Chapter 704: Information on the Golden Lion Tribe

Dolfi stared unyieldingly at him, refusing to respond.

"Just kill them. We can capture more in the village. I don’t believe any of them would tell us." Yskaela remarked, looking somewhat annoyed at the beastkin warriors.

She had always been domineering. If it was up to her, she would have already beheaded the two.

"No! Don’t hurt our folks!" Ralof growled at her, revealing her sharp teeth.

"I didn’t know that goats have sharp teeth." Yskaela smiled mockingly.

The two beastkin warriors glared at her, but she simply smiled at them.

"I will tell you, but you must not hurt our folks!" Dolfi muttered, gritting his teeth.

"Dolfi!" Ralof stared at him hesitantly.

"We have no choice here, Ralof! If we don’t tell them, they might hurt everyone!"

Ralof wanted to give a rebuttal, but the words didn’t come out of his mouth. In the end, he just lowered his head and gave a helpless sigh.

Seeing that they were ready to say something, Alaric patted Dolfi’s shoulder. "If you tell us what we want to know, I promise you that we won’t hurt your kin."

Dolfi didn’t seem to believe him, but answered nonetheless. "The Golden Lion Sovereign rules the Golden Lion tribe. He is a Beyonder, a warrior of unequaled strength."

He revealed a look of awe and fear when he said this.

"Other than him, there is also his brother, Blood Scar, who acts as his right-hand man. His strength is only slightly weaker than the sovereign."

"Beneath them are the twelve great guardians who are unrivaled in the Unfettered realm. They are fearless and they are loyal to the sovereign."

"Each of the great guardians has two deputies who are also Unfettered warriors. As for how many Unfettered warriors they have in their tribe, I don’t know the exact numbers, but we estimate that they have at least fifty."

Alaric’s face was calm as he listened, but he was inwardly alarmed. They had just set foot on Cangnan and they had already encountered a formidable force.

"Among the vassal forces, is there a Beyonder?" He tentatively asked.

Dolfi nodded. "There are two. The first one is from the Blue Scaled Rhino Tribe. Their former village chief is a Beyonder. He might be old, but his power is known in all of Red Mountain Territory."

"The other one is the Crocodile King of the Stone Valley Swamp."

Alaric wore a thoughtful look.

"If there are two Beyonders in the vassal forces, why don’t they band together and break free from the control of the golden lion tribe?"

Dolfi sneered. "It is not as easy as you think. They may be Beyonders, but they are far weaker than Blood Scar and the Golden Lion Sovereign. Moreover, the Golden Lion tribe has many loyal vassal forces."

"There was once a strong vassal force with two Beyonders who tried to rebel against them, but they were quickly defeated by Blood Scar alone. All their kinsmen were annihilated and the women were kept alive as slaves."

Alaric furrowed his eyebrows.

The golden lion tribe was a lot stronger than he had imagined. If the allied army were to set up a temporary settlement here, they would have to eventually face them. By then, there would be a great war.

Alaric could already imagine the amount of bloodshed and destruction that would cause.

"Since you are outsiders, I advise you to leave this place soon. If the golden lion tribe hears of your presence, they would definitely send their warriors to find you." Dolfi smiled coldly.

Alaric stood up and cut off their restraints. "Bring us inside your village. We want to speak with your chieftain."

Now freed, Ralof and Dolfi thought about attacking them, but Alaric’s oppressive aura scared them from taking action.

Before Dolfi could respond, Ralof grabbed his shoulder and answered. "The chieftain is not in the village right now. He is out hunting with some of our warriors."

Alaric stared deeply at him, looking for any falsehoods in his eyes.

After a moment of silence, he smiled faintly. "In that case, please notify your chieftain that I wish to speak with him. We will wait here, but you must not let us wait. If we get impatient, we might decide to visit your village and have a chat with your kin."

Ralof and Dolfi clenched their fists as they nodded. "We will convey your words to our chief."

"Good. You may go." Alaric waved his hand in a ’shooing’ gesture.

The two beastkin warriors didn’t linger. They turned around and hurriedly left.

Yskaela stared at the two running beastmen. "Are you sure about this? Those two could sell us to this golden lion tribe."

Alaric shrugged. "If they value their kin, they will make the right decision. If I am wrong, then it shall be war."

He feared no war. In fact, he was already prepared for a big battle even before they had arrived.

To achieve his goals and to fulfill the promises he made, his path was destined to be filled with blood and war.

Yskaela smiled at his words. This was what she liked about him.

"Should we inform the others?"

Alaric shook his head. "Not for now. I want you to do something for me."

Raising an eyebrow, Yskaela asked. "What is it?"

"I plan to advance here. I need you to protect me." He responded with a serious expression.

Hearing this, Yskaela was stunned.

"You mean you will advance to the Beyonder realm?" She couldn’t help but raise the volume of her voice. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

Alaric was just in his early twenties, but his strength was increasing by leaps and bounds. No wonder he was labeled as the ultimate prodigy of the desolate region.

"Yes. I feel that the time has come." Alaric responded in a dramatic manner, looking as if it was part of his plans.

With a glint of excitement, Yskaela nodded. "Alright. I will protect you! I will make sure that you will advance without any trouble!"

Alaric didn’t waste any time. He opened the system screen and used the realm advancement card.

As soon as he activated the card, the mana in the whole Red Mountain Territory converged to his location.
