Chapter 2061: Order (I)

The edge of the northern region.

Disorder was in hot pursuit and frowning slightly as his turn of bad luck. He seemed... to know who was running ahead of him.

“It’s him...” Disorder looked coldly at the fleeing figure. It must be that guy!

So this meant to say that he’d come from the west, that he might’ve been in the west with Chaos Sky all these years. Was Chaos Sky the reincarnation of Order, or had he simply inherited Order’s heritage?

Disorder had exerted great effort to kill Order back in the day. If his memories served correctly, the shadow in front of him had been the leader of the Nine Layer Guard.

It was a fancy name, but in reality, it simply referred to a group of guys who did manual labor for Order back then. They ferried the myriad of worlds around, crafting the nine layers. Despite Order being incredibly formidable as a ninth rank dao master, the chaos was so vast that he couldn’t possibly do everything himself.

There was a large sum of powerhouses at his beck and call under his banner. They shifted the chaos, segregating it to create a real stratum of nine layers throughout the chaos. Each world would belong to a layer and each layer was a heaven unto itself.

Those of the Nine Layer Guard were all domineering. How else were they able to move worlds around?

Some of the worlds were even eighth or ninth rank worlds!

Sadly, most of the guard died in the major battle that ended in Order’s downfall. A select few escaped, and some completely vanished after some time was spent hunting them down.

It looked like those were the people by Chaos Sky’s side!

He must have recognized me! The look in Disorder’s eyes hardened. Damn it, he was so unlucky as to encounter the Nine Layer Guard as soon as he arrived in the north. It looks like... Chaos Sky might have sensed me a long time ago.

But how?

...Order’s treasure, the Heaven’s Stratagem?

Disorder raised a brow. Had that treasure not fully shattered yet? It could observe the entire chaos!

But then the man brightened. They hadn’t found the Heaven’s Stratagem after killing Order. Perhaps it’d come into Chaos Sky’s hands.

If he could commandeer it instead... it would be a boon for his goal to control order.

“I’ve yet to recover to peak condition, so I shouldn’t chase him any further. Chaos Sky is sure to know that I’ve returned, so I should bring the subordinates of the other ninth ranks under my command first. I’ll have them help me recover some strength, or I’ll easily fall into a trap!”

Disorder stepped back from the chase. Not only was he not in peak condition, but he was running on dregs. He hadn’t recovered much on the way to the northern region.

“Let’s head to Five Elements major world first...” He turned and left.

Up ahead, the shadow paused and took a look back. Had Disorder stopped?

He might... have recognized me!

But that is just as well. After this, I’m sure that Disorder is in the north.

The shadow shook his great dao and sent a message back. Disorder was in the north!

Chaos Sky took a break from his quick pace and breathed out. The situation was clear now. That was good!

I just hope that none of the other regions have discovered anything, which means they won’t stick their nose into things. If I kill Disorder, I’ll have a foundation with which to fully unite the chaos!

Order... must be reconstructed!

The nine layers must be completed and the Heaven’s Stratagem will become the rules of the worlds. It has been so many years that this chaos has come into existence, it is time for it to be unified!

“When everyone possesses only one will... and my will replaces the will of the chaos... I will be unafraid even if Skyward descends!” A bright light entered Chaos Sky’s eyes.

He shot through the void and hurtled toward the northern region. The expansion of Chaos Sky Region would start from the north!

This will be my territory by the time the rest of you react!

Li Hao, you think too simply in hoping to have the elemental envoys dog my footsteps. Skyward’s replica wouldn’t have given me so much trouble if my mind wasn’t elsewhere. What is a mere replica worth?

A primary body is my target and my chance is at hand!

Li Hao saw an opportunity in front of him. Would Chaos Sky come to the northern region?

Pulling out the rug from beneath Chaos Sky was an option, but Li Hao was still debating his next moves. The situation was yet to reach that stage. Chaos Sky and Disorder weren’t fully entangled yet. As a result, Chaos Sky would still be generally on guard.

The young man decided that he stood a greater chance at Five Elements major world.

Where was his teacher? Could he find Yuan Shuo?

Of course he could!

Li Hao activated the Five Styles and searched for Yuan Shuo based on the ripples of its origin. Whether it was Chaos Sky or Disorder, both were powerhouses who were certain to have certain precautions in place. Once any conflict started, they would instantly consider who else might be involved and might benefit from the clash.

Hence, Li Hao needed to be prepared for two fronts!

Indeed, two fronts.

Either he chose Five Elements, or he chose Chaos Sky. Or... he picked both of them.

He needed someone’s help for this.

Skyflight wasn’t a viable candidate. The kind of chaos beast that revered a heavyweight’s strength wouldn’t necessarily take actual orders. It would be perfectly normal for it to run off as soon as they split up.

Hence, Li Hao needed to look for his teacher in the northern region. Of course, some danger would be involved. But danger was just part of life when one roamed through the chaos. What was there to be afraid of?

Faint ripples shook the void.

Yuan Shuo’s butt was in the air as he dug in the void around Five Elements major world. He quirked his eyebrow and looked into the distance. A surprised look entered his eyes.

It was the Five Styles.

Li Hao?

What was that little bastard doing out here?

Here to watch me make a fool out of myself? And seriously, do you expect me to immediately take care of eight eighth ranks?

Yuan Shuo cursed to himself for a while before sending ripples of the Five Styles and his aura spirit back in return.

Li Hao appeared with a smile on his face. I knew it, teacher must be nearby. This is just as I guessed.

“Digging holes?” The young man’s grin widened when he saw what his teacher was doing. “There’s no technical expertise involved with that, nor will they be that useful. We revealed that tactic at Skyward major world. While we’ve never been in the north...”

Li Hao abruptly brought sword qi to bear and brought it down on Yuan Shuo!

The old man started, his eyes widening slightly, but he didn’t move. This Li Hao was real!

No one other than his disciple could cultivate the Five Styles to this level.

The shadow of a cicada seemed to appear when the sword descended. It shattered.

Li Hao glowered at it; some strands of Yuan Shuo’s hair drifted down.

“Spring Autumn?” He frowned slightly.

Li Hao inclined his head.

Spring Autumn!

Damn, she left a shadow with my master to keep him under surveillance. Damn her!

Li Hao frowned and looked toward the south. Was Spring Autumn... in the south or the north?

“Shit!” Yuan Shuo mottled with rage and ground his teeth. Screw this shit! When had Spring Autumn set eyes on him? He didn’t have the faintest clue!

The old man suddenly drooped. I had no idea that someone was tailing me all this time. I needed Li Hao to take care of my problem, which might have exposed his presence in the process!

Fuck!

Li Hao’s eyes chilled. This part of his plan was pivotal to the greater picture. Would Spring Autumn interfere with him?

A winter cicada!

It was impressive that she had made her way to present day. It was also a grueling journey that inspired a great deal of respect from Li Hao. He was wary of the southern overlord, but if she really got in the way... He wouldn’t mind giving her a hard time.

“You and I are master and disciple, we stem from the same origin!” The young man grinned. “Teacher, choose if you’d like to go to Chaos Sky Region or stay in Five Elements Region. There is bound to be a battle that erupts in the north... But of course, there will be eighth ranks on guard no matter where we go.

“We have a bit of a chance when it comes to Five Elements major world... We can pretend to be Disorder’s replica...” Li Hao gave a brief overview of his plans.

If his teacher remained in Five Elements Region, then he would head to Chaos Sky Region. Once battle broke out, he would attack Chaos Sky major world, or have his teacher attack Five Elements major world, or conduct both at the same time based on how Chaos Sky and Disorder reacted.
