Chapter 513 - 513: thought it would be that easy?

They all collided in the air at the same time, and a massive explosion ripped through the air. She spun and kicked Silva in the air, throwing him back while she turned to focus on the clone. The clone unleashed a barrage of attacks fast, each one targeted to take her down, but her spear moved fast, and she blocked the attacks.

She pulled her spear back, and the top glowed with a blood-red light. She stabbed at the clone, and he blocked the attack. It exploded on impact, and a blast followed after it, pushing the clone back.

Silva flew in from the left, his flame surged high and wrapped around the blade. It twisted like a vortex. He attacked, and she blocked. As both weapons collided, a massive twisting force pulled on her spear. She struggled to hold onto her spear, but the twisting flames managed to pull it off and hurl it into the air.

She was stunned when it happened, but Silva did not allow her to even think about it. He pulled back and slashed into her. A deep cut tore through her body, and her insides showed, a glowing red inside, twisting like it was trying to merge with the outside due to the effect of the attack that he had used.

His attack carried a simple technique. It used centrifugal and centripetal force, one pulled toward the center and one pushed toward the edges. It was not an attack he had gained from the system but something that he had gained from his own practice and all his minds working at the same time to create.

With the opportunity that he had created, the clone came in hot and slammed into her. He pulled his arm back and tried to stab. She blocked the attack with her arm. He let go of the sword and punched her right in the face. Her head bent backward, and they shot through the air fast.

The clone continued to land punch after punch after punch. She stretched out her hand, and the spear ripped out of the ground and shot back toward her. The clone tried to block the attack, but she used that as the opportunity to attack, punching the clone clean in the face and pushing him off her. She grabbed her spear, and all her wounds healed in seconds.

She spun the spear and began slashing in the air, unleashing red arc after red arc.

Silva blocked every attack. He planted his foot into the ground. His sword crackled with black lightning. He gathered it all, compressing it around the blade.

One attack that he had not used since he had worked on it.

A blast of lightning carried an immense power, and he kept pouring mana into it. Lightning did not work the same way that flames did. It did not carry a massive burning effect. Rather, it carried an effect that was much like a punch. It came like a slam and took out the enemy immediately. That was what he wanted to happen. He wanted it to land clean and destructive.

It needed his full concentration as he acted, and one simple distraction would absolutely ruin everything.

To ensure that he was not stopped, he summoned all ten of his clones. They stood there, each one with a grin on their face. They shot into the air after her.

"You have more?" she asked when she saw the clones, and she could tell that they were as strong as the other one, which meant stronger than Silva.

"Sorry to say, but I'll have to take you down now," Silva said.

She saw the look on his face and the smugness of it enraged her. She locked eyes on all the clones as they came, spun her spear, and got ready to take them on, but the clones proved to be too much.

One came in with a full slash that she blocked. She was pushed back, and then she tried to recover but was not fast enough as another clone lunged at her. Her eyes followed the attack, and she reacted by blocking it, only for an explosive blast of flames to rip out and take out her sides, throwing her further back into the air.

The clones laid in attack after attack, and she fought as best as she could to survive through each attack. She dealt her fair share of damage as well and dug through the clones with lethal attacks that would have killed any normal being but not them.

They began to contain her fully. When she was fully stuck in place, Silva got ready to deliver the final attack. He shot toward her fast and then slashed in the air. A massive arc of extremely concentrated lightning ripped through the air, but the lightning was not destructive all through the arc. All its destructive energy was focused on one point.

That was the power of this technique. When lightning struck, it hit with a first point of contact first, and what followed was the rest of the lightning with distributed power all through.

Silva's technique forced the destructive force into one point using mana compression. Everything was pulled toward a center point, and that was the point he needed to land first in the attack.

His attack travelled through the air and was about to land clean on her when suddenly everything stopped. Every motion, every movement, the air, and even time itself froze.

Silva could barely move himself. He watched his own attack freeze in the air.

He looked into the sky and saw them, many of them scattered across the sky, Weeping Angels, many of them in the hundreds to thousands, their presence forcing even time itself to come to a halt.

And at the center of it all was none other than Ragna, who flew in the sky with his strongest angels beside him.

He stared right at Silva and then cracked a smile. "You should have known it would not be that easy," he said.
