Her sword was coming towards Silva's neck. It was a clear attack that no one could dodge at all. But Silva was not just anyone. He kicked the floor and retreated a few steps back. Her sword snipped the edges of his hair, and they flew into the air.

Silva's eyes widened. He looked at her blade as it completed the arc. He stared at her body, her eyes, everything. He could see that there was a change. The person behind those eyes was no longer the Dawn that he knew.

It was as if, in that moment, she could sense every movement, and her eyes were everywhere.

Dawn saw that her attack was dodged. She gritted her teeth and stomped into the ground. The floor cracked under the pressure of her feet, and then she launched again. Her blade erupted with flames, and a massive arc travelled through the air toward Silva.

Silva leaned backwards and evaded her attack, bending at almost a ninety-degree angle. He raised his head, and Dawn was already coming again with a full downward slash with a flame-covered blade.

"I'll not lose this time. I'll not allow you to look down on me!" She roared as she swung.

"Look down on you?" Silva swung his blade up, and it clashed with hers. A massive explosion rippled through the air, and Dawn was pushed back while Silva took a step back.

"Tch, since you believe I look down on you, make me stop doing that," Silva said with no emotion in his eyes, waiting for her to attack.

She took a deep breath and then stepped forward. She blitzed forward at a speed that caused a sonic boom. The air around her rippled as she drove the blade toward him, but then suddenly, her sword vanished and appeared a bit higher up. Then it vanished and pointed down.

Before long, she gained many afterimages that made it impossible for Silva to pinpoint the real blade.

'She is thrusting so fast that she has created many afterimages of her sword. That's beyond impressive. It's impossible for sure. Crazy.'

He knew that there was no way for him to block the exact blade, so he did what he believed would stop her. He gripped the sword with both hands and then slashed down, and a massive arc of flames rushed towards her.

Dawn saw the attack coming. Silva thought for sure she was done, but she did not even move. She raised her sword and gritted her teeth.

"I said I am not losing!" She slashed down, and her flames exploded out and collided with Silva's attack. A massive explosion ripped through the air, and a wave of heat rushed in all directions.

Silva stared at the flames, and from them came Dawn, her eyes locked on him as she came down with a slash. Her sword created afterimages that made it impossible to be seen. Silva saw her coming. He pushed back and began evading every blade image. The sword stabbed into the ground, and each hit was a massive explosion that caused small craters.

'Her afterimages are actually attacks? There is no way.' Silva was in shock. He looked at the ground to see all the damage that she had caused.

"Keep your eyes on me!" Dawn roared and closed the gap. She swung her blade, and in that instant, her flames took a completely different shade. Their colours got brighter, and their heat grew deeper.

In that moment, Silva saw a flame crown form around her head. Her tail turned into a large flame that curled in the air.

'She is evolving. She is really evolving.' Silva was excited when he saw this. He smiled as her attack came towards him.

"But it's not enough yet. I have to push her until it completes," he said to himself and then charged in. He swung, and their blades collided in a massive explosion. He was pushed a few feet back, and she was hurled back until she slammed into a massive rock and blasted through it.

He did not stop there. He gave chase and attacked with even more ferocity. He swung down before she could even get up. She used her flame tail to block the attack and barely managed to survive that. Silva followed up with a close-distance flame breath right at her head.

She raised her sword and blocked the flames, the pressure weighing heavily on her as she tried to give her all to stop it.

"Arghhhhhhhh!"

She roared and pushed the flames back with all her strength, then used her tail to raise herself to her feet before attacking with a barrage of slashes. But Silva blocked all the attacks. He forced an opening and kicked her in the chest, throwing her back until she slammed into the ground and rolled to a stop.

She coughed up blood and got to her feet. She closed her eyes, and the intensity of her flames grew.

"Yes, that's it. Dig deeper, reach the depths of your soul, and bring out the power."

Dawn's crown grew even bigger, and she moved even faster as she rushed towards Silva. The ground beneath her was melting in real time as she got closer. She leaped into the air and swung down. Silva stepped to the side and parried her attack. She barely touched the ground before she vanished again and attacked from behind, and he blocked.

She vanished again and again, with each attack coming in faster. Silva was unable to even get one attack in as she barely stayed in place for half a second after her attack was blocked.

Silva could not predict where she was coming from, and that had become an issue. Even after he tried to follow her with his eyes, none of it worked at all.

Finally, she broke through, and her sword stopped a few inches from his neck.

"I win," she said while breathing heavily and struggling to even stand.
