Stealing Spree

Chapter 2662 - 2662: Jealous Nami

As I strolled back into Nami’s neighborhood, a sense of anticipation swelled within me. I quickly sent a message to the girls whom I had left waiting at Nami’s house, confirming that I was on my way back. They were still inside, and we had all agreed to keep our little gathering under wraps to avoid raising any eyebrows with Auntie Kasumi when I went to collect them.

While it was definitely part of our plans to discuss everything with her eventually, I felt that now wasn’t the time. We still needed to tread carefully, for now.

And as I thought of that, I also couldn’t help but reflect on the fact that I should make an effort to be a proper boyfriend to Nami. That way, she wouldn’t be worried about her daughter.

Just as I reached their gates, Nami swung it open with a radiant smile lighting up her face, “Ruu, you’re back. Have you escorted them safely?”

I caught sight of Chii, who was also standing there with Nami. But the fake gyaru immediately turned around, leaving the two of us alone. That’s her being considerate again.

In any case, I could already tell how lively the usual quiet house was with the presence of the gyarus inside.

It makes me wonder if Auntie Kasumi finds it troublesome. Should I apologize?

Wait… That will be suspicious. I guess I should just greet her instead and then escort the girls out.

“Mhm, everyone’s safely home. I stopped by to see Kazuha-nee.” I replied, flashing Nami a grin as I stepped through the gate.

Nami’s eyes narrowed playfully before giggling, “I knew it. You wouldn’t miss a chance to check on her. Ugh… can I get jealous of that, Ruu?”

“Why not?” I said with a teasing shrug, “If you’re feeling jealous, just say so. That gives me a chance to make it up to you, don’t you think?”

Nami’s expression shifted before playfully tugging at my collar, drawing me closer to her. “Indeed. Then, I’m jealous… How will you make it up to me now?”

“Let’s see…” I leaned in closer and whispered, “Why don’t I cook for you tonight? Of course, that is if… Auntie Kasumi has already made dinner.”

“Hmph. You should’ve suggested that earlier.” Nami dramatically huffed before her adorable pout made a comeback. It’s been a while since I saw that.

I furrowed my brow to feign disappointment, “So, that’s a no, then?”

“Un… Mom already made dinner. She’s even asking everyone to join her at the table. You too… can you?”

“You know I always save room for another dinner,” I replied as my lips curved up into a grin.

“Idiot Ruu. Don’t force yourself to eat too much. It’s perfectly fine to just… eat a little. The most important thing is… you’ll be eating with me.” Nami’s voice softened at that last part and I couldn’t help but feel a warm rush of affection.

“Then, let’s do that.” I agreed before hooking my arm around her waist, pulling her closer to me and crossing the final distance between our lips.

Kissing her under the moonlight like this feels like a scene straight out of one of those romantic dramas we’d probably laugh at. But this does hit just right. It made the moment more special.

Nami’s lips were soft, warm, and carried that familiar sweetness that I had become addicted to ever since stealing her first kiss. Her hands let go of my collar and slid up to my shoulders, holding onto me tightly, like she was trying to make sure I wasn’t going anywhere.

The faint glow of the streetlights and the distant hum of the neighborhood wrapped us in this quiet little bubble, where it was just me and her, stealing a moment before we had to face the chaos of her house.

“Ruu,” She murmured as we pulled apart, a warm and affectionate smile on her lips. They appeared a little glossy from the moonlight and how wet they became from our kiss. “… I need more of that. You’re gonna have to keep making up for my jealousy over Kazuha-nee. I’m not sharing you with her that easily.”

I chuckled, brushing a strand of her hair behind her ear, “What? Only to her? Is there a reason for that?”

“Not really a reason but she’s so beautiful I feel like she might steal you from us completely.”

“You’re just as beautiful, you know? Besides, that’s Hana’s schtick. Remind me how that went for her.”

“Eh… even so… I dealt with Hana before when she openly declared her intention… Kazuha-nee, on the other hand… I still feel a little afraid to meet her directly. You know… because of Kazuo and stuff. She might think I… threw him away easily.”

“You don’t have to worry about that. She understands. Besides, I stole you from him. That’s the official story. I did my best to make you fall for me and Kazuha-nee understood that. Of course, I also understand why you feel that way. Let’s see… why don’t I bring you two out?”

“Ruu! You just want to take us on a date at the same time. No. That won’t do. I can’t have you split your attention between us.”

“That’s how you see it, huh?”

“Un. You playboy. You’re mine.” With a hint of possessiveness in her voice, Nami pulled me down for another kiss. She sucked on my lips eagerly as if she wanted to leave a mark that’d remind me who I belong to.

Well, I belong to all of them.

Her hands slid from my shoulders to the back of my neck. Her fingers tangled in my hair as she pressed herself closer, her body molding against mine in a way that sparked my desire for her again.

The kiss deepened, her tongue entangling with mine with a playful insistence.

For her to show this kind of possessiveness, I couldn’t help but think that all of my girls were developing the same trait. Just like how possessive Akane is to me. Of course, that possessiveness was quite loose when it came to the other girls within our complex relationship.

My hands tightened on her waist, pulling her just a bit closer, savoring the warmth of her body and the way she melted into me.

“Alright, alright, Nami,” I murmured when we finally broke apart, both of us a little breathless. “You’ve made your point. I’m yours. No need to stake your claim so hard, you know?”

She huffed, her cheeks flushed a soft pink under the moonlight. “Hmph. I have to, Ruu. With all of us around you, I can’t let my guard down. Especially not with Kazuha-nee.”

After that, she rolled her eyes and let go of me. “Okay, come on, let’s go inside before Mom starts wondering why we’re lingering out here like lovesick idiots.”

With a playful tug, she led me through the gate, her hand wrapping tightly around mine.
