Chapter 1026: Chapter 132: Investigation 2

"So, someone has followed the trail and found us."

In a quantum computer room, Gao Gong watched the golden starship on the surveillance screen, along with those Mirta people labeled as high-risk, and murmured to himself.

An electronic image of Lolita appeared on the screen.

"According to my data calculations, there is a 61.1% chance that the stowaway list was leaked, and a 19.4% chance that it’s due to the Anti-Trafficking Bureau’s routine patrols."

Gao Gong chuckled and teased:

"You’re just a planet host from a Level 2 Civilization. Can you really calculate Level 3 Civilization data accurately?"

"Unpredictable factors are indeed increasing. For example, I can’t calculate this ’carbon-based detector’ device, which is beyond the scope of my data processing."

"Carbon-based detector, indeed—"

Gao Gong stopped mocking the other party, for this thing is indeed troublesome. It’s fair to say, every Mechanical Civilization would deploy such devices all over their territory.

The trouble with such devices is that the stronger the carbon-based creature, the higher the probability of being detected.

And once the number of these ’carbon-based detectors’ reaches millions or billions, then the decapitation plans of high-tier carbon-based warriors would basically fail before they even start.

But fortunately, it has probably not yet gone into mass production. If it did, even Gao Gong would most likely be discovered.

And then he’d get a free taste of a few planet cannons!

"But I’m curious, why haven’t they discovered you?"

Lolita’s electronic visage stared at Gao Gong curiously. She knew very well that he possessed a very powerful carbon-based biological body, which in some respects, could even isolate the power of the Mechanical Revolution.

Gao Gong smiled and didn’t answer.

He was as steady as an old dog in his actions, never taking big risks unless he was sure.

At this moment, in front of Lolita’s vision, another ’Gao Gong’ hovered in the void, encased in a transparent bug shell on his body surface. The translucent worm slowly wriggled, releasing information identical to the real environment with each movement.

During the dormant phase of the ’Memory Mother,’ in a sense, he was the new ’Memory Mother.’

As the ultimate virtual disaster that confuses information, no technology other than Ascension Technology could detect him.

That was his greatest reliance.

So he didn’t care at all about the search carried out by the Anti-Trafficking Bureau agent named ’Sola.’

Inside the mechanical body, as the ’Mechanic Creation’ skill was repeatedly used, Gao Gong’s five constructs, Scythe Dance (upper arm), Moon Defect (forearm), Finger Nuo Dance (fingers), Möbius Ring (spine), and Divine Flower (lower leg), all melted and entered a secondary construction phase.

Gao Gong pondered on what kind of equipment to mold.

He didn’t lack attack skills; he even had Tier 4 ones, and under multiple talents and bloodlines’ blessings, even his basic attacks could inflict tens of thousands of damage.

But if he molded it into a piece of defensive equipment, then the strongest carbon-based restraint capability of the ’Construct Series’ would be wasted.

But molding it into an offensive piece would, in a way, cause another kind of waste.

Suddenly, Gao Gong had a flash of insight. A ’special skill’ he acquired earlier gave him an idea.

Systemic Prosthetic: Through forbidden transformation of the human body system, temporarily integrate prosthetics (of the same category) from different human body systems into the same human body system, creating explosive damage.

’If I mold it into a support-oriented construct, this mechanical construct could not only boost Mechanical System skills but also Biological System skills, wouldn’t that be great!’

’If Biological Side skills could enhance the ’carbon-based killer’ effect, would using ’carbon-based fruit’ also share this effect?’

’Carbon-based fruit’ itself is the essence of the carbon-based system. If combined with the ’carbon-based killer’ trait—

The image is too beautiful, Gao Gong can’t imagine it.

During the skill usage process, countless ’Mechanic Experiences’ churned in Gao Gong’s mind, and inspiration gleamed like the stars.

Gradually, the prototype of equipment took shape in Gao Gong’s computations.

It looked like a metal lotus, and when the ’metal lotus leaf’ retracted, it transformed into a golden lotus seedhead. Its stem section, with metallic filaments continually splitting and merging, sometimes formed ’tree roots,’ and other times turned into scattered fine needles.

...

"No more?" Sola asked coldly, facing Chawei.

The number, 30,000, although seemingly a lot, meant little to an Anti-Trafficking Bureau agent. He carried several bloodline detection devices, not to mention the ’carbon-based detector,’ a mighty killing weapon.

Yet, aside from a few already whitened stowaways, he hadn’t discovered any new entries.

People like Chawei, the ’Whitener,’ could assimilate into Mirta society. For example, Chawei joined the ’Mechanician Association,’ the organization that first invented the ’Mecha Frenzy,’ whose leader directly received the Federation’s highest technological achievement award.

Such institutions represented the highest technological level of this Level 3 Civilization, warranting the necessary respect from even large conglomerates.

But to Sola, it didn’t matter.

The presence of a Tier 3 Telekinesis Master is intimidating. This Tier 3 profession completely gave up the assault and invincibility brought by wearing mecha; no Star Armor could match their near-explosive telekinetic power.

In exchange, they gained terrifying Spiritual Power.

As Sola fumed, the entire sky instantly clouded over, and the artificial atmosphere seemed to encounter an irresistible force, compressed into rolling dark clouds that covered hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands of miles—a whole continent engulfed in darkness.

Telekinesis Masters are rare even in the Mirta Federation, as it’s entirely a talent-dependent profession. A highly talented Telekinesis Master can even construct an artificial dimension.

Chawei, located at the center of the telekinetic storm, was unfortunately caught in it, his skin splitting inch by inch, and amid his screams, his eyes and tongue shot out, revealing bloody features. Then several soft tentacles sprouted, while the cracked skin displayed gray-black, parched skin, with hands and feet tearing open, revealing fully evolved pristine palms.

Chawei revealed his true form.

A creature with a bird-like head, eyeless and noseless, with the beak area comprising a soft, mammalian humanoid form.

Sola looked at him disdainfully, refraining from dealing the killing blow. After cursing ’hybrid,’ he flew into the sky, bursting through the metal atmosphere.

"He’s gone."

In a quantum computing processing center, Lolita’s phantom addressed Gao Gong.

"Mm."

"To be safe, I’ll first modify the fully equipped Tier 3 Starship on this planet to take you away, and we’ll sort out the rest later."

"Mm."

Gao Gong’s attention had long shifted from the outside world.

He was now completing the final construction.

Sola was physically traversing interstellar space to the nearest Federation space dock.

A Tier 3 Interstellar Warrior could already traverse the cosmic space within a Stellar System, entering light-speed mode before exhausting their energy.

This was the limit for regular species.

Beyond that was the realm of Ascension Species.

Reaching that level, entering light-speed mode, or even superluminal mode for extended periods, was no longer an issue.

As a trained Anti-Trafficking Bureau agent, Sola remained calm and analytical, even in a fit of rage.

He didn’t believe the other party left no clues whatsoever.

After what seemed an eternity of contemplation, he suddenly thought of something and hastily contacted Green Day Headquarters via the communication device, receiving a reply.

Turns out, the audit period of the Green Day Stellar Industrial Cluster hadn’t arrived yet.

In other words, the auditors were fakes!!
