Chapter 193: Chapter 193

As soon as Hua Buwan’s voice faded, the members of the Ling family tacitly reached for the bottles of mineral water beside them. They raised the bottles high and gently clinked them together, producing a crisp, melodic sound, as if performing a special celebratory ritual.

Afterward, Hua Buwan and the others worked together to sort through the various items she had brought over. A closer look revealed that the vast majority of the goods were common kitchen utensils and ingredients. They methodically arranged everything, organizing the items neatly so they could be easily found and used later.

Time flew by, and in the blink of an eye, it was already afternoon.

According to their original plan, they were heading to the beach for some beachcombing, aiming to catch fresh, delicious seafood with their own hands. However, this time, Hua Buwan made it clear that she would not step in to help as she had in the past. She knew very well that in the days to come, the Ling family had to learn to rely on their own abilities to face life’s challenges.

But before setting off, they had one important task: trying out a practical new item Hua Buwan had specifically brought for them—rain boots! With these, everyone could walk freely across the damp, muddy beach without worrying about soaking their feet.

Right then, a flash of inspiration crossed Hua Buwan’s mind, sparking a brilliant idea. She proposed that the Ling family act as her agents in Dongxuan Country, taking charge of selling the goods from her supermarket. The resulting profits could be divided according to a set ratio. Of course, any items they acquired could still be used to trade directly with her as well. This was simply an additional way to make money.

When Hua Buwan first pitched this idea, the Ling family members universally waved their hands in refusal. In their eyes, these goods belonged entirely to her; how could they possibly take a cut of the profits? But facing their rejection, Hua Buwan didn’t give up. She earnestly explained that without their help, it would be difficult for these products to open up the local market. Moreover, this partnership would not only increase everyone’s income but also forge a closer, more harmonious relationship between both sides. Ultimately, through her relentless persuasion, the Ling family was convinced and unanimously agreed to a 70-30 profit split.

After getting everything ready, Xu Panqing, Ling Yunge, Ling Qianjun, and Ling Qianfan excitedly slipped on the rain boots Hua Buwan had provided, ready to hit the shore. The sea breeze brushed against their faces, bringing a hint of coolness. Arriving at the beach, the four of them were greeted by a shoreline scattered with all sorts of shells and conchs. They couldn’t wait to bend down and start hunting for their own treasures.

Xu Panqing picked up a beautiful conch and happily showed it to Ling Yunge. Not to be outdone, Ling Yunge found a large oyster. The two compared their catches, their laughter echoing along the coast. Nearby, Ling Qianjun and Ling Qianfan were on the lookout for crabs and fish. They carefully flipped over rocks, afraid of startling the little creatures hiding beneath.

Before long, Ling Qianfan caught a small crab and jumped up in excitement. Not wanting to be shown up, Ling Qianjun found a fish and quietly held it up for his brother to see. Instantly, Ling Qianfan was totally pumped up, brimming with competitive spirit. Watching their swift and nimble movements, Hua Buwan realized they had clearly gotten the hang of it. Beachcombing? They had it in the bag.

Time passed quickly, and the sun began to dip in the west. The five returned fully loaded, holding their abundant harvest with blissful smiles radiating from their faces.
