Chapter 1083: Part 1: Final Chance

Special Base (4th Zone)

Jeremy Night walked up to them and requested a special flight ticket to City A. The elders behind the counter were shocked. They didn’t know the exact reason.

Though they were curious, they could not ask him. It would be a breach of privacy. Who knew? It could be a task given by Elder John.

So they registered his name and booked the flight ticket for him. Jeremy Night then paid using credit points. He had credit points saved.

He had hardly used them for any purchases. He then went to the runway and began to wait for the flight.

It didn’t take long for the special flight to arrive. When it landed on the runway and came to a halt, he saw the cabin door being opened by the flight attendant.

But no one was coming out. He might be the only one from the special base. He then boarded the plane and found his seat to sit down.

A few minutes later,

The special flight departed. There were no more than ten passengers on the flight. The plane left the special base and was heading towards City A.

Stella felt something, so she stopped absorbing the natural energy and looked around. She used her mental power and found that they were leaving the special base.

[Where are we going?]

Hearing that, Jeremy Night was slightly surprised. He didn’t expect Stella to be awake now. So he briefed her about the meeting that had taken place.

Knowing that they were going to train in the special practice room again, Stella was excited. She then went back to rest.

Jeremy Night was observing the thin cracks on the egg. He wanted to ask her, but she went back to rest before he could ask.

Several hours later,

The flight reached its destination. It arrived at the airport in City A. The environment here was better than at the special base.

The natural energy was richer and present in abundance. Stella immediately felt the change. She woke up and looked around the place.

She recalled being in this place before, so she started absorbing the natural energy from the surroundings. She immediately felt that the natural energy was denser and purer.

In the special practice room, it would be present in an even higher concentration. When the aircraft landed on the runway, everyone was ready to leave.

The plane came to a halt. The flight attendant opened the cabin door. One by one, the passengers exited the flight. Jeremy followed them to the exit.

After setting foot on the ground, he followed everyone through the terminal.

A few minutes later,

He came out of the airport. He immediately found a cab and hopped inside. He told the cab driver to take him to the Beast Taming Association.

He was already running late because several hours had already been spent traveling. He didn’t want to waste any more time. The driver was surprised.

This was because rarely did anyone come out of the airport wanting to head straight to the Beast Taming Association.

Usually, travelers checked into hotels or headed straight to their homes. The driver thought that the guest might know someone inside the Beast Taming Association.

20 minutes later,

The cab driver reached the destination. He halted the cab at the stop. Jeremy Night stepped out and paid the fare to the driver.

Next, he went towards the building without looking back. The cab driver then drove away.

Jeremy opened the door and walked inside. He was familiar with the place. He went directly to the admin desk. The admin desk was huge.

There was more than one staff member behind the desk. He walked up to them to make his request. He saw that these staff members were familiar as well.

He had met them last time. One of the male staff members asked right away:

"Are you Jeremy Night?"

"Yes, it’s me. It’s good to see you," Jeremy Night said to him.

"What are you doing here?" the staff member asked.

"I came here for one week of training," Jeremy replied.

The staff member immediately understood. Except the staff, there was no member near the admin desk; only a few people were going about their business.

"Okay. Give me the golden card," the staff member said.

Hearing that, Jeremy Night handed over the golden card. The staff member took the card and scanned it. He registered a one-week free pass for the golden card user.

Jeremy Night’s name was in the database. At this time, another staff member came over to his side to check what was going on.

The staff member then returned the golden card after finishing the registration.

"Be careful, don’t wander around and bump into Beast Tamers here. You remember what happened last time, don’t you?" the staff member asked.

"I will be careful." After saying that, Jeremy Night left the counter.

The male staff member felt uneasy. Last time, the other Beast Tamers had caused quite a ruckus. It was not easy to get a golden card.

The golden card in Jeremy Night’s hand was sponsored by someone. It would definitely attract hatred and jealousy.

He hoped that the young man’s appearance here wouldn’t cause any problems.

On the other hand, Jeremy Night took the lift to reach the special practice room floor. He then went down the hall and found the special practice rooms.

There were many rooms, but he selected the room he had used the previous time. He placed the golden card on the display.

The card was scanned and the details were verified. The next second, the door opened. He walked inside and the door shut automatically.

Jeremy Night then went to the console and flipped the switch. The natural energy started flowing from the inlet. The pure white mist energy entered the room and began to spread around.

Jeremy Night came to the middle and sat cross-legged on the ground. He then closed his eyes and paid attention to Stella. He saw her absorbing the natural energy in the room.

She didn’t speak and went to work right away. Seeing that, he closed his eyes and started running the breathing method.

The natural energy drifted towards him. As the energy entered his body, he guided it along the pathway. His cells were activated and began to absorb the energy.
