Chapter 2093: Demon (III)

Li Hao was expressionless as he quietly watched Long Zhan. Barriers rose in front of him, ones made of endless faith and order. More energy continued to churn toward him. The western region was such a nice place.

It was impossible to collect so much power of order anywhere else. It wouldn’t be that simple to either.

After all, the human heart was too complicated. However, it was much simpler here. Chaos Sky had laid all the groundwork and thoughtfully erased all of the complicated thoughts from the people. The denizens of the west were simple creatures.

Long Zhan smashed through barrier after barrier, but there was an endless supply of dao rules that came his way.

“Chaos Sky!” the dragon raged. Don’t you have any way to take care of this problem, you miserable bastard?? Are you letting Li Hao take your western region, just like this? Is this your home turf or what?!

If the situation continued, then Li Hao... might be able to kill Long Zhan once he collected enough strength of order.

The chaos beast began to grow frantic.

If Chaos Sky still didn’t stop the young man, Long Zhan... wouldn’t continue to wait until Li Hao collected enough energy of order from the west to kill him. He would withdraw ahead of time.

Chaos Sky swiftly extended his mind as two powerhouses furiously kept up the offensive.

“There is no need to worry,” he grunted. “I will take back control. Li Hao, you are putting your own neck in the noose!”

A surge of dark energy emanated outward, tainting the previous pure strength of order. It stretched onward and snaked toward the various worlds.

I’m just absorbing the darkness within their hearts! So long as the darkness invades, these people won’t believe you because of a simple word. You’re too naive, Li Hao. I can still easily turn the tables and control you.

Since I took away the darkness, I can naturally return it!

Surges of darkness followed the path of order and swiftly returned to their origins—the worlds of countless humans.

The thousands of worlds in the western region and its countless cultivators were suddenly pawns and toys in the hands of these two.

As darkness returned and invaded, the stream of order that Li Hao was gathering began to stutter, halt, and destabilize. When the people’s hearts were scattered and had their own thoughts, they were hard to lead when they no longer placed their faith in one being.

Chaos Sky breathed out with slight relief, as did Long Zhan. Thank goodness!

It would be entirely too disappointing if Chaos Sky didn’t have any ability to strike back.

Darkness appeared on Li Hao’s face and he shook his head at Chaos Sky. “You’ve finally managed to create a clean locale in the western region. Are you going to return everything to what it was?”

With the power of darkness once more encroaching, that meant that Chaos Sky had returned the desires, ambitions, and dark sides that he’d extinguished. Then that western paradise would no longer exist.

“Everything will return to normal after I kill you or control you!” Chaos Sky said aloofly. “What does a temporary loss of control change?”

Don’t try to shake me!

The Human King ignored their exchange and seized the opening created by Chaos Sky dismissing some of his power of darkness. He waved his blade around and rushed the man!

Fang Ping didn’t make a sound. He only ran his mouth when he couldn’t beat his opponent. When he could, he always opted to beat them to death first.

When he spoke more than he acted, that meant he wanted to distract the other because he was no match for them. He wouldn’t waste time and effort in curses when the proper opportunity was at hand!

Therefore, one only needed to see how much nonsense the Human King was spewing to judge if he could match his opponent or not. That was a point that Li Hao was well aware of.

Chaos Sky’s interference with Li Hao caused a very faint decline in his own strength. Fang Ping took full advantage of that opening and seized the right timing. That was also what he was skilled at.

A myriad of daos appeared and he himself turned into the daos. They worshipped him.

His internal world circled around the heavens and earth, enshrouding Chaos Sky. The latter’s face twitched and he repressed a scowl. Li Hao and the Human King were both very young, but were people that he didn’t really want to provoke.

They were both insane, when it came down to things!

The older one was, the more afraid of death they were. The younger... the less contained they were. It was like they didn’t care about life or death.

Long Zhan heaved a sigh of relief when he saw darkness tinge Li Hao’s complexion. The young man had a lot of tricks up his sleeves, but he’d underestimated Chaos Sky in the end. Even though the Human King was taking advantage of Chaos Sky’s momentary weakness, Li Hao would still be in for it now!

The young man, however, smiled. He watched Long Zhan and brought up his sword to block the dragon. Heaven’s Stratagem hovered in front of Li Hao as a shield, preventing the dragon from attacking. Meanwhile, the young man continued to absorb the power of order tainted with darkness.

Long Zhan let loose with a furious barrage!

Boom boom boom!

Heaven’s Stratagem shook from the offensive and some cracks appeared over it. That spurred the dragon onto further effort. It was like his violent nature had been fully stirred up.

“Break!!”

Rumble!

Heaven’s Stratagem had already been damaged in the earlier fighting. Now the cracks were even bigger.

Craaaack... rang out from the treasure. Long Zhan lit up with glee!

Not only would Li Hao be doomed when Heaven’s Stratagem broke, but so would Chaos Sky be further weakened. He would no longer be able to control order. Even if he could, he would need to regather his strength before doing anything.

This would be killing two birds with one stone!

This spurred the dragon onto greater effort, which quickly widened the cracks.

Having become part of the dao of order, Li Hao coughed up blood that was intermixed with a large amount of black. “If you really break it, Chaos Sky might eliminate your race once he defeats us!”

Long Zhan remained coldly aloof. That could wait for until it actually happened.

He raised his claws!

Boom!

Body dao erupted again, formidable and boundless without end.

More cracking could be heard from Heaven’s Stratagem’s. Chaos Sky furrowed his brows but didn’t say anything. Long Zhan... might not be able to overcome Li Hao if he didn’t break the treasure. And since Chaos Sky himself was preoccupied with the Human King and Spring Autumn, he was hard pressed to spare anything for Li Hao.

They might as well break the treasure first, deal a huge blow to Li Hao, then figure everything out later.

This was when the young man stirred with new mischief!

The supernatural characters that’d landed in the various western worlds began to exude a faint spirit. the spirit of order dao that was intermixed with darkness once more drifted outward.

On the fringes of the west.

Disorder was still in hiding as he observed the changes in the universe. He suddenly raised an eyebrow when he noticed order dissipating in the void. Darkness invaded it, causing the strength of disorder to surge madly.

The spirit of disorder that he’d destroyed himself began gathering again, and at a very fast pace!

It was like... it would reawaken at any time!

Disorder blinked, then suddenly understood. Order was still under Li Hao’s control, but it’d been invaded by darkness. Chaos Sky was releasing the most primal desires and darkness of disorder in an attempt to wrest control away from the young man.

All of the chaos was sinking into darkness and disorder. And since the group of powerhouses was madly trying to kill each other, that further added to the disorder in the void. That was why the recently extinguished spirit was revitalizing so quickly!

Disorder’s eyes widened when he noted how quickly the spirit was recovering. It was astonishing! At this rate, he would recover his previous battle strength before long and return to his peak. He would once more wield the strength he’d brought to bear against Chaos Sky.

“Li Hao?” he murmured. Was the kid doing this on purpose?

Li Hao’s supernatural characters were scattered all over and now emitting spirit. That further propelled the growth of disorder spirit.

The Disorder master’s expression flickered rapidly!

He’d been an ordinary eighth rank in the absence of spirit. With that level of strength, he wouldn’t join in the fight involving the supreme, much less the ones of the overlords. It would be the greatest loss of all if he actually died there.

But as more spirit revived and disorder gathered, he might... be able to leap to the position of the strongest. A large portion of Chaos Sky’s darkness had drifted away and his order had been seized by someone else. With the Human King and Spring Autumn also attacking him...

He’d consumed a lot of his resources.

Would Disorder be the strongest one once his dao’s spirit was reformed?

What does he want me to do?

Does he want me to regain my spirit and take on Chaos Sky?

Why should I help Li Hao? None of them are anything good. There’s no one good in the entire chaos universe! Chaos Sky isn’t a good person, I’m not, and neither is Li Hao.

“You want me to help you?” sneered Disorder. That wasn’t happening!

The longer you guys fight, the more injured both of you will be. I have to thank you, Li Hao. If I recover my full strength... It’ll be my chance when both of you are licking your wounds!

The power of disorder fluctuated wildly around him!

Spirit gathered at an astonishing rate. Disorder’s jaw dropped at the sight.

Damn that’s fast! I gotta run before doing anything!

Otherwise, they might detect where I am once enough spirit gathers. If they find out I’m here... the cautious Chaos Sky might focus on me instead. That would suck. While I won’t be afraid of him once I have enough spirit, why should I be Li Hao’s shield?

Disorder was just about to dart away when his eyes widened dramatically!

Endless spirit was streaming toward him!
