SSS Ranked Reincarnation: Dark Dragon Legacy

Chapter 438 - 438: Black Sword Sect

Silva looked at the ship, he couldn’t believe his eyes, it looked like something out of a sci-fi movie. And it was all his.

“Master, couldn’t we fly everywhere with your dragon form?” Lily asked.

“Fly? No matter how tough your body could be, you shouldn’t fly recklessly in the space of Lumis, you don’t want to be caught in a rift,” Aris said.

“A rift, what’s that?” Silva asked.

“Well, you see, space is like a fabric, massive clothes filled with different types of energy, mana, Qi, spiritual energy. All of these exist in this fabric.

They push and stretch the fabric of space, and when it gets far too much, it rips, and when it does, it creates a rift.

That’s the easiest way that I can put it. A rift is very dangerous, it could rip you to shreds and also transport you to a world you do not know, so it’s best you avoid them.

Ships like this can predict rifts and help you navigate around them, and even if you accidentally get close to one, the ship can resist it to a certain extent.

If you still fall into it, the ship can protect you from the dangers that exist there and make sure that you don’t die,” he explained.

He walked close to the ship and touched the body. “This material could take a full-blown attack from me and not suffer a single bit of a dent,” he said and knocked on the hull twice.

“So how do we fly it? Don’t we need some sort of permit or something like that?” Silva asked.

“Uhm, no, your identification as a hunter would do, so that’s what you have to get first. For the major part of Lumis, it’s made up of people that came here from different places, so nearly everyone uses their ship without certification.

There aren’t many ships here by the way, not everyone has that type of resource. As for how to fly it, it’s pretty simple, there is an inbuilt AI system that will help you fly.

Also, you should practice a lot, but none of that’s my issue. I’ve done what I agreed with the goddess, everything else falls in your hand.

Also, this is a bit of advice, find information about the world you came from, and look for ways to connect with them, unless you were exiled,” he said and walked away from the ship.

“Uhm, why should I do that?” Silva asked.

“Because it’s your home, there is no real reason, but at least have some connection with your family and your people,” Aris said.

“You’ll come to see that they are very important for your sanity out here,” he added casually and then walked to the door.

“The information on everywhere you need to go is already inside the ship. Finding the main city should take you a full day at the recommended speed,” Aris said.

“Why so long?” Silva asked.

“Because there are many surprises on the way, you’ll see when you get there,” he said with a small smile on his face.

Silva didn’t really trust this dude, but he decided to get in. He touched the ship and it immediately lit up, the doors came down.

Silva walked into the ship without hesitation, it seemed massive from inside, much bigger than it gave off from outside. It had several small rooms for resting, a small kitchen, and many other things.

He was about to get to the bridge when, “Master, there is company,” Lily spoke to his mind. Silva immediately walked out of the ship, and immediately he saw ten guys standing there, each one in full body armor that covered them entirely, and helmets as well. Each one had a sword on their back.

There was an eleventh one and he had no helmet. It was a middle-aged man with cold eyes and a scar on his cheek.

“Aris, Aris, Aris, it seems you have been busy,” the man said and glanced at the ship.

“Lin, please, this doesn’t have anything to do with you or your sect, so please don’t cause any issues,” Aris said.

“Huh? What the hell do you mean? The Black Sword Sect is the lord over this entire area, our cultivation sect handles everything that has to do with this place.

So a ship of this magnitude is definitely something that we have to come and supervise,” he said.

“Well, the ship belongs to a god, so back up,” Aris said.

“A god? I see, why do you want to lie to keep it, Aris? Gods are busy beings watching over balance, keeping their planets and worlds in place.

They don’t have the time to buy ships, nor do they need it,” the man said.

“Don’t be stubborn, this belongs to a goddess, and she asked that I use it for something. You don’t want to touch something that belongs to a god now, do you?” Aris asked.

“Definitely not, gods aren’t beings we can piss off. But with that in mind, a goddess would surely want her ship to be kept properly, so why don’t we, the Black Sword Sect, keep it for you and when she finally comes back, then we can easily hand it to her,” he said with a smile.

“You must have gone mad if for a second you believed I would listen to what you just said. Stand back and the situation won’t escalate,” Aris said.

“And if we don’t? Only you will take care of us?” he asked.

Aris bit his lips, he looked back. “Take the ship and leave now, I’ll handle them,” Aris said.

“Uhm, sorry, but we don’t do that,” Silva said. He looked at Dawn, “Keep Snow safe.” He then faced forward.

“Lily, Drake, it seems our friend Aris is having an issue, let’s lend a hand,” he said and the Abyssal Blade appeared immediately.

Lily’s wings came out, she flew into the air, ready to attack from above.

Aris looked at them then cracked a smile. “I like these ones,” he muttered.
