Thousand World" doesn’t mean there are 3,000 Great Thousand Worlds.
Rather, the calculation involves three "thousands"—Small, Middle, and Great—a three-tiered multiplication by a thousand, hence the name "Three Thousand Great Thousand World."
It is as if the universe is composed of countless worlds, with its basic structural units being the Small, Middle, and Great Thousand Worlds, collectively called the "Three Thousand Great Thousand World."
In Buddhist parlance, this is described by the phrase, "Within a single speck of dust are worlds as numerous as specks of dust."
The meaning is that a single tiny speck of dust contains as many universes as there are specks of dust.
’A Great Thousand cosmos, infinitely vast...’
Hu Qi’s eyes gleamed.
A world like the Bottomless Realm, which was powerful enough to constrain a True God, was merely considered a Middle Thousand World.
’Then how powerful must a Great Thousand World be? Infinitely vast... Or could it be... that the entire Sea of Sumeru is a Great Thousand World?’
That wasn’t entirely impossible.
Although there was an unknown void beyond the Sea of Sumeru, judging from the information he had so far, and in terms of sheer area, it did seem similar to the concept of being infinitely vast.
These thoughts flashed through his mind before he pushed them aside.
He had too little information right now. There wasn’t much point in pondering the question.
When his strength was sufficient, he would naturally find out the answers.
However, from this influx of information, Hu Qi also learned something else.
His Pocket World had evolved from a Small Thousand World into a Middle Thousand World.
This was what had triggered the spiritual feedback from the Spirit Realm.
After his inner world evolved into a Middle Thousand World, not only could it nourish his Dao Seed, but it also granted him an exceptionally strange and powerful ability.
This was the powerful set of rules unique to a Middle Thousand World.
By possessing a Middle Thousand World, he could use its rules to fight against other True Gods and effectively suppress them.
One could say that by simply using the Power of Rules from his internal Middle Thousand World, he could render himself invincible against other True Gods.
However, while evolving a Small Thousand World into a Middle Thousand World sounded simple, actually achieving it was no less difficult than reincarnating, abandoning everything, and starting from scratch to cultivate all the way back to the True God Realm.
The reason Hu Qi was able to make his Pocket World evolve in such a short time was because of his Taiyu Serpent Bloodline.
Using his enhanced Spirit Devouring Talent, he had not only devoured numerous worlds but had also forcibly devoured a portion of a Middle Thousand World’s source.
Furthermore, by using the Heaven-Seizing Technique, a Heaven-Defying Secret Technique, he had forcibly seized Altdina’s Great Daos of Light and Destruction and integrated them into himself.
This strengthened his Dao Seed, which in turn nourished the Pocket World itself.
All of this was what allowed it to evolve so quickly and successfully.
It would have been completely impossible for any other True God.
Aside from all this, there was another crucial piece of information in the feedback from the Spirit Realm.
Namely, only a Daoist Lord could nurture a Middle Thousand World.
However, typically, only after a Daoist Lord breaks through and spends a certain amount of time would their inner world be prompted to advance.
But Hu Qi had done it in reverse.
His inner world had advanced first.
This would bring him immense benefits.
Leaving aside all else, just in terms of fighting other True Gods, even without using any other methods, he could become invincible within the True God Realm simply by controlling the Power of Rules in his Pocket World.
It was equivalent to already possessing a portion of a Daoist Lord’s power.
Barring any surprises, it was unlikely any existence at the True God level could defeat him.
"A Daoist Lord..."
he murmured to himself.
This was the first time he had come across any information regarding Daoist Lords.
He was naturally curious about the realm above True God.
Yet, to this day, he had not found the slightest trace of a Daoist Lord’s existence.
Back when he obtained the authority over the Kep Star World, he had investigated this matter thoroughly.
Unfortunately, there were no remnants of power at the Daoist Lord level in that world.
Or perhaps, even if such a being had passed through, erasing all traces of their existence would have been a trivial matter for them.
He didn’t dwell on it further.
He focused his mind and turned his gaze inward.
Inside his Pocket World, thousands upon thousands of rules intertwined and evolved. Its volume expanded with every passing moment, now large enough to contain an entire galaxy.
The numerous worlds that Hu Qi had once swallowed, which had once seemed crowded, now appeared sparse within the vast expanse of his Pocket World.
