The atmosphere of the entire venue shifted the moment Kyle made his appearance.

It wasn’t because he was radiating Genesis. In fact, those particularly sensitive to the energy could barely sense his presence at all. To them, he seemed no different from an ordinary person, as though he hadn’t even awakened.

And yet, the moment he stepped forward, accompanied by his apostles and Veronica taking their places at his side, the attention of the entire gathering was drawn toward him.

There was something about the way they stood behind him, their unquestioning composure and the ease with which they acknowledged his position, that made it difficult for anyone to dismiss him as an ordinary man.

"I welcome you all," Kyle began, taking a step forward. "I’m glad you could make time to attend this gathering."

His greeting was met with silence.

For a moment, no one seemed particularly eager to respond. The guests exchanged glances, some studying Kyle with open curiosity while others appeared to be waiting for someone else to break the ice.

Eventually, Gallard stepped forward.

"Um, excuse me, but I’ve been dragged here against my will by that not-so-kind gentleman over there." He pointed an accusing finger at Arthur, who stood rather composed despite the finger pointed at him.

"I had a performance to attend, and I also had a date waiting for me. But apparently, this meeting is important to us and to humanity as a whole."

He continued speaking despite the increasingly displeased expressions of those surrounding Kyle. Either he failed to notice their reactions, or he simply didn’t care enough to stop.

"Now, don’t misunderstand me. I respect your dedication to the people, but I’ve barely ever used my abilities to protect anyone. I’m a musician. My responsibility is to spread love and compassion through my music, to give people something beautiful in a world that often offers them very little."

His words carried a certain conviction, though there was little doubt that his primary concern was being made to abandon his own commitments for a gathering he hadn’t chosen to attend.

Ethan, who had been listening with growing irritation, was just about to step forward when Kyle raised a hand, silently stopping him.

Ethan glanced at his lord. Kyle’s expression remained perfectly calm, showing no sign of annoyance at Gallard’s incessant complaints. Seeing this, Ethan suppressed his own displeasure and remained where he was. If his benevolent lord was willing to listen, then he would do the same.

Eventually, Gallard ran out of things to say.

Kyle regarded the man for a moment before speaking.

"I’m quite familiar with your lifestyle, Mister Gallard Asfollo. You have a particular fondness for spreading love through your music and sharing your creations with the world whenever the opportunity presents itself. And I must admit, some of those creations have had a considerable impact on humanity."

Gallard drew in a sharp breath.

For the briefest moment, his composure faltered, but he quickly recovered, forcing his lips into a stiff smile.

"I’m afraid I don’t quite understand what you mean by those rather roundabout words."

Kyle merely shook his head, as though he had expected precisely that response.

"Understandable."

He then shifted his attention to the entire gathering, allowing his gaze to sweep across the assembled guests. The casual exchange had come to an end, and the change in his demeanor made that abundantly clear.

"I don’t expect every one of you to understand the severity of the situation just yet," Kyle began. "However, what I’m about to disclose today must be conveyed to your fellow apostles as well. I want each of you to understand that you’re not here merely to represent yourselves. You’re here on behalf of those who couldn’t attend this gathering."

He paused briefly, giving his words time to settle over the audience.

"Today, you are not merely guests. You are messengers, entrusted with carrying what you learn here back to those who depend on you."

The guests began exchanging uncertain glances, their curiosity growing as they tried to make sense of Kyle’s words. Some appeared eager to ask questions, while others seemed content to wait and see what he intended to reveal next.

Kyle, however, had something else in mind.

He turned toward Arthur. "Would you mind helping them locate where we are?"

Arthur blinked in surprise, momentarily unsure of what his lord meant. Then, a vision flashed through his mind, and his expression changed as understanding dawned on him.

Arthur closed his eyes and began his spell.

It was subtle at first, like an imperceptible change in pressure, but it soon drew the attention of everyone present. A figure emerged into the gathering, her sudden appearance catching even the more experienced apostles off guard.

"Wahhh..."

Alya was the first to voice her astonishment, her eyes widening as she took in the unexpected arrival.

She was hardly alone in her reaction. Conversations died away, and more than a few guests found themselves staring with their lips slightly parted.

Pale grey hair flowed down her neck, cascading over her shoulders before falling all the way to her slender waist. She wore a white dress that bore little resemblance to an ordinary gown. Its delicate fabric enveloped her lithe figure like a ceremonial shroud, lending her an ethereal appearance that seemed almost at odds with the mundane surroundings.

Her eyes were brown, the warm shade of caramel, and they remained fixed on Kyle from the moment she appeared. She seemed entirely oblivious to the countless gazes directed her way, her attention reserved for the man standing before her.

As she walked forward, her long hair swayed gently with each step, following the graceful movement of her waist. There was a natural elegance to her stride that made it difficult for the onlookers to look away, as though she carried herself with a quiet dignity that needed no deliberate display.

Yet the woman paid them no mind. She continued toward Kyle until she stood directly before him.

"My Lord, I apologize for being late."

Her voice was soft but carried easily through the suddenly silent hall. She lowered her head in a gesture of respect, her pale hair slipping forward over her shoulders.

"I am Daina, guided by the light of Lord Apollo and here to serve you as your confidant."

Amanda had a scowl on her face when she looked at the woman.

Something about her pissed Amanda off.
