SSS-Rank Lord Supreme: The Ultimate Devourer

Chapter 61: Onwards to the Domain

  • Next Chapter

The exploration of the domain would actually be done when they reached there.

But that didn’t stop the limit breakers from the different powers, from discussing their battle positions and formations in the domain.

How to share the profits was naturally not left out.

It was a discussion that took all the time they could spare for it.

No one knew exactly how the inside of the domain was.

Even the person who had explained everything to them.

He only had information that had been passed to him.

Second-hand information, with no direct experience.

Neo watched as they prepared a proper battle formation, using the little information they had on hand.

Everyone came to a consensus, and stood up from the table.

It was time to pepeare their people for the journey ahead.

The inn which belonged to one of the families slowly became deserted.

Finally, it could be opened for its proper daily business.

The carriages departed the town.

They headed for the domain.

All the limit breakers had gathered themselves in one carriage.

It was a suggestion from one of them.

It would be the best way for them all to bond together.

It was a suggestion that no doubt made sense.

They would all have to depend on each other when they entered the domain.

Kotil and Neo sat next to each other at one end of the carriage.

Suren and Samath were opposite them.

Tukitan sat on the other side of Neo.

Apart from Suren, the four humans who had reached the top ten of the Ancient Supreme’s Combat Legacy sat so close to each other.

The four recognized each other.

But no one spoke up.

Neo wasn’t bothered.

He had something occupying his mind beyond the silence that filled this little corner of theirs.

This mortal world had somehow allowed so many limit breakers to come into existence in such a short time.

He observed them.

There was rivalry, no doubt

But there was something even more surprising.

All of them saw each other as something beyond ordinary peers.

He could feel the budding rise of a generation that was coming together to surpass the old.

"Kotil!"

Suren’s loud voice broke the silence.

Not only that.

It also drew some attention to their little corner.

"Why are you so silent?"

Her voice remained loud, uncaring of the looks thrown her way.

Kotil remained quiet.

Playing the statue.

Neo looked at this woman.

He had guessed what sort of relationship she had with Kotil.

But it was still a guess at the end.

He felt a curiosity to know what it truly was.

"Suren, is it?"

She looked surprised that Neo would talk to her.

He had been awfully quiet throughout their discussions in the gathering.

Now that she thought deeply about it.

He seemed unconcerned.

"Benefactor! This humble one is Suren."

Her eyes lit up.

She almost seemed to glow.

"Benefactor, when you saved Kotil, had he been beaten to a pulp?"

She looked at Kotil who remained still as a statue.

Tukitan couldn’t resist a snicker. He seemed to be in a good mood now.

He could even laugh at Suren’s jokes.

Neo blinked.

He really shouldn’t be surprised.

This woman was lively to a fault.

Samath didn’t react much, but unlike Kotil, hers was just her natural temperant.

"Nothing like that happened."

Neo gave a sincere answer.

"Is that true, benefactor?"

She stood up.

She got closer to Kotil.

As if to check up on him.

The man’s glare was frightening.

Even Neo felt the terror.

Suren stopped her actions.

But she didn’t look bothered.

Neo could even tell that she looked somewhat pleased.

She sat down, and kept staring at him.

"There is no need to keep troubling your fiance that much."

Samath said to Suren, when she felt the woman was being too much.

She seemed to be chiding Suren, but her tone was soft.

"Oh, Samath. What do you know? I told you to get yourself a man."

She turned from staring at Kotil, to look at the woman beside her.

"If you had, you will understand my situation."

She fanned herself with her hand.

"I wish you can understand my fascination with getting him to talk."

Samath almost blamed herself for speaking.

She shut her mind from whatever nonsense the woman was saying.

But not for long.

"Samath, come to think of it. Our benefactor isn’t so bad. I have noticed you staring at him since forever."

Samath was abashed.

Suren continued, regardless.

She didn’t care that she was making her friend uncomfortable.

"If I didn’t know that idiot, Tukitan, can’t keep his thing in his pants when with the ladies,"

She gave the man a disdainful glance.

"I would have suspected him, with all the glances he has been sneaking at the benefactor."

Tukitan was speechless.

He wondered why this crazy woman was suddenly turning on him.

Neo was shocked speechless.

He sneaked a glance at Kotil.

This man was really lucky.

His fiancee was a really wonderful woman.

Kotil felt the not so subtle glance.

He felt like burying his head in the ground.

The woman didn’t stop.

She yammered on, uncaring of everything else.

"Look at his arms. Strong and mighty."

She had one arm around Samath’s shoulders.

The other rose up, elbows bent and fist drawn towards her shoulder, as if to display the strong and mighty she was talking about.

"Shut up!"

Samath could no longer take her nonsense.

She yanked her arm off her shoulders.

What nonsense was she yapping about?

"This is the young man I have been telling you about. The one who inherited that legacy."

Samath almost shoved the words into her thick brain.

"Oh!"

There was something that could finally keep the woman quiet.

She stared purposefully at Neo now.

"Benefactor! I never knew you were such a big shot."

She almost seem to want to fawn over him.

"I couldn’t make it to the legacy that time. If not, I would have recognized you."

Tukitan snorted.

"As if you could have made it to the top ten."

Suren turned to him.

Her smile wasn’t friendly.

She dared him to repeat those words.
