The Tier-8 Desert Lizard spotted the Human Beast Tamer over a hundred meters away. Just as it was about to chase after the human, the beast’s back ripped completely open.

It caused the beast severe pain.

A massive amount of blood spurted out. Inside the back, an ugly beastly face with eyes and a mouth was revealed.

It was both the heart and head of the beast.

Stella didn’t stop and slashed down at the ugly face hidden inside.

The ugly face was split in half. The Tier-7 Parasite Root wasn’t able to do anything. It could only watch the vitality slipping away from its body.

More blood splattered across the area. The Tier-8 Parasite Root stopped in midair. Its main body had been attacked and cut down.

The vitality in the rest of its body dropped to zero.

The main body also lost its breath. It died on the spot. The 100-meter-long Parasite Root fell to the ground, and the impact force spread outward.

The power overturned the grass and green vegetation. The force cleared out the surroundings.

The Tier-8 Desert Lizard let out a roar. Its companion had died on the spot. It saw the massive root on the ground.

Stella didn’t stop her attack. She started attacking the neck of the beast. Her crimson wings were able to penetrate the deep scales of its neck.

The Desert Lizard roared. It forgot about the human and shifted its attention toward the flying beast.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Night watched with a serious expression. He didn’t know whether Stella had consumed her energy.

Seeing that her wings were able to leave a gash on the neck of the beast, he thought the Desert Lizard had gotten weaker.

It could no longer use its oppressive power at full strength. He made a split-second decision and darted forward.

He held a blade in his hand.

[What are you doing?] Stella asked him.

"Trying to help," he said to her.

The Tier-8 Desert Lizard was in a maddened state. There was a deep gash on its neck.

The beast started shooting sand vortexes from its wide mouth.

In the blink of an eye, the sand attacks landed on the ground one by one, causing a massive disturbance in the surroundings.

It was already fortunate that no one had come after hearing the commotion.

Jeremy was able to reach the side of its leg. The beast was currently distracted, so he could use this opportunity to attack.

The frame of the beast was massive compared to him. He looked tiny.

The blade slashed through the skin of the beast. The starlight-filled blade met with resistance.

But as he put force behind the attack, the blade penetrated deeper. Blood gushed forth from the wound.

As time passed, drops of blood began falling to the ground.

The Desert Lizard felt a sharp pain in its leg. It saw that the Human Beast Tamer was attacking it, and it became enraged.

It stomped the ground with its massive feet. The giant foot pressed down into the earth.

The action caused a powerful shockwave to spread outward. Jeremy Night faced the backlash.

He was standing too close to the spot. He could feel the ground beneath him collapsing; it was about to form a crater.

He used a movement method to retreat, but he still got hit by the fierce impact force. The force threw him backward.

He felt his skin under immense pressure. In the blink of an eye, the impact force created superficial injuries across his body.

Jeremy tried to withstand the impact, but he crashed to the ground once again. He felt pain all over his body.

On the other hand, Stella shared his pain, which enraged her further. In a flash, her crimson-bordered starlight wings penetrated the flesh even deeper.

Cut!

Her three-meter-long wings fully severed the head of the beast. It happened in a split second. The severed head fell to the ground.

Pfff!

Blood splashed, and the ground was stained red. The massive frame of the five-meter-tall beast fell to the ground.

The heavy body collapsing on the ground created a massive shockwave. Dust and smoke rose into the air.

It covered the sky like a mushroom cloud.

[I’m exhausted. Let me inside the mental zone,] Stella said to him.

Hearing that, Jeremy Night was not surprised. He allowed her in.

The next second, the six-winged butterfly appeared before him. The crimson border had disappeared.

The beast returned to its usual self. Then, the butterfly disappeared and entered his mental zone.

She appeared in the middle of the mental zone and rested on the ground. Her six wings began to absorb natural energy from the surroundings.

Jeremy Night heaved a sigh of relief. The aftermath had settled down. The massive corpse of the Tier-8 beast lay on the ground.

Nearby, the corpse of the Tier-7 Parasite Root was also on the ground. Both of them were rare beasts.

He decided to store them. Maybe he could show them to Elder James. He had never come across such beasts before.

He collected the beast corpses inside his storage ring. The next second, the corpses vanished from the spot.

Jeremy then collected his thoughts. He decided to leave the place; the battle had already stretched on for more than an hour.

He didn’t want to stay there any longer.

He used the "Feathered Movement Steps" to leave the place. He cleared the whole area in a few minutes.

It didn’t take long for him to find a good, safe spot.

He rested beneath the shadow of the bedrock. The shadow provided a cool shade. He looked at the sky and saw that the sun was setting.

He then shifted his attention to his mental zone. He saw Stella resting inside. She continued to absorb the natural energy.
